"Did you go abroad because of me and Wen Xiao?"

Listening to Jiang Cheng’s apologetic question on the phone, Ye Qiu replied with a light smile, "A little bit, but more so because I wanted to go out and see the world, to learn the highly-praised culinary skills here. So, there’s no need for you to feel burdened."

"Will you come back then?" Jiang Cheng asked cautiously.

"I suppose I will, but I’m more comfortable staying here. Even if I do return, it would just be for a short while before coming back, unless there’s some culinary skill worth spending time to learn."

"Alright, if you ever come back, let me know."

"Sure, but I think you and Han Fei should find time to come over here. A while back, I met a Mr. Charlie who I heard is the General Manager of EA Entertainment. He’s quite interested in your video game company after I introduced it to him. Would you like to talk?"

"EA? Really that EA?" Jiang Cheng suddenly raised his voice in disbelief, "The General Manager of EA is indeed named Charlie. How did you meet him?"

"Fate, I guess. I opened a private restaurant here, and he just happens to be a member."

"He’s really willing to meet with us? Our little company could catch his eye?" Jiang Cheng could hardly believe this tremendous surprise, which washed away the sadness of their recent disconnection.

"You should really thank me for this. Mr. Charlie said he’s willing to give you a chance because of me."

At this moment, Jiang Cheng became suspicious: "He doesn’t have any designs on you, does he?"

"What are you thinking? Mr. Charlie loves his wife; how could he have designs on me? If anything, it’s for my cooking skills. So, what do you think? Should I arrange a meeting for you?"

"Yes, Han Fei and I will fly to you immediately." After hanging up the phone, Jiang Cheng was even more excited and also very nervous. Although their video game company had sold a few small games in the past two years, they had always been playing it small.

He and Han Fei didn’t lack the intent to venture into major online games, but they lacked funds and operational means. If EA was willing to invest or co-develop, it would be fantastic.

However, to impress Mr. Charlie from EA, they needed to offer much more.
