CHAPTER 251: CHAPTER 203 YIJINJING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000 CALLS FINALLY BRING IT FORTH!_3
"Among the ’Eight Skills’," Returning Mountain Technique "," Blood Transformation Palm "," Cloud Mist Nine Transformations "," Rain Covering Sword Technique "," Silkworm Silk Saber "," Coiling Dragon Stick "," Tuo Ta Skill "," Sky Blue Soaring Technique ", include Inner Strength, Hand Technique, movement technique, Swordsmanship, Saber Skill, Staff Technique, Cross Refining, and Qinggong, approximately at the level of ’Xing Yi Quan’ and ’Hua Shan Sword’, equivalent to ’Xin Level One Star’ martial arts in ’Derivation Skill’."
"As for the ’Four Secrets’, though I have not seen them, I have heard some from Fu Zhe and others, who claim my ’Xing Yi Quan’ barely meets the ’Earth Level’ threshold, roughly on par with the Earth-level Secret Scripture ’Fierce Dragon Technique’ practiced by the third-level ’Black Armor Army’ soldiers in Danhu Royal City and the Earth-level Secret Scripture ’Five Elements Technique’ practiced by the third-level ’Green-maned Riders’ in Hunxi Royal City."
Danhu Royal City!
Hunxi Royal City!
Each of these two royal cities has four levels of elite troops—
Hundred Beasts Army, Black Armor Army, Golden Armored Army, Black Dragon Heavy Cavalry, this is Danhu Royal City!
City Guard Army, Green-maned Riders, Red Fire Light Cavalry, Black Dragon Heavy Cavalry, this is Hunxi Royal City.
These four levels—
The lowest level trains in ’Human-level Secret Manual’!
The third level trains in ’Lower Earth-level Secret Manual’!
The second level trains in ’Upper Earth-level Secret Scripture’!
The first level trains in ’Heavenly Secret Book’!
"’Xin Level One Star’, like ’Xing Yi Quan’ and ’Hua Shan Sword’, is equivalent to the ’Lower Earth-level Secret Manual’ in the Six Great Royal Cities."
"Regarding the ’Upper Earth-level Secret Scripture’, I have not seen it, unsure if it is ’Gale Swift Sword’ and ’Yangwu Swordsmanship’ which are ’Xin Level Three Stars’ martial arts, or ’Tai Chi Boxing’ and ’Purple Mist Divine Skill’ which are ’Xin Level Five Stars’ martial arts."
But no matter which kind, in these seven days, quite a few high and low Earth-level Secret Scriptures created by Yan Chuan have emerged, rivaling even the centuries-old historical family of Nanxiong City, the Baili Family.
Yan Chuan alone is comparable to a whole clan!
However.
Compared to ’Yi Jin Jing’, all these martial arts are insignificant.
In the first round of the main competition, Yan Chuan’s greatest gain in "Derivation Skill" will surely be—
...
[Task One]
[Research Project Name: Yi Jin Jing (Difficulty: Geng★★★)]
[Inspiration: 100]
[Completing the task grants ’Experience +150000’, ’Spiritual +150000’.]
...
"Eight months!"
’Yi Jin Jing’ is finally completed!"
On the night after the first round of the ’Jian Province Competition’ ended, Yan Chuan, casually flipping through books in the Cangwu Department’s Collection Room, suddenly had a stroke of Spiritual inspiration, and the last point of inspiration for ’Yi Jin Jing’ was fulfilled.
[Task One: Yi Jin Jing]!
Progress is complete!
Research completed!
...
"Yi Jin, as people call it, means the transformation of muscle and bone, stemming from what is endowed at birth. There are those with loose muscles, tense muscles, weak muscles, shortened muscles, strong muscles, relaxed muscles, and smoothed muscles, all different, yet all stem from what is inherited at birth. Loose muscles lead to illness, tense muscles to emaciation, weak muscles to flabbiness, shortened muscles to decay, strong muscles to robustness, relaxed muscles to growth, smoothed muscles to hardness, and balanced muscles to health. If a person is without inner clarity but has barriers, without outer firmness but has hindrances, how can they enter the path? Thus, one must first transform the muscles to strengthen the body, fortify the inside to support the outside. Otherwise, the path is hard to achieve."
’Yi Jin Jing’ progress is complete, and at that moment, Yan Chuan had an enlightenment. Since his cultivation journey, countless insights, innumerable accumulations, and rich foundations all erupted at this moment, overflowing inspiration allowed Yan Chuan to smoothly follow the ’Yi Jin Jing’ framework, sorting, integrating, and deriving it.
Hard and soft!
Illusion and reality!
Changes!
Yin and Yang!
’Yi Jin Jing’ encompasses many ultimate truths of the world, contains many martial arts principles.
Fortunately, Yan Chuan has profound foundations.
’Hard and soft’ originates from ’Cheng Family Boxing’, pervading the boxing technique throughout.
’Illusion and reality’ arise from ’Hua Shan Sword’, full of danger, making reality hard to guess.
’Changes’ emerge from ’Divine Movement Transformation’, with countless transformations, unfathomable.
’Yin and Yang’ are born from ’Tai Chi Boxing Skill’, encompassing hard and soft, illusion and reality, changes, illustrating the ultimate truth of yin and yang.
These foundations!
These accumulations!
Until now, have all become the nourishment for ’Yi Jin Jing’, Yan Chuan realized, and in his mind, the overall structure of ’Yi Jin Jing’ quickly emerged, organized.
This is inspiration!
Furthermore, using these years of accumulation to fill and enrich it, an ultimate divine skill has already taken shape—
"Yi Jin, the word ’transform’ is profound indeed. ’Yi’ refers to the Dao of yin and yang. Yi is the transformation itself. The transformation of ’Yi’, though existing in yin and yang, in fact resides within people. Playing with the sun and moon in a pot, mastering yin and yang in the palm. Therefore, the elements to be transformed lie within people, transforming illusion to reality, hard to soft, stillness to movement. Altering rise and fall through elevation, adjusting pace between slow and fast transitions, managing direction amidst forward and backward movement, turning danger to safety, chaos to calm, misfortune to fortune, perish to survival, turning and reversing fate and elements of the world, all are the achievements of transformation. As for the muscle and bone of the human body, can they not be transformed?"
Yan Chuan developed ’Yi Jin Jing’, without borrowing from the ’Buddha’, without adding ’Buddhist Scripture’, purely from martial arts’ principles, disregarding ’self-form’, ’human form’, discarding all Buddhist and Zen sect ideologies, pure to the ultimate extent, purely martial.
Perhaps this somewhat impacts the quality level of ’Yi Jin Jing’, but compared to the ’original Buddhist version’ in "Heavenly Dragon Eight Parts" and "Swordsmen", Yan Chuan’s self-created version, devoid of elements like Buddhism and belief, lowers the cultivation threshold but also loses some esoteric elements. The quality level of ’Yi Jin Jing’ might be reduced overall, but it is still a supreme divine skill.
’Yi Jin Jing’ is truly a supreme treasure in martial arts, with original cultivation being very challenging, requiring one to break through the notions of "self-form, human-form", with no thought of practicing martial arts in the heart.
