It was a bit unusual for college students to be house hunting.

But perhaps because they were so young, the staff at the sales center were surprisingly enthusiastic.

Of course, part of that had to do with Lin Zhengran’s natural charm.

A few of the saleswomen came over eagerly. “Hey there, handsome! Looking to buy a place?”

Lin Zhengran nodded. “I’d like to take a look at some two-story villas.”

They sized him up, excited. “Sure thing! Let us big sisters show you around!”

Whether or not this young guy had money was hard to say, but his aura was definitely not something ordinary.

The more they looked, the more he seemed like a second-gen rich kid.

The three girls stuck closely to Lin Zhengran as they visited several villas in a row. Their eyes sparkled as they toured one luxurious layout after another.

The salesladies remained super enthusiastic, and when they got tired of walking, Lin Zhengran took the girls to lunch—then planned to continue in the afternoon.

While they ate, Jiang Xueli whispered to Han Wenwen, covering her mouth, “If we hadn’t tagged along today, I bet those ladies would’ve been all over Zhengran, asking for his WeChat, right? They were way too friendly.”

Han Wenwen walked slowly ahead. “One hundred percent.”

He Qing added softly, “Zhengran really is the type who’ll attract attention wherever there are girls around. But I don’t know why, coming to a real estate office this morning suddenly reminded me of those short videos... Guess reality isn’t like novels after all.”

Han Wenwen immediately understood and gave a knowing cough, whispering:

“Hmph, take a good look at yourself, broke girl. Do you even know what a villa is? This is for rich folks. And you’re here buying one? What a joke.” She puffed out her chest dramatically.

He Qing burst out laughing and picked up the act:

“Then a super hot saleswoman shows up and fawns over Zhengran, but he suddenly pulls out a bank card and mocks the previous sales rep.” She mimicked sweetly, hand extended like holding a card:

“Wrap up all the villas you couldn’t sell—put them under her commission!”

Han Wenwen joined in with a regretful expression, clutching her face: “Huh? No way! I was here first! Handsome, let me take you on a tour instead! Please! As long as you buy from me, I’ll do anything for you—even that…”

Jiang Xueli grimaced. “What the heck have you two been watching? I can’t believe you’re the target audience for those kinds of videos.”

He Qing blushed. “There’s a lot of them, okay? I just see them now and then… they’re kinda fun to watch.”

Walking ahead, Lin Zhengran suddenly raised his hand and gave both He Qing and Wenwen a flick on the forehead.

“Ah—!”

Then, after thinking about it, he flicked Jiang Xueli too.

Jiang Xueli held her head. “What was that for?! I wasn’t even involved!”

Lin Zhengran replied, “You really think I didn’t hear you?”

Jiang Xueli huffed and turned away. “Always bullying me!”

“But I have to admit, ever since you three came back from that trip, your bond’s gotten even tighter. You’re always following me around like you’re in a play—each of you with a line.”

The girls looked at each other and stayed quiet.

It was true—since that trip, their relationship had unknowingly grown closer.

After all, they'd all been in the same bed, hugged by a certain someone while sleeping.

…Though it was just sleeping.

Lin Zhengran asked, “Out of the villas we saw this morning—you were all gushing nonstop. Any favorites?”

The three thought for a moment.

He Qing rubbed her not-really-hurting forehead. “They were all great, but… something just felt missing.”

Han Wenwen nodded. “Same. The ones you picked, Zhengran-ge, had big upstairs rooms and nice living spaces, but something felt off.”

Jiang Xueli said, “I think I know what it is—it felt too separated.”

Lin Zhengran blinked. “Separated?”

Jiang Xueli explained, “Yeah. All the layouts the salespeople showed us had separate spaces for each person. I know it makes sense for everyone to have their own room, but realistically, we’d probably sleep together most of the time, right?”

He Qing and Han Wenwen froze.

He Qing blushed. Han Wenwen gave a thoughtful nod. “Lily really does say risqué things now and then.”

Jiang Xueli stretched out her arms, her face turning red.

“What?! I meant regular sleeping! We’re going to be one family, aren’t we? And once we marry Zhengran, we’ll be his wives—of course we’d sleep together.

Sure, there’ll be times when we need our own space, but most of the time we should be together. Otherwise, it’s just like living with roommates!”

Han Wenwen suddenly understood and clapped her fist into her palm. “That’s it! No wonder something felt off. Our rooms are too big, and Zhengran-ge’s is too small!”

Lin Zhengran hadn’t expected that to be their complaint. “Didn’t I mention this before? I picked villas with large living rooms on the first floor so everyone could rest together if needed.”

The three all shook their heads.

He Qing said, “That’s not the same. A living room isn’t a real bedroom. What we want is a proper shared bedroom—where we can sleep with you every night. Not a temporary setup.”

Now Lin Zhengran got it. He’d been thinking that, regardless of how many girlfriends he ended up with, a few nights a week—or nap times—would be enough to be together.

After all, he had things to do in the evenings.

But clearly, the girls thought differently. They wanted to be together every night, and even after doing certain things, they still expected to return to the big shared bedroom.

Basically, they wanted to live as a real family.

Personal rooms weren’t that important anymore. What mattered was a true shared space.

Lin Zhengran nodded. “I get it now. That makes sense too. So this afternoon, our goal is clear—find a place with a super spacious master bedroom. Big enough for seven people to live together. The individual rooms can be simple, just for privacy when needed. That sound good?”

The three girls suddenly grew a bit jealous. One shared thought crossed their minds:

“So Lin Zhengran is actually house-hunting based on having six girlfriends...”

Lin Zhengran noticed and asked, “What’s wrong with you three? Any other questions?”

They all shook their heads, each radiating jealousy. “Nothing.”

Han Wenwen poked her finger at her lips and added, “We should also plan for kids’ rooms ahead of time. If each of us has one baby, we’ll need six more rooms!”

Lin Zhengran nodded. “Yeah, I’ve thought about that too. But we’ll probably have to buy a separate place for them. Honestly, it’s hard to find a layout like that. Might have to custom-build one.”

After lunch, Lin Zhengran resumed the house hunt—and to his surprise, he actually found a place that fit.

It wasn’t two stories—it was a massive three-story villa. The price was over four times more than the two-story ones and it was newly built.

But when it came to money, there were no real obstacles. Even though it was a hefty amount for Lin Zhengran…

He made the decision immediately and signed the purchase contract.

From that day on, the four of them officially moved into their new home.
