The chicken soup in his mouth was simply the ultimate delicacy.

Chen Yan ate while sitting on the bed, and after finishing, he placed the bowls and chopsticks on the nightstand, turned his head, and saw Lu Sisi leaning her cheek on one hand, watching him, though her eyelids were drooping.

Chen Yan’s heart softened. He got up, took Lu Sisi’s hand, pulled her onto the bed, and hugged her into the blankets.

"Sleep, you’ve had a tough few days too. I’m already safely home, there won’t be any more dangerous situations, so you should take a nap too."

Lu Sisi hugged Chen Yan tightly with both hands, shaking slightly in her body.

Chen Yan looked down to find the girl clinging to his chest, crying.

Chen Yan was startled, then immediately realized Lu Sisi’s current emotions, and gently stroked her hair.

Even though while he was unconscious, Lu Sisi had washed him... but girls are not as strong, so she probably couldn’t have scrubbed him clean.
