Primordial God Of Time
Chapter 110: Trial Of The Heart... Escaping The World!
CHAPTER 110: TRIAL OF THE HEART... ESCAPING THE WORLD!
As soon as his sword moved, Kranos felt the will of the world trying to restrain him. Kranos frowned slightly and muttered inwardly, 15 minutes.
Because the world was affecting him negatively, he felt that the time he could use rapid thought had decreased to barely twenty minutes. Kranos sighed inwardly. If he had known that things would turn out like this, he would have waited some more to keep plotting on how to escape the world of manipulation.
Two guards who had appeared from nowhere rushed towards him to press him down and restrain him, as though he had committed a grave crime. Kranos snickered inwardly; there were still some flaws in this world which he noticed with his rapid thought active.
Normally, who would want to forcefully restrain an old man? Wouldn’t they want to treat him with care lest he got injured and died prematurely?
Eternal Hunger moved slightly and immediately the heads of both men were cleaved apart. Kranos’ children and everyone else were stunned and looked at him in horror as though they had seen a ghost.
"Father, you murdered people! Father, you are a killer!" Samuel trembled fiercely as he looked at Kranos. He couldn’t believe that the father who had brought them up in love would kill without batting an eye.
Kranos stayed silent and didn’t reply; his figure moved once again. His movements were slow due to the fact that he hadn’t yet possessed his real cultivation.
As soon as he appeared in the line of sight of another guard, his sword struck fiercely towards the guard’s ribs. The next moment, due to the force of the collision, the guard was sent reeling backwards.
1 minute, Kranos muttered inwardly, counting the time he had spent, then turned to his ’son’. "Are you still going to stop me from leaving?"
Samuel gritted his teeth fiercely and glared at Kranos. After some moments of thought, he shouted loudly, "You are not my father! You have definitely been possessed by some evil spirit or... your old age has triggered some sort of twisted perception within you!"
Kranos immediately frowned slightly; Samuel’s words seemed to contain some sort of magical force that almost entranced him for a moment. For a while there, he thought that Samuel’s last statement was true. He shook his head a little to clear his thoughts then looked at Samuel and the others.
"The longer I stay here, the more I’ll be influenced by them," Kranos realized. He couldn’t stay here any longer! He glanced at everyone, and then, without any hesitation, he turned around and rushed out.
"Quick, stop him!" one of Kranos’ children shouted.
He didn’t turn back and continued to run. From behind, he could sense some people chasing him. If only I was stronger! Kranos sighed; he could feel that his body was too weak to support him. After running a few meters, he was already out of breath.
In that moment of crisis, Kranos sighed and took a deep breath. He tried his best to calm his heart; he thought about the thing that led him to the conclusion that this wasn’t the real world.
Why are my thoughts moving so quickly?!
It was this question that led to everything. He had realized after a while that his thoughts were faster than normal at certain times. At first, he thought it was something normal, but he quickly realized that it was definitely something unique to him! He possessed a magical ability...
...
Kevin went to visit the blacksmiths soon after with his sister. Upon entering the blacksmithing room, he felt a wave of heat smack his face slightly, causing him to squint his eyes.
He turned to his sister with a frown, but seeing her calm expression, he immediately swallowed the words he wanted to say. They saw a burly, bare-chested, middle-aged elf. His beard was slightly long.
He had a huge hammer in his hand, and in front of him was a shield that he was working on. He noticed Kathryn and her brother as soon as they entered but didn’t turn his attention to them; he didn’t want to interrupt his blacksmithing process, as it would affect the end result of his craft.
Kathryn also understood this fact. She dragged her brother to wait by the side where they stayed silently and waited for him to finish. The clanging noise of a hammer hitting against a shield resounded in the room, and along with it came a wave of heat.
After waiting for a while, the blacksmith was finally done smithing the shield. He stood up, then cupped his fist towards the two royal elves in front of him and said in a polite tone, "Respect to the royal highnesses." Saying so, the man bowed slightly.
Even though he was a very important figure in the elven capital, he still had to show his respect to the royal elves as they were exceptionally rare.
Kathryn nodded at him, then said, "Not to worry, old sir, we came here to see if you could craft something for us."
"What may I do for you, Your Highnesses?" he asked, glancing at them with a puzzled look.
Kathryn turned to glance at Kevin for a moment before speaking. "My brother thought of a brilliant idea for a weapon that he could use." Saying so, she gestured towards Kevin to tell him more about how the arrows would look like.
Kevin thought for a moment. Suddenly, some inspiration flashed in his mind as though he could faintly gleam the idea behind the arrows. After all this happened, he walked up to the blacksmith and then began explaining.
...
More than fifty years had passed since bringing in the death cultivators. At this moment, Kathryn was in her chambers meditating on a few things. After a while of thinking, she stood up from her meditation mat and walked out of her chambers.
With a few strides, she had instantly appeared in a different location. Instead of the sunny environment she was at previously, with just a few strides, she had appeared at another corner of the world which was filled with snow.
