CHAPTER 33: BACK TO MORNINGSTAR (1)

Since the Supreme Council was founded ten thousand years ago, during the Legendary, immemorial era.

The existence of the Royal Academies was vastly known.

A tradition passed down from generation to generation.

After the Emerald Awakening Ceremony, all successors, regardless of their failures and successes, will have to apply for a royal academy.

But to do so, they must undergo a series of tests and examinations. One involves a written examination.

And the other involved physical tests.

Even though all successors from the supreme kingdoms were able to cultivate both Sword Level and Mana Convergence Stage.

They needed to pick one as their primary stage and it will be registered upon their entrance into the Academy.

Just like the quadruplets, the boys chose Sword Level cultivation as their primary cultivation line.

While Sumeri had picked the Mana Convergence Stage, she is a bona fide mage.

While many of them had already selected the royal academies they wanted to attend in the first place.

But it will depend on the academies for their admission.

Many had picked Valor Academy because it’s renowned even amongst the thirty royal academies.

But Caden had set his eyes on it for a different reason.

This Academy is where the first Invasion of the Red Continent will take place. And Sumeri will be a victim of this invasion.

During the time when Caden was the Ghost of Purple. He had already learnt of this secrets.

The movements of the Red Continent during the first and second invasions.

This time, he was preparing to interrupt their ploys. This was why he had his eyes on the Valor Academy.

To his surprise, even knights of the Red Crescent Kingdom were asking Caden to choose the academy.

At first, Caden was preparing for the invitation meant to for examination and test.

Since for him to be admitted into the Valor Academy. He must go through the necessary examination and test.

But what he received instead shocked him to the core. He received an invitation from all thirty royal academies.

This wasn’t an invitation meant for the examination and test. This was a scholarship invitation.

If Caden accepts one, he will automatically be invited into the Academy.

Due to the fact that he’s a trending star in the Purple Continent and quite renowned amongst his peers.

Possessing a Mana Aptitude of 16.98% and an S-Ranked Innate Skill, he understood why every academy wanted him.

But he already had his eyes set on one academy.

The Valor Royal Academy.

After Caden’s restrictions were lifted and his Mana Core was unsealed. It was time to return back to Morningstar.

To prepare for his departure to the Valor Academy.

He came with a single royal carriage and he was determined to leave with that carriage as well.

There was no need for him to fret.

He has Alyssa Silversword as his personal bodyguard. Right now, she’s at the level of a Sword Grandmaster.

She’s definitely not weak and Caden isn’t weak either. During the expedition, he had tested out his newly awakened skills.

These skills were dragon path skills.

He learnt that his draconic scales could be considered mutated cells in his body and his B-Ranked Skill: Draconic Scales controls those cells.

At his wish, he could summon those cells, creating draconic scales in a particular area on his body.

Creating a near indestructible shield, His B-Ranked Skill: Dragon’s Eye also gave him vision.

He could easily detect those who were hiding through their heat signatures and he could see far away as well.

His B-Ranked Skill: Dragon’s Vision was versatile and the same goes for his B-Ranked Skill: Draconic Scales.

What he wasn’t happy about was the fact that two of his newly awakened skills were currently sealed.

For some reason, his B-Ranked Skill: Dragon’s Breath is currently sealed and the same goes for his SSS-Ranked Transformation Skill: Primordial Draconic Manifestation.

Although he has no idea what those skills are all about. But he could tell from the fact that they’re currently sealed.

Those skills must possess a certain strength that his body isn’t able to contain at the momentum.

Especially the fact that he currently evolved into a Dragonman and advanced to Level 2

All in all....with his stats maxed out to 150, he has gotten even faster and stronger than he was before.

Caden has been traveling for two days already, moving through countless Lower-tier Kingdoms, Medium-sized Kingdoms, Super Kingdoms, and even Supreme Kingdoms.

After confirming his identity, they made sure not to disrupt his journey back to Morningstar.

Many even wished him a safe journey.

And it was during when the sun was about to set that they finally arrived at the entrance of Morningstar.

Seeing the royal carriage drawing gently, the watchmen and guards quickly opened the ten feet tall metallic gates.

With their heads bowing before the royal carriage.

Caden was a successor after all. But not only that, he’s the successor of the 90th supreme kingdom.

And a prominent one at that.

To his suprise, there were many waiting to receive him. His four brothers had already returned to Morningstar a week ago.

Caden was the only one left.

And his father had already made his return to Morningstar. To receive his beloved son who was nearly assassinated.

They could hear the loud noises outside the carriage. The cheers, the claps, the jubilations.

Prince Caden has brought glory to Morningstar after all. Candy peeped through the window of the carriage.

She could see the crowds gathered; thousands of inhabitants of the Morningstar Kingdom were present.

Both the elderly, the teenagers, the youths, and he children. Their faces filled with smiles and happiness.

This was a beautiful day for them.

Candy quickly left the window as she returned back to her seat. She was sitted beside Caden.

While Alyssa sat in front of them. "There are too many celebrating your return," She said with a smile.

Caden softly exhaled, "Ye, a h, I knew this would happen, it’s only natural. I brought glory back to Morningstar"

"The fact that I awakened an S-Ranked Innate Skill and became the biggest winner of the Emerald Awakening Ceremony"

"It’s only natural they would treat me this way" Caden chuckled. Although he acted nonchalantly, he was happy.

This was something he wouldn’t have dreamt of, even in his past life.

Every changed when he not only regressedbut he got his hands on the Primordial System.

The fact that his body has been reconstructed by the SSS-Ranked Skill, Primordial Dragon Physique.

As of now, everything was going according to his plans. Especially his arrangements towards the Red Continent.

Within a few hours of their journey through the overwhelmingly large supreme kingdom.

They finally arrived at the White Jade Castle.

The home of House Ryder.

The gates of the Castle were opened for them, and the guards bowed their heads before the royal carriage.

Allow it to freely enter the castle’s courtyard.

Within a few minutes, the royal carriage came to a halt. This was a signal that they have returned.

Caden took a deep breath, exhaling softly...

All royal knights of the White Jade Castle were present. Including the knight captains and higher-tier knights.

Many government officials of the supreme kingdom were also present to welcome the trending star.

Caden had expected it.

He was the biggest winner of the Emerald Awakening Ceremony after all. A royal knight approached the carriage’s door.

The door creaked open, and the first to step out of the carriage was Alyssa Silversword.

King Alex, who was standing on the stairway to the castle’s door, had his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"Who’s that lady?" He muttered, no matter how he tried. He couldn’t recognize her.

Behind King Alex were his four sons whose expression showed their disdain towards this event.

When they returned, it was just another day for Morningstar.

But when Caden returned. The whole Morningstar came to welcome him, they felt threatened.

It was like their positions as successors meant nothing.

They felt envious of Caden who had everything. Possessing a Mana Aptitude of 10% and awakening an S-Ranked Innate Skill.

He was the biggest winner of the Emerald Awakening Ceremony.

Even defeating successors from the top ten supreme kingdoms.

If eyes could kill. Caden would already be dead.

By the King’s right-hand side were his two trusted aides. Imperial General Storey Langston and Benjamin Ortega.

Both were extremely high ranked.

Storey Langston was a Sword Level, Sword Great Grandmaster, and Benjamin Ortega was a Mana Convergence Stage, Grand Master.

Both were entities that no one would dare antagonize.

After Alyssa stepped down from the carriage, she made sure everything was safe.

That was when Caden emerged from the royal carriage. Behind him, Candy followed.

The maids who were watching everything, glared at Candy. Not even hiding the envy in their hearts.

The moment King Alex sets his eyes on his beloved son. His eyes gleamed; he could tell Caden had gotten stronger.

He wasn’t the only one.

Everyone could see the changes in Caden’s body. He had become taller, more handsome, and more muscular.

And his Mana as well, was more terrifying.

Caden kept a straight face as he slowly approached the stairway. His movements came to a halt when he suddenly fell on his knees.
