CHAPTER 641: CHAPTER 558: ONCE MORE

Ever since their daughter returned that day and learned those things, the old couple had been whispering in private. They both felt this matter couldn’t be unrelated to that child.

But now, without evidence, they didn’t dare to directly confront Li Si about it.

Besides, if the person really was in her hands, pushing too hard might backfire, and any rebellion could ruin everything.

So they tolerated it, thinking perhaps one day things would take a turn for the better. Surely the other party wouldn’t keep their eldest locked up forever.

It wasn’t that they were too superstitious, but rather like grasping at straws during desperate times; they even consulted a fortune-telling master who assured them the person was fine and would return home soon.

Weiwei hugged Mrs. Tian Sr.’s shoulders and shook her head, "No!"

Right now, her mind was completely occupied with Yin Xian—she hadn’t even had the chance to go searching for Li Si!

Mrs. Tian Sr. pressed her, "Then what’s going on? You’ve never been able to keep secrets since you were a child; everything shows right on your face!"

Weiwei replied with self-deprecation, "Grandma, Yin Xian is going on a matchmaking date, and the woman is Leng Mohao’s ex-wife from the Leng Family!"

Because of Li Si, Weiwei had been paying extra attention to the Leng Family. When she saw that woman today, she didn’t immediately remember who she was.

It wasn’t until Weiwei, in a burst of agitation, spilled juice on the other woman and heard the name slip from Mrs. Yin’s lips.

From the looks of it, Mrs. Yin seemed pretty pleased this time. No wonder—the other woman’s family background was displayed right there, something Weiwei couldn’t compete with at all.

Mrs. Tian Sr. froze upon hearing this, finding the situation quite surprising.

Weiwei had just returned to the country and encountered Yin Xian matchmaking straight away.

Still, as a senior, there were certain things she felt obligated to advise. She couldn’t let Weiwei remain stubborn.

She patted Weiwei’s hand and counselled, "Weiwei, listen to Grandma. In life, you must look forward! You and Yin Xian may have had fate but no destiny—don’t dwell on it anymore. Now that you’re back, don’t leave again. Let your aunt help you look for suitable men, and just give it a chance. You and Yin Xian truly aren’t a match!"

Weiwei didn’t understand these things while abroad, but domestically, they had heard plenty about Yin Xian. His career was flourishing, making him an enviable golden bachelor.

And after going through so much, how could the two of them possibly reconcile?

The Yin Family also had high expectations for a daughter-in-law now. Weiwei was still young; why burden herself unnecessarily?

"Grandma, you don’t need to say it. I understand it all in my heart. I just couldn’t get over it when I suddenly saw him! It’s late now; you should rest early. Tomorrow, I’ll find a way to meet Li Si. Even if I have to kneel before her, I’ll find out what happened to my mother!"

Weiwei firmly believed her mother’s disappearance was tied to Li Si, so she secretly resolved to endure whatever nasty words Li Si might say. Her father was unreliable, and Yin Xian was busy flirting with another woman—how could he care about family matters now? At this point, she could only depend on herself. The most important thing was to first find her mother.

Mrs. Tian Sr. hesitated, recalling the grudges between the two families. She let out a sigh in her heart.

She couldn’t help herself from offering advice: "Weiwei, your aunt asked that child about it, but she didn’t admit anything. If you really want to go, I won’t stop you. But let me say something fair—your mother did, indeed, mess up a few things. When you speak to her, stay calm. To be honest, it was our family that wronged hers."

Leaving aside donating bone marrow to Kesong back then, just consider the video incident. The impact it had on that child was no small matter. Let’s just hope things take a turn for the better.

Weiwei scoffed, dismissive, "Even if my mom made mistakes, wasn’t that her aunt? I think after marrying into the Leng Family, she just got cocky and started showing off! What’s there to boast about?"

"But don’t worry, Grandma. I still know how to gauge things. For my mom’s sake, I can bow my head when necessary!"

Seeing her attitude, Mrs. Tian Sr. didn’t want to say more.

What none of them anticipated was that all their scheming would be for nothing when the time came. They couldn’t even manage to meet Li Si.

Li Si stepped out of the bathroom after her shower but didn’t see Leng Mochen in the bedroom. She immediately knew he must still be in the study.

Using a towel to dry her hair until it was halfway dry, she glanced at her reflection in the vanity mirror. They say women are most alluring right after a bath. With a playful smile, she couldn’t resist getting up to go find him.

Li Si pushed open the study door and stepped inside. Leng Mochen was on the phone. When he saw her enter, a trace of a smile flickered across his normally composed face.

Li Si tiptoed to the desk, pouted at him, and sent him a look of reproach.

"Alright! Hmm!" Leng Mochen ended the call, then teased her, "Why aren’t you asleep yet?"

Clearly, she’d said she was going to sleep earlier. Had she changed her mind?

She blinked at him mischievously. "Can’t sleep with thoughts on my mind! You’re still busy?"

Leng Mochen smelled the lingering fragrance of her bath and watched her fair, softly radiant cheeks that seemed as tender as silk. His body responded naturally, but outwardly, he merely shrugged, closed his documents, and stood up helplessly. "With you personally inviting me, busy or not, I’m done now!"

The study wasn’t suitable, but the bedroom surely was.

They exchanged knowing smiles, and Li Si wore a triumphant grin as she led him back to the room.

Her mind was still scheming—not afraid of questioning him to uncover what was really going on.

Even after her clothes were shed, she kept grilling him about what had happened.

Leng Mochen resorted to action, leaving her without the energy to think about anything else.

Li Si panted slightly under his embrace, her hands bracing against his chest. "Leng Mochen, you’re definitely hiding something from me!"

"Not at all!"

"Ah!" His forceful movements elicited gasps from her. Jiang Fan was in the guest room, and though their villa had good soundproofing, she didn’t dare make too much noise.

She couldn’t help but inhale sharply and complain softly, "Go easy! Ugh... Hmm..."

Despite his rough handling causing her some pain, there was a certain tingling pleasure mixed in, leaving her unable to resist.

He sealed her protesting lips with his, letting out a quiet sigh. Even after all their times together, he still couldn’t get enough—she was his irresistible addiction.

After an intense session, Li Si collapsed limply, curling her toes as she lay on her back, him still atop her. Annoyed, she punched his shoulder hard, "Get off! You’re too heavy!"

Soon after, Li Si silently regretted her actions. Her movements caused her to cry out softly, pleading, "I really can’t take any more..."

No more!

"Still want to know what I’m hiding from you? One more round, and I’ll tell you!" Leng Mochen stared at her flushed and tempting face.

Li Si gritted her teeth. She really wanted to know. "Fine. But you better stick to your word and not go back on it!"

"Of course!" Leng Mochen replied confidently.

Unfortunately, if Leng Mochen truly didn’t want to share something, no amount of coaxing would get it out.

In the end, she didn’t learn anything useful, but someone thoroughly enjoyed himself, leaving her completely drained.
