    ''Come to think of it, I''ve never met a fast zombie besides the Tier 2 one, I guess their base abilities are crap.'' I smiled, thinking of the boost my titles gave my stats, especially Perfect Organism, which doubled when I reached Tier 2.

    After several seconds of charging, a beam that looked like a certain anime with characters that screamed every time they leveled up flew towards the zombies.

    Then it passed through them and faded from sight.

    ''Eh, it seemed to be strong, why didn''t it explode or something?'' I watched as Reziel climbed down the building and stood on my right, her mind quiet.

    Then a wave of air pushed me back, and then I heard it.

    It was horrifying, with nails being dragged across a chalkboard, only a lot louder, and thunderous booms echoed from the direction I shot the beam in.

    Then I looked at her with one expression on my face.

    ''Run!'' We both wheeled around and ran, becoming a literal blur as we hopped from building to building, trying to get away.

    The last I saw of the humans and Rachel, they were entering their cheating space, then the skies darkened.

    And though they were dark before, they were darker than an abyss now.

    That''s when a screaming wind raced out blowing Reziel and I several hundred feet away.

    We landed without difficulty, and just as I was about to comment it wasn''t so bad, a car slammed into me.

    I went flying down the street, taking out several cars as we went along with a few zombies who were unfortunate enough to become meat patties on the road.

    I climbed out of the dented truck, and looked up and blanched.

    Afterwards, the world seemed to be in upheaval and all my energy drained, and then my exoskeleton cracked on several places from the wave of force that washed over me.
