Priceless Slave (BL)
Chapter 127: When Sunset Comes
CHAPTER 127: WHEN SUNSET COMES
Kai swallowed, looking at Sylas. Then he lowered his gaze. "I-I will do anything to protect and serve my Master."
Adrien cleared his throat again. "You shouldn’t call him Master. I told you, you’re no longer a slave."
Kai looked at Adrien, then looked down again. He wasn’t used to it yet. But Sylas had told him to call him by his name when they were alone.
Dinner ended. Adrien simply told Sylas that he no longer needed to hide their relationship.
"As long as you know what you are doing and what your duties are as the future king, go ahead. You don’t need to hide it. Princess Eresia must know from the beginning that Kai will be your concubine," said Adrien.
Sylas nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty. I will remember your words."
He still couldn’t believe that Adrien approved of Kai. Was he dreaming? His strict father had accepted Kai?
Even so, he was grateful. He no longer had to hide Kai or fear that his father would do something to kill the young man.
The most important thing was that Kai was safe.
Kai looked at Adrien and Sylas in turn, seeing that the atmosphere was no longer so tense. Especially when he saw Sylas smile. That meant it was good news. Kai lowered his gaze. But he quickly stood up when Sylas called him, seeing that Adrien was about to leave.
After Adrien left, Sylas walked toward him and suddenly hugged him tightly.
Kai was surprised. "M-master..."
Sylas took a deep breath. "Oh Kai, I don’t know how to express my feelings. I’m really relieved, so relieved."
Kai closed his eyes when Sylas kissed his lips.
His lips were kissed, his chest was pounding.
At that moment, Visen entered the dining room. The man bowed respectfully.
"Your Highness, I will take him back to the dormitory."
But Sylas shook his head. "You may go, I will take him myself later."
Visen was surprised. "Your Highness..."
"Don’t worry, Visen. I’ll take Kai for a walk. You should enjoy the festival too," replied Sylas.
Visen smiled. "I enjoyed it the whole time until I got dizzy looking at the decorations, Your Highness."
Sylas laughed. Visen had been responsible for security in most areas during the festival preparations. He knew the man might be fed up.
Visen finally left after making sure Sylas didn’t need him.
Sylas looked intently at Kai, smiling. "You gave me a wonderful gift today. How about I take you to the festival again?" he asked.
Hearing the word festival, Kai’s eyes immediately lit up. He was excited to hear it. But there was a little fear that made him hesitate. What if something bad happened again?
Even so, Kai didn’t want to waste the opportunity. He wanted to spend as much time with Sylas as possible.
Sylas called his guards to prepare to leave the palace again. He also told them to inform Alvaro to bring Vlad’s slaves to the festival.
***
This summer was truly a season Vlad hated. Usually he didn’t care, but this time he was really upset. The sun set so late. Night only lasted a few hours.
He had been waiting impatiently until Redert shook his head. As soon as the sun set, the vampire immediately darted away.
Who else would he go to but Alvaro? He often followed the knight, and he could smell him from a distance.
His face immediately lit up when he saw Alvaro looking busy among his slaves.
Alvaro was still occupied taking care of Vlad’s slaves. Even though it was Sylas’ request, he felt personally responsible for them. For some reason, he felt a connection to them.
He felt annoyed every time his head reminded him it was for Vlad’s sake. He denied it with all his heart.
On the other hand, the slaves were not as annoying as their master. They looked healthy, but didn’t talk much. They were also very obedient. Even when they spoke, it was very softly.
Alvaro felt like a father taking his children to the playground.
After the guard told him to take the slaves to the festival in the center of the capital on Sylas’ orders, he immediately asked them to get into the carriage.
John helped take care of them. Meanwhile, Obi was so happy that they were going to the festival again.
"You seem busy."
The words came from behind Alvaro, making the knight turn around. He knew Vlad’s voice very well, and for some reason, he was a little happy this time. He was sure it was because it meant he was free from guarding the slaves.
Or maybe there was something else?
"We are going to the festival. Prince Sylas also asked to meet there. What are your plans?" asked Alvaro, his voice cold.
"Anywhere, as long as I’m near you, I don’t mind," said Vlad, smiling mischievously.
Alvaro sighed, looking around. They were still inside the palace grounds, with many eyes watching them.
"Then let’s go now. Your horse is over there," said Alvaro, pointing to a corner. He didn’t want everyone to see Vlad vanish into thin air. His arrival alone made him anxious, if anyone saw.
Instead of walking toward his horse, Vlad walked closer. Alvaro, who was closing the carriage door, was startled when he turned around.
Vlad was right in front of him.
"Shit! You scared me!" he cursed, pushing the vampire away.
Vlad gently held Alvaro’s hand and pushed him further until the knight’s body was pressed against the side of the carriage.
"L-Lord Vlad, what are you doing? You know we’re still inside the palace grounds, right?" Alvaro’s heart was pounding. He looked around, several guards were staring at them, making him push Vlad away in panic.
Vlad chuckled, finally standing up straight and moving away from Alvaro. But seeing Alvaro’s flushed, adorable face, he couldn’t help himself.
The next second, Alvaro screamed in surprise, feeling Vlad’s hand on the back of his neck, protecting him from the hard carriage door, while his lips were already captured by the vampire’s.
He was too shocked to react. The vampire’s movements were so fast. His eyes widened as he felt the vampire’s tongue enter his mouth.
"Mmnh!" Alvaro pushed Vlad with all his strength. But his hands were quickly pinned to the carriage by the vampire.
Alvaro felt his legs go weak, Vlad’s kiss deep and intoxicating. There was still some resistance within him, but he knew he couldn’t do anything.
Until a voice made Vlad stop his kiss.
"What are you doing?"
Alvaro’s eyes widened at the sound.
General Huron!
