CHAPTER 69: RED MYSTERIES (1)

Caden stared at the middle-aged looking woman in disbelief, his eyes still glued to the notification.

Ms. Nana stared at Caden with a confused look, suddenly she smiled "Is there an issue? Mr" She asked.

Caden quickly recollected himself, remembering where he was at the moment.

He nodded with a smile "Of course I do, I just got completely lost while staring at your beauty" He said.

The crowd laughed heartily at his words, Ms. Nana’s eyes gleamed, her smiles broadened even more "Aww, that’s sweet to hear"

"Are you a student of this class?" She asked.

Caden nodded "Of course I am" He answered, "Sorry about my late coming but I was quite busy with alot of things"

"I had alot to deal with, but I’ll introduce myself in case you haven’t seen my face" Caden paused for a second.

"The name is Caden, Caden Ryder...and I’m the current first year’s Number 0" Caden introduced himself.

"Ah" Ms. Nana giggled, "So you’re the current Number 0 eh? To think the infamous Caden Ryder is quite handsome"

"Hope you won’t be a playboy" She joked, Caden chuckled "A playboy?" He shrugged, "I’m too busy to even talk to a woman"

Ms. Nana smirked at his words "Is that so?" She giggled, "Then come to my office later if you want some relationship advise" She winked.

Caden cupped his hand and bowed his head before her "Will sure do when I have the time" He said.

Ms. Nana nodded "I’ll forgive you this once because I know the important duties of those who are ranked Number 0"

"But if you come late next time to my lectures, you’ll be punished" Ms. Nana warned "I’ll introduce myself again, my name is Ms. Nana Teton and I’ll be supervising magic theory 101 course"

"Please have your seat and let’s continue" She stretched her hand, gesturing him to head towards the crowd.

Caden nodded, only his way leaving....his lips curled into a faint smile.

His eyes were glued to the transparent cyan panel.

He clenched his fist "To think my luck is this good" He mumbled, Caden approached an empty seat.

He sat down, his gaze fixed on Ms. Nana who continued her lecture but his mind was completely absent.

Filled with devious schemes, he has encountered two Red Spies hidden in the Valor Royal Academy.

And they’re both women.

’Back in the Red Crescent Kingdom, the Red Spies I took out were all men, why are there too many women spies in here?’ He wondered.

’Is it because this is an academy?’ He was in deep thoughts, not noticing how fast time went.

Ms. Nana while she was explaining a few things to the class, she glanced at Caden a few times.

She noticed something strange, his behaviors, his expression.

There was something different about him.

’This Caden Ryder really is something else, to think I got lucky that the bastard joined my class’ She grinned.

’I’ll make sure he never pass my course and keeps failing the Magecraft class’ She had crossed her mind.

Ready to deal with Caden no matter what.

Outside the academic premises, it was like the Valor Royal Academy was built in a city.

The apartments prepared for each guardian were luxurious and dignified, as long as they didn’t approach the school premises without receiving the permission to do so.

They were free to move around, the explore the city which surrounded the Valor Royal Academy.

Amongst the guardians seen walking through the streets of the city, Alyssa was one of them.

She wasn’t putting on her hood, not hiding her face from anyone.

She was simply curious about this strange city and wanted to explore it. Inside the school premises.

But outside the school premises, the military faction were the ultimate authority.

In every corner, dozens of armed soldiers were stationed. After losing two soldiers mysterious.

The military faction had increased their pressure, spreading out soldiers across the entirety of the city.

Hoping to find any trace of Red spies hiding around. This was also Alyssa’s goal in the first place.

She had received an order from Caden before they got seperated. She was ordered to observe the female escort.

The staff member who had escorted Caden to the registration hall and to his dormitory.

Caden had confirmed her to be a Red spy and she had become the prime target of Alyssa.

"It’s been five days now" Alyssa sighed, "Why haven’t I even seen that bitch" Alyssa cursed inwardly.

Her eyes scanned through the streets once again, she was moving at a certain direction when she noticed something.

"The he...." A magic circle had appeared beneath her feets, without even resisting a bit.

She was forcefully teleported away from the scene.

Alyssa opened her eyes to see herself thrown into a dark alley, the magic circle beneath her slowly faded away.

She softly exhaled "I guess searching for them is the only way to find them" Her lips curled into a faint smile.

She slightly tilted her head to see herself surrounded by eight masked figures, all armed with varieties of weapons.

Axes, sickles, daggers, spears and blades.

Their eyes filled with bloodlust, Alyssa felt it, the oppressive presence of Qi emitting from their bodies.

"I guess there were those who were quite unfortunate" She sighed, placing her hand on her scabbard "Victims of the former unique skill suffers immense pains until their deaths"

"This is my mercy" She whispered, a command signal was given and the blood puppets charging towards her.

With their physical strength and speed enhanced by the Qi forcefully user on them.

Their snarls resounded in the air, Alyssa gently unsheathed her 9th graded weapon.

She was fast, too fast for the naked eyes to see.

Appearing behind the charging blood puppets, she gently sheathed her sword back into the scabbard.

In that moment, the heads of the blood puppets began to fall, Alyssa closed her eyes.

"Your blood puppets are dead.....now come out" She demanded. Just then a loud clap reverberated through the air.

"Hehehehehehehe" A chuckle echoed, "You sure are strong, don’t you think? Ms. Mona"
