He didn’t refuse; he knew after causing such a big fuss, there’s bound to be some discussion.

"Right at your Thunder God eSports Hall. Our leader says it’s just a personal conversation." The soldier laughed.

It was the first time he’d seen his leader interacting with a young person in such a way!

"Alright, lead the way." Lu Xiaobu nodded.

As they arrived at Thunder God eSports Hall, the group entered a meeting room protected by soldiers.

"Xiaobu, you don’t mind if I call you that, do you?" An elderly man with white hair, dressed in casual clothes but standing straight-backed, smiled at Lu Xiaobu.

"Of course, you’re an elder." Lu Xiaobu smiled and nodded, "Would you like some tea? I’ll have someone prepare it."

"Kid! Sure!" The elder was first surprised, then laughed heartily, "My surname is Wu, the Wu from martial arts."

Lu Xiaobu was declaring his initiative here.

"Hello, Grandpa Wu." Lu Xiaobu laughed.

"You, kid, sure know how to climb up the pole! Okay! I’m happy today, I’ll accept calling you my wayward grandson—er, my extravagant grandson!" Grandpa Wu was clearly delighted.

"Then I won’t hold back!" Lu Xiaobu smiled faintly, picked up a cannon and blasted it over, "Eat your cannon!"

"Huh?!"

Grandpa Wu was dumbfounded on the spot, "What the heck?! How did your cannon get over here?!"

Everyone knows the rules of chess, right? The cannon has to skip one and hit one!

This straight ahead move, what’s up with that?!

"I’m using anti-aircraft cannon." Lu Xiaobu said with a dead-serious look.

"You!" The guard was fuming mad, what nonsense anti-aircraft cannon, isn’t this just being unruly!

"Little Yin." Grandpa Wu raised a hand to stop the guard, then moved his horse: "Bring the horse."

He was curious what the kid was playing at.

"Eat!" Lu Xiaobu chuckled, picked up a pawn, and directly consumed Grandpa Wu’s soldier!

"Pfft!" The guard nearly spat out a mouthful of blood!

A three-year-old knows that pawns move step-by-step and can’t retreat.

You just jumped three steps over, what kind of nonsense is this?!

"What’s this?" Grandpa Wu wasn’t angry, rather he was thoughtful.

"Special Soldier." Lu Xiaobu chuckled again, continuing his dead-serious nonsense!

"..." The guard was on the verge of a breakdown, can it even be played like this?

"Keep going." Grandpa Wu continued with a step-by-step move—moving the cannon.

"Eat!" Lu Xiaobu took the horse, stepped over in a ’目’ shape, and consumed Grandpa Wu’s cannon.

"Thousand-mile horse!" Lu Xiaobu didn’t even wait to be asked, he volunteered the explanation.

"Leader, we shouldn’t keep playing! Lu Xiaobu is plainly just fooling around!" The guard was beyond annoyed.

Is this still chess?!

First it’s anti-aircraft cannon, then special soldier, and now a thousand-mile horse, you’re playing with two stupid people, huh!

"Don’t speak!" Grandpa Wu’s eyes were growing brighter, he seemed to understand what Lu Xiaobu was getting at: "Continue!"

"Eat!" Lu Xiaobu picked up Grandpa Wu’s ’guard’ and ate Grandpa Wu’s general.

"This is..." Lu Xiaobu was just about to explain when Grandpa Wu suddenly burst into laughter, "I get it, this must be your long-trained spy, right?!"

"Impressive! Impressive!" Lu Xiaobu laughed immediately.

"Hahaha, very interesting, very interesting indeed!" Grandpa Wu laughed heartily again, "Alright, this time I lost, wait until I go back and study, then I’ll challenge you again!"

With that, Grandpa Wu left with a big laugh!

He understood, he understood what Lu Xiaobu wanted to say!

This Lu Xiaobu really is a genius!

Only the guard was completely baffled.

What was Grandpa Wu doing?!
