Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!
Chapter 631: Fighting against a Pillar
CHAPTER 631: FIGHTING AGAINST A PILLAR
"Sophia Murphy, I like your skills. How about you hand them over to me, just like your father did?" A sinister voice rang in Sophia’s ears as the man lunged forward fiercely and pushed her down by the chest, slamming her against the floor.
But then he frowned and looked to his right.
"You dodged that?"
Sophia sneered. "What do you think? It seems that the strongest of them is just this."
"Oh. Then show me your skills, Sophia Murphy."
Sophia leaped toward him and, for a brief moment, disappeared. "As you wish." Appearing at his side, she swung one of her daggers toward his face, aiming to cut him.
He dodged it by a hair, only receiving a small scratch, but then he was kicked in the stomach, sending him flying backward.
At the same time, a second person appeared behind him and struck him with his sword, but the sword became firmly lodged in one of his hands as he smiled.
"Your skills are also of interest to me, Wilfred Murphy." The man quickly bent his body backward, and his powerful vampire claws sought to cut Wilfred down from above.
But then, Sophia appeared from the side and stabbed one of her daggers into the palm of his clawed hand, then brought it down sharply.
Thanks to it being a Saint Weapon, she managed to cut him and inflict a huge wound, allowing Wilfred to attack from the other side.
In a second, between the two of them, they managed to attack him more than six times, opening different wounds on his body, until he made some movements with his arms and forced both Sophia and Wilfred to jump back.
Sophia frowned when she saw her dagger trembling slightly. ’It was just a blow with his elbow; it shouldn’t have had much power,’ she thought.
This guy’s power had exceeded her expectations.
The man standing there smiled coldly, blood on his body.
"It seems you’ve been expecting a different outcome than what our powers have already determined. But... too bad." He smiled coldly as his body began to regenerate rapidly. "My name is Roy Mustang, the Third Pillar, an Immortal Vampire."
About 30 seconds later, his body finished recovering.
Sophia frowned, remembering what the human woman had told her earlier.
’Vampires no longer have immortality, and super regeneration takes between 1 and 2 minutes to take effect... So he’s one of those vampires who are using the lives of others to regenerate.’
He was trash for doing that, but...
Sophia smiled coldly. So what if they used the lives of others to regenerate themselves? Everyone looks out for their own interests, but all those idiots who fell for the nonsense of this religion were looking out for the interests of others and let themselves be fooled by the desire for quick power, knowing that in this life nothing is free.
That being the case, they get what they deserve.
"Roy Mustang, huh." She sneered. "I don’t care if you’re an immortal vampire or not. You’re going to die." She pointed her dagger at him, and his body seemed to flicker.
She quickly approached Roy and attacked him at the same speed as her brother on the other side. It was a successive movement created by both siblings, opening wounds all over his body again and again.
Roy Mustang frowned. ’They disappear and reappear when they’re close... Is this Sophia’s clairvoyance? I can’t think of a way that clairvoyance could have that ability...’ He endured the pain of being constantly attacked by Saint Weapons and focused his attention on trying to predict them or outrun them.
He wanted to catch them.
The first time, he tried to grab their weapons, but they managed to deflect and hit part of his arm. Even so, his healing was just as effective, and after four attempts, he understood their patterns.
"...Up." His two hands moved at high speed in two different positions, but in the same direction. Both were soon firmly grasped by a dagger and a sword.
They managed to pierce the skin a little, but they couldn’t reach the bone.
He had finally caught them.
"Tsk, you slippery little bastards with good weapons, it looks like I finally got you." Roy smiled coldly and allowed his wounds to heal once more.
But then, Sophia made a move with her other hand.
When Wilfred saw this, he dropped his sword to launch a martial arts attack from below, using his legs to try to knock them to the ground.
Sophia’s free hand summoned her daggers scattered around the place at high speed toward her. They flew quickly, and in an instant, Roy had dangerous attacks from behind and a powerful attack from below, destabilizing him.
Even so, he seemed to smile at these childish games.
"If you can’t get him with your power enhanced by that set of weapons, do you think they’re a threat?" He pushed Sophia aside, turned around, and his power materialized in front of him, stopping the daggers coming toward him.
The attack from below didn’t even destabilize him, but it bought Wilfred enough time to flee with his weapon.
Roy finally frowned. ’Did they just want to run away?’ he thought, but when he looked up, he was shocked.
"..." For a moment, he didn’t know what to say.
He was surrounded by all the elders of the Murphy Clan.
"...Not bad." he said, looking at Sophia.
She smiled and summoned her daggers back to her hands. Then she held one up, pointing it at him.
"Roy Mustang. Since you dared to attack my father and steal his abilities, I hope your mind can withstand what your body should be able to. Because I will make you suffer the greatest of tortures."
Gripping her dagger tightly, Sophia, who looked as if she was about to leap toward Roy, suddenly vanished into thin air.
At the same time, the elders roared, "Kill this bastard! Everyone at full strength!"
Suddenly, those with abilities unleashed them, three in total.
The first of them was the Elder, Sophia’s grandfather. His exotic ability, characteristic of the Murphy Clan, seemed to create a plane over the entire battlefield, increasing some of his allies’ stats.
Additionally, his hands suddenly transformed into two strange whips that grew in size and had the peculiar ability to penetrate this strange domain and emerge wherever he wanted.
