Primordial Awakening: I Can Evolve My Skills Infinitely
Chapter 263: The Primordial is Here, To The Kingdom Gates
CHAPTER 263: THE PRIMORDIAL IS HERE, TO THE KINGDOM GATES
Sam was about to leave to engage with the [Celestial] group, as well as all those trying to find him.
But before leaving, he quickly turned around, facing the girls once more.
"Do you need another layer of protection?" he asked. "I don’t know if it’ll be useful, but..."
"It’s fine," Belle cut him off. "You need everything to fight, right?"
Sam looked at them, then sighed.
He had been planning to summon the [Primordial Clone] and give it the order to stay around the mansion to defend them.
After all, by itself, it could probably defeat every single awakener in this kingdom.
But Sam also felt like he would need it to help him fully win this battle.
"Alright," he decided not to press this matter much more. "But as I said, if anything happens, teleport."
Belle still had the [Kingdom Teleporter], after all.
And to be honest, Sam felt even more grateful that he had picked a mansion farthest from the luxurious district, as it was where the lowest amount of people were.
That meant it would take them time to find Seraphine and Belle.
And thus, by the time they started connecting the dots, Sam would have already started fighting them.
[This is our last task before completing the ’Seventh Mission’ and moving on to the ’Soul’ Realm.]
’I know.’
Basically, this meant that this was the final "loose end" Sam needed to fix before moving on.
After all, he had done everything he could do in this realm — meeting the heroines, improving his relationships with them, completing all the missions, and getting stronger.
After that, there would be nothing left to do but to keep pushing onward, by himself.
’I didn’t actually plan to kill anybody,’ Sam thought. ’After all, if they never found out what I was, then everything would’ve been fine.’
But now that they did, he couldn’t actually let it go, no matter what.
"=)"
His eyes flickered as he waved at Seraphine and Belle, who closed the mansion door.
Seraphine instantly cast [Privacy Zone] as well as [Verdant Barrier].
Belle also buffed the two of them with [Dragon Roar], making them both stronger.
They were ready to defend themselves, which was good.
But on the other hand, Sam knew it was time to move — and alone.
’I don’t see any more reasons to hide.’
After all, he couldn’t hide himself from tens of thousands of awakeners.
Meaning that the moment Sam fought, his identity would be fully leaked.
And thus, there was no reason to hide.
Primordial Clone!
Sam summoned the clone, which appeared beside him.
"=)"
Its dark crimson body flared with the power of Sam’s affinities, as well as its glowing eyes and wide smile.
Sam stared at the clone with narrowed eyes as it looked back at him.
"It really is extremely similar," Sam whispered. "Almost identical to the primordial in the footage."
They looked so similar one might even believe they were the same being.
The same dark crimson body, the same flaring eyes, and the huge smile that made them look like maniacs.
It was terrifying.
But to Sam, it was simply normal, and he spoke to the clone calmly.
"We look for the [Eternal] group for now, nothing else," he ordered. "Then we kill them. Don’t attack anything else unless they attack you first."
Hearing that, the primordial clone nodded, the smile on its face growing even larger.
It was as if it was saying, "So we’re finally doing that, are we?"
Sam sighed.
Primordial Wings!
"Stay on the ground. I’ll go to the sky," Sam spoke.
Flap!
He flapped his crimson wings and flew into the air above the [Forsaken Kingdom], which was massive.
And just like that, the two of them rushed forward, the clone jumping across rooftops and buildings to cross distance faster.
Finding the [Eternal] group in the entire kingdom would be incredibly difficult, Sam couldn’t deny that.
But it was fine.
Even if it took hours of searching, he’d eventually find them, and at that moment... he could finish this.
Sam flew in the sky and looked down, following the clone’s position from above.
He didn’t care about hiding, as said before.
So even if people saw the clone or spotted him flying above, it didn’t matter to him.
And indeed, right as he thought that...
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?"
"Oh my god... it looks like one of them!"
"HOLY SHIT, HE’S HERE!"
"FUCK, RUN!"
Sam could hear the chaos unfold beneath him, and a wide grin spread across his face.
The reason why he was in the sky and the clone was on the ground was simple, the clone looked exactly like the primordials everyone feared so much.
That meant that the moment news spread that it was here, the [Eternal] group and everyone trying to kill him would come at once.
This was the best way for Sam to get rid of them all without putting Seraphine and Belle in danger.
The primordial clone wasn’t attacking anyone though, simply landing on a square and moving forward.
’Good,’ Sam ordered it. ’Now go to the main square of the kingdom, it’s where the highest amount of people will be.’
"=)"
The primordial clone nodded and began pushing forward, the primordial sword in its hands as it rushed again.
And indeed, only a few minutes after people spotted the clone, news spread everywhere across the kingdom.
Everyone knew the "return of the Primordial" had come.
And though many were terrified, they believed they could defeat him, as they did with the others, if they tried hard enough.
Fwish!
"He’s going to the entrance!"
"Be careful! Don’t let him see you, or he might kill!"
"Why did he show himself though?!"
Speculations spread, but no one actually knew the answer.
And eventually...
’Here it is,’ Sam thought as he saw the main square, the one right in front of the kingdom gates. ’Now or never.’
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, his soul flaring with power.
’We end this, once and for all.’
And just like that, he was ready to go down the moment anything happened.
