Caden could sense it, his eyebrows furrowed "What is....." He glared down to see a red mark imprinted on his arm.

And before he could even react. His arm exploded, three more marks appeared on his body.

The explosions occured simultaneously, sending ice shards across the scene.

Number 5’s laughter echoed through the hallway "Hahahahaha, is this your Number 0?"

"Isn’t he too weak? I was expecting a bit of resistance since you got the Number 0....." Number 5 was quickly interuppted.

Unable to react to the terrifying speed, he received a punch across his face. He was sent crashing into a wall.

The body parts which exploded were already reconstructed. As long as his S-Ranked Innate Skill is active.

His entirety is made of ice, it was easy for him to regenerate any part of his body. Including his head.

Number 5 dashed out of the wall he crashed into. He leapt, appearing behind Caden.

Number 5’s eyes squinted at the sight of the ice spears. "Is this it?" He growled, "This cannot be the true power of an S-Ranked Innate Skill" He sounded almost disappointed.

Caden chuckled "Why would I use the true powers of my S-Ranked Innate Skill against you?"

"You’re not even a worthy opponent to test the limit of my power" Caden bragged. His fingers moved.

The command signal was given and the floating ice spears were fired against Number 5.

The attack came rushing in, Number 5 groaned. Casting a magic barrier to counter the ice spears.

But the ice spears bypassed the effects of the barrier, connecting with Number 5.

A miniature shockwave swept across the hallway. Caden smiled at the result "Wasn’t that a magic barrier created as a Third-tier mage?" Caden asked.

He moved his hand once again, this time, the frozen energy engulfed the scene. The erupting blizzards came in like a swirling storm.

Number 5 spat out bloods from his mouth, even though he was unable to block the ice spears.

Using his third A-Ranked Skill, he countered the effects of the attacks, reducing it and only receiving minor injuries.

Using his arm, he cleaned the blood stained on his lips, his eyes flickered with uncertainty.

Number 5 nodded "I guess I was foolish to think a Third-tier magic could counter the effects of an S-Ranked Innate Skill"

Number 5 could see the swirling storm of blizzards and ice shards scattered across the scene.

He now understood that Caden using those Ice spears was only playing with him then.

Meanwhile Caden was still busy analysing the situation ’He suffered minimal effect after colliding with my ice spears’

Some Purplemen could even awaken flame path skills which naturally is originated from the Red Continent.

For the Number 5 to be overconfident, even after knowing that Caden possessed an S-Ranked Innate Skill.

Caden understood the confidence the Second year’s Number 5 had in his skills.

Caden softly exhaled, this time....he summoned a hundred ice spears and the blizzards became even more terrifying.

"It’s time to end this" Caden declared.

Just then, the transparent cyan panel appeared before his eyes.
