Primordial God Of Time
Chapter 124: The Horrifying Raphael... Eye Of The Immortal Heavenly Dao!!!
CHAPTER 124: THE HORRIFYING RAPHAEL... EYE OF THE IMMORTAL HEAVENLY DAO!!!
Kranos was stunned, staring at the information in slight shock. He hadn’t expected that an idea, born from a mere fluke, would yield such benefits from the time system.
Taking a deep breath, his thoughts began to race. He felt he hadn’t fully explored the initial stages of cultivation; what if he could improve upon them? Would he be able to further increase the rate of time point generation?
Kranos sensed he had stumbled upon a great secret. He quickly calmed himself, however, unwilling to dwell on these thoughts now, given his limited time at the heart of the World Tree.
His mind returned to the orb inside his mind, he realized that more than five strands of time had already subconsciously engraved themselves onto the time core. Kranos once again wondered what kind of tree the World Tree was for it to be able to produce so many essences.
He decided inwardly that after cultivating the time element, he would definitely cultivate the mysterious stellar core technique that he had gotten from the Sovereign Star Sect. His thoughts moved and he quickly continued engraving his time core with strands of time.
After a few hours, the time core was already showing signs of completing. Although he was stunned, Kranos didn’t stop the process.
...
What Kranos didn’t know was that as soon as he stepped into the Dao Palace Realm using his unique cultivation method, which combined twelve golden cores, a colossal eye, seemingly encompassing all the immortal worlds, opened and gazed down.
The void cracked slightly, and thunder began to faintly rumble, as if threatening to shatter all immortal worlds. Just as the void continued to thicken and the eye searched for the one responsible for taking a piece of the Heavenly Dao, a mysterious figure appeared atop a flying beast.
The eye widened. A void creature?
Only a void creature could wander freely in the void. Furthermore, for someone to ride such a creature, that person had to be extraordinary! The eye paused, waiting for the figure to arrive. Although the figure seemed light-years away, it appeared before the eye in an instant.
A young man dressed in a plain blue robe stepped down from the creature and trod on the void as if it were solid ground. The man bowed slightly, then spoke calmly, "Master said you shouldn’t tamper with whatever happened. He will compensate you."
The eye stared at the young man in plain robes, shocked and slightly fearful, for it knew who the young man’s master was. Why would that anomaly... Raphael... want to interfere in this?
Hearing that it was Raphael who didn’t want the Eye of the Immortal Heavenly Dao to investigate, the eye dared not disagree. A thunderous voice resonated throughout the void. "Tell him I agree."
The unremarkable young man in plain robes nodded at the eye, then climbed onto the void beast and vanished into the countless light-years.
The Eye of the Immortal Heavenly Dao stared at the man’s fading silhouette in silence before a deep voice resonated in the void once again.
"What is Raphael planning?"
...
While Kranos cultivated peacefully, unaware that he had almost been targeted by the Heavenly Dao of the Immortal World, he was about to condense the seventh time core when Kathryn’s voice interrupted him.
"More than a week has passed already. Let’s go back."
Kranos slowly opened his eyes from deep meditation. He stared at Kathryn in surprise. "So much time has passed already?"
"Yes, time passes quite swiftly when cultivating," Kathryn nodded with a smile. Kranos stood up and followed her as she walked towards the glowing green portal a few meters away. Kranos didn’t realize that as soon as they left the heart of the World Tree, a leaf fell.
However, this leaf was far from ordinary, because if one looked closely, they would realize that this leaf... slowly withered.
...
Kranos felt that mysterious sensation of life once again, then reappeared in the familiar ancient hall. He glanced around and noticed they had returned to the same place. Staring at the statue of the goddess, Kranos once again felt that she was looking at him—this time, even more closely.
He didn’t dwell on it and shifted his thoughts to Kathryn, who had started walking back to her castle.
Just as they reached the castle and Kathryn bid him farewell, Kranos heard faint voices. He was slightly startled and listened closely.
"I’m telling you. There’s no need to bring those books on side professions. Return the book on array languages and formation knowledge, alchemy, blacksmithing, talismans..." The voice trailed off.
However, Kranos’s interest was piqued at the mention of array books. He was shocked; after all, this was something he had been searching for a long time.
Kranos wasn’t entirely sure they were talking about array books; he knew how rare they were. Everywhere he had gone, he hadn’t seen any. His figure moved as he used his space element to teleport, but Kranos was stunned by how fluid his teleportation was.
He could faintly feel that his mana consumption, while using the same space flash as before, was drastically reduced by more than four times! Is this one of the effects of stepping into the Dao Palace Realm using such a profound cultivation technique? Kranos suppressed his shock as he appeared in front of... Kevin?
He stared at Kevin and noticed he held a stack of books, speaking to six elders. They looked ancient and were all dressed in deep dark robes, which contrasted with their light complexions. Seeing Kranos interrupt them, Kevin looked awkward for a moment, then said to Kranos,
"Sorry that you have to see me arguing with these elders over these. They want to use these books from the royal library to teach their students, and we can’t allow that." Kevin had an apologetic tone as he explained the situation.
The elders furrowed their brows; after all, they didn’t like Kevin, a royal elf, explaining the situation to Kranos so politely, as if he were his superior.
Hearing the words "royal treasury" and "books," Kranos immediately understood that he had definitely stumbled upon the real deal. Staring at the ancient books that radiated a profound, mysterious aura, Kranos was slightly dazed. A thought also surfaced in his mind:
Why do I feel as though my luck has improved since following Kathryn?
