Rebirth: Divorcing the Billionaire
Chapter 180 - 178: Send Him to the Police Station
CHAPTER 180: CHAPTER 178: SEND HIM TO THE POLICE STATION
A server approached with a tray, interrupting the tense atmosphere. "Miss, your pure juice is here."
After setting it down, the server scurried away.
Si Yuhuan picked up the juice glass and sniffed it—very sour orange juice. He raised his eyebrows. "Coming here, not drinking alcohol or picking up men, but drinking juice? You really don’t see them as human, do you?"
He then had Yan Qing swap it for strong liquor and filled Jian Xi’s glass. "Drink this. Otherwise, how could it possibly fit your trampy image of playing around with men?"
Jian Xi was infuriated by his derogatory remarks. This man was clearly here just to spite her.
SMACK—
She knocked Si Yuhuan’s hand away. "What I drink is none of your business, is it?"
Thinking of the child she was carrying, and how he was now forcing her to drink hard liquor—whether Si Yuhuan knew the truth or not—Jian Xi just wanted to beat him up.
"Si Yuhuan, you’re nothing but a total asshole."
After hitting him, Jian Xi grabbed her purse and stormed out, seething with anger.
Everyone turned to look at Si Yuhuan. Could the wealthiest man actually be scolded?
"What are you looking at? Haven’t you ever seen a couple argue?"
Wan Yu rolled her eyes. Director Si, how narcissistic can you be? Have you forgotten you’re divorced already?! But she held back.
She quickly urged everyone to go back to what they were doing and act invisible.
Si Yuhuan, angry, took it out on Wan Yu, pointing a finger at her in warning. "Don’t bring her to places like this in the future."
With that, he also hurried off to chase Jian Xi.
"Seriously, Si Yuhuan, are you out of your mind?" Wan Yu fumed, hands on her hips.
She was dragged back inside. One doesn’t just stand up to the wealthiest man.
***
Jian Xi drove, noticing Si Yuhuan stubbornly following her. A cold smirk touched her lips.
Si Yuhuan flashed his lights several times, but Jian Xi didn’t stop.
She drove straight to the police station. Upon entering, she pointed at Si Yuhuan. "Officer, I want to report him! This disgusting pervert is stalking me!"
The police officer glanced at Si Yuhuan, feeling a headache coming on, but still proceeded with a routine inquiry in the interest of justice.
"Director Si, you’re making things very difficult for us," the officer said.
Si Yuhuan’s face darkened. She actually dared...
"Si Yuhuan, I’ll let it slide this time. But next time, I’ll sue you," Jian Xi stated.
As she walked past him, she didn’t forget to remind the police, "This kind of person might have an antisocial personality disorder. It’s very dangerous for a vulnerable woman like me to be stalked by him. Please, officers, give *someone* a stern warning so he learns his lesson and stops fantasizing about people he has no right to."
The police officer, flushed with embarrassment, looked helplessly at Si Yuhuan. "Director Si, you heard her. Let’s not have this happen again."
Jian Xi tossed her long, wavy hair, got into her car, and sped off, slamming the accelerator.
"Jian Xi—!" Si Yuhuan was blocked by the police and couldn’t follow, his anger boiling over.
Watching Si Yuhuan in the rearview mirror, a smirk played on Jian Xi’s red lips as she pressed the accelerator even harder.
Wan Yu was worried about her and called.
"Sis, are you okay?"
Jian Xi scoffed. "I sent him to the police station."
"What?!" Wan Yu burst into laughter upon hearing the truth.
She clapped her hands, ecstatic.
"Great! That’s fantastic, Xixi! You’re a goddess in my eyes! Teaching him a lesson was absolutely the right thing to do. I support you! You’re already broken up, and he still wants to win you back through some ’wife-chasing crematorium’ drama by being shameless? Give me a break! Let that bastard stay far away!"
"Exactly!" Jian Xi hung up, an inexplicable emptiness settling in her heart.
Feeling a bit overly dramatic, she stepped on the accelerator and drove to the riverside to clear her head.
Si Yuhuan was repeatedly warned before being let go.
Si Junyan’s assistant, who had come to deliver something to Si Junyan, spotted Si Yuhuan’s car and cheerfully approached to greet him. However, Si Yuhuan, fuming, brushed past without even recognizing him.
"Director Si—" The assistant’s outstretched hand froze mid-air, so awkward he wished the ground would swallow him whole.
He scratched the back of his head. Hearing a police officer call him, he hurried inside.
Seeing the thoroughly disheveled Si Junyan, the assistant delivered the items but couldn’t resist saying, "Second Young Master, I just saw Director Si at the police station."
"What? Big Brother came here?" Si Junyan asked, his face lighting up with hope as he eagerly sought details.
He knew it. As a blood member of the Si Family, even if Big Brother didn’t want to bother with him, Old Master Si wouldn’t just sit idly by.
The assistant found it difficult to say, "Second Young Master, I don’t think Director Si came to pull strings to bail you out."
"Then what could it be? Would Big Brother come to the police station for no reason? Are you an idiot? Go find out immediately when I can go home!"
"Yes, yes, yes!" The assistant was terrified and hurried to find out.
He returned shortly, a wry smile on his face. "Second Young Master, Director Si followed Miss Jian here and was warned for tailing her..."
"Damn it! He actually came to the police station for a woman!"
Coming here was one thing, but he didn’t even glance at me! We’re cousins, after all!
Remembering what that person had said, Si Junyan clenched his fists tightly, his eyes blazing with intense hatred.
Since you’re merciless, don’t blame me for being ruthless!
Just because Si Yuhuan hadn’t noticed Si Junyan’s assistant didn’t mean Yan Qing had missed him.
Yan Qing, who had rushed over after hearing the news, waited until the car smoothly merged into traffic before saying, "Director Si, I saw the Second Young Master’s assistant at the entrance just now. You brushed past him; he seemed to want to say something to you."
"Say what? That his master got what he deserved for insisting on provoking that damned woman?"
"Let him cool off in there and reflect on why his pig brain keeps making mistakes!"
Si Yuhuan was seething, his face as dark as the bottom of a soot-covered pot.
The first time in his life he’d been played by a woman! Did he look like some creep who stalks women? Damn that woman! Not only does she fool around with other men, but she also completely disregards him. It’s too much!
Yan Qing could feel his boss’s fury radiating from behind and instinctively hunched his shoulders. "Shall I take you back to the old family home?"
Si Yuhuan didn’t speak, which Yan Qing took as tacit consent.
「The old family home.」
Old Master Si was already preparing for bed.
Suddenly, Si Junyan’s assistant rushed in, knelt, and pleaded, "Old Master Si, please, you must save our Second Young Master! He’s been falsely accused by Miss Jian and thrown in jail!"
"What?!" Upon hearing this, Old Master Si seethed with rage. He clutched his heart, struggling to breathe, and nearly fainted on the spot.
The assistant was terrified and didn’t dare provoke him further.
But thinking of the benefits Si Junyan had promised, he gritted his teeth. "Old Master Si, Second Young Master knows you dote on Miss Jian and cherish the Eldest Young Master, but he can’t stay in jail any longer!"
As he spoke, he presented a stack of photographs. They showed Si Junyan looking miserable and disheveled, his body covered in bruises and wounds.
"Look! The people in there are all hardened criminals! Second Young Master can’t hold on much longer. The Eldest Young Master doesn’t care at all. Right now, you’re the only one who can save Second Young Master!"
Previously, Old Master Si wouldn’t have believed it, but now he hesitated. After all, he had seen for himself how displeased Si Yuhuan had been with Si Junyan recently.
"Alright, I understand. You go back first and wait for my news."
