CHAPTER 114: HEAVEN AND EARTH MOVEMENT TECHNIQUE

Luka glanced through the contents of the spatial ring and was stunned. It contained unique cultivation techniques that he could tell at a glance were far from ordinary. Inside, the spatial ring was similar to a small world!

It looked like a painting and was filled with trees, mountains, and much vegetation. In some parts of the world were steles where cultivation techniques were engraved onto. The steles looked extremely ancient and emitted an enigmatic aura.

Luka was entranced by everything. As his consciousness delved deeper into the spatial ring, he suddenly discovered that he had appeared in the world of the painting. How magical! Luka was impressed inwardly.

He walked slowly towards the first stele in front of him. The stele seemed to be calling out to him, which caused him to hastily walk towards it as though he was being controlled.

Upon reaching the stele, he discovered that profound patterns were engraved onto it. After closer inspection, he discovered that it was a cultivation technique.

The patterns moved rapidly, appearing in one location one moment and in another location the next. They moved about erratically, causing Luka to be slightly dizzy. He closed his eyes shut.

However, he could still see the image of the technique engraved on the stele in his mind. He was stunned for a moment before he decided to ponder on the technique deeply since he couldn’t get rid of it.

After many hours, the technique’s name finally revealed itself to him: Heaven and Earth Spatial Movement Technique! Luka also realized that it was a divine ability which could only be performed by those with sufficient cultivation or those that had an affinity at S-grade and above!

Luka was shocked by the technique. However... "Don’t I possess an SSS-grade spatial technique?" Luka was puzzled. It seemed as though everything had been arranged for him even though it seemed like a coincidence.

Nonetheless, Luka wasn’t one to think about things too deeply. Since he had obtained them, he would definitely cultivate the technique. Luka also realized something else as he glanced at all the other steles around... Doesn’t this mean that all these steles are divine abilities??

...

Kranos had walked a few kilometers when he encountered a familiar figure; it was... himself? When he appeared in this world newly, it was this ’Kranos’ that had appeared to him claiming to be his grandson. Kranos glanced at him calmly then asked,

"Are you here to stop me as well?"

’Kranos’ shook his head, then said with a slight smile, "I’m really curious, grandpa, why did you leave father and mother?" According to his son Samuel, he had a child who was away in a boarding school for over the past years. Kranos quickly connected the dots and realized the identity of ’Kranos’.

"I left them because my path is different from theirs," Kranos replied calmly. He could faintly tell that the young boy before him was strange, but he didn’t know what was strange about him. Rapid Thoughts was still active, but he couldn’t find any flaws with the young boy.

"Path... Grandpa, you told me before that letting things go is the way of the weak. The strong should be willing to help the weak. Have you strayed from your path?"

Kranos was shocked. Memories of that quickly resurfaced in his mind; he couldn’t tell if they were genuine or fabricated by the world. His thoughts moved quickly as he thought about a lot of things in an instant. After some moments of silence, Kranos said,

"That was then... this is now. I said that when I was weak. Now I have strength, and I understand this world more from a different point of view."

Kranos’ grandson looked at him deeply as though he was pondering on his words. He then thought of something and asked, "Then, grandpa, what will you say about those you have killed? Are you right or wrong?"

Kranos once again paused for a moment, but this time he didn’t need much time to think about things like the last time. Without hesitation, he answered, "Right or wrong doesn’t matter. As long as you are in my way, then be prepared to lose your life."

As soon as he spoke those domineering words, Eternal Hunger let out a sharp sound as though it was piercing the seven heavens and nine realms.

’Kranos’ fell silent for a moment; he no longer had any words to refute Kranos. It seemed that just like before, his father was... right? Coming to this conclusion, he stared at Kranos one more time before slowly nodding.

A fierce light passed through his eyes as he shouted loudly, "In that case, what if the heavens stand against you?"

Kranos stared at the little kid with wide eyes. The heavens? Why would the heavens be in my way? Can one even tower above the heavens? Kranos’ expression changed repeatedly; he was unsure of what to do in such a situation.

Thankfully, his Rapid Thought was active, if not, he would have been completely influenced by the world of corruption.

After keeping quiet for some time, Kranos had a flash of inspiration: since the heavens were so strong, why couldn’t he be as strong?

Understanding his thoughts, ’Kranos’s figure faded. Kranos immediately felt a chill; without any hesitation, his body moved instinctively and dodged, moving to the side. Due to the fact that he hadn’t expected ’Kranos’ to attack him suddenly, he couldn’t use any time ability.

Dusting himself off from the ground, Kranos glanced at the young boy. His expression was fierce, and he had a sword that Kranos felt was familiar; it was... the Azure Sky Sword!

The sword glowed sharply as the boy’s figure faded once again. In an instant, he appeared in front of Kranos; this time, however, Kranos was prepared.

Immediately the young boy appeared in front of him, Kranos paused time, restricting everything, and his sword moved towards the boy’s neck.

Since the heavens want to stop me... why won’t I cleave the heavens? Kranos wondered internally as his sword swiftly passed through the boy’s head, decapitating him. Kranos sighed lightly and felt a strange feeling inwardly, but he didn’t ponder on it too much since it was fleeting.

Just as he was about to continue heading to the mountain, Kranos heard... footsteps? The sound was very light, and the figure walked calmly. He quickly turned in the direction, however, he was stunned; it was another... Kranos!
