If you still consider yourself my sister, if you’re still part of the Zhou family, then move aside. Fengming subconsciously avoided her gaze, suddenly feeling an indescribable discomfort and awkwardness. He thought he should say something now, perhaps ask her if it hurt or say ’sorry’ or something like that, but it was as if his tongue weighed a ton and he couldn’t even move his lips.

Zhou Jingyi thought he might say something, but when not even a single word came, her heart felt a chill, and she was on the verge of tears again.

"Do I really annoy you that much? Shi Fengming, what did I do wrong for you to treat me this way? I just want to stay by your side to care for you, to watch you recover. Why won’t you even give me that chance? Am I really so worthless in your heart!"

Her heart sour, Zhou Jingyi also covered her face and ran out, crying.

Fengming, however, was completely stunned as if struck by lightning, surprised and unable to come to his senses for a long while.
