Kranos sighed in relief, then stared at the location where the creature had died. A new one was slowly forming. "A mid-stage Dao Palace Realm creature?" Kranos guessed in his heart. With a faint sigh, his figure once again moved sharply towards the creature before it could fully form. He knew that emerging victorious in this fight would undoubtedly be very difficult!

"I wonder how the others are doing..." Kranos wondered silently as his Azure Sky Sword moved to strike at the creature. The half-formed head was immediately struck by Kranos’s blade. His sword moved downwards and struck at the creature’s half-formed leg; immediately, the leg was shattered by the strength of the attack.

But the creature continued condensing despite Kranos’ continuous destruction. Seeing that everything was pointless, Kranos sighed then quickly stepped back. Kranos sighed then shouted aloud, "I quit!" He didn’t know if the mysterious space could hear him, or if that was the way to go about it, but he felt that it was worth giving it a try.

Thankfully, soon after he spoke, the mysterious voice resounded once again, "Congratulations on becoming a disciple of the Sovereign Star Sect. You are promoted to a core disciple. The inheritance trial is over, and you may receive your inheritance."
