CHAPTER 339: CHAPTER 338: XIAO BAI AND JIANG XIAOXIAO

The next morning, as soon as Wan Chu’er got out of bed, she received a call from Jiang Kechu.

"Come downstairs."

Lin Yufei and Mai Qiqi, still asleep in the dormitory, watched Wan Chu’er tiptoe to the balcony. Looking down, she saw Jiang Kechu’s car parked downstairs, with him leaning against the hood, looking languid yet dazzling.

Some early-rising girls leaving the dormitory just happened to see Jiang Kechu and couldn’t help blushing, stealing glances over and over.

Wan Chu’er pursed her lips with a smile and quickly went back to dress and freshen up, grabbing her bag before heading down.

"I’ll take you out for breakfast, then bring you back in time for class," Jiang Kechu said as he took her bag with one hand and wrapped his other arm around her the moment he saw Wan Chu’er.

"Sounds good."

Twenty minutes later, Jiang Kechu took her deep into an alley where they could see the steam rising from a breakfast stall seated with two or three people.

"This spot’s snacks are authentic, they’ve been here for over a decade. I used to eat here a lot when I was a student."

"Then I must try it out."

In her previous life, Jiang Kechu had never taken her here, Wan Chu’er thought to herself.

Chatting, they walked up to the stall, noticing the owner was a man in his fifties and there was also a young woman who looked like his daughter.

Mai Qiqi clenched her teeth, feeling their early morning display of affection was just too much.

After the morning class, Jiang Kechu was already waiting downstairs at the academic building. Students, upon seeing Wan Chu’er happily following Jiang Kechu, inquired and learned he was her boyfriend, voices of envy echoing among the boys and girls.

Wan Chu’er had no classes in the afternoon, so the two left the school directly; after a hearty meal outside, they went to watch a movie.

Unexpectedly, they encountered Xiao Bai and Jiang Xiaoxiao at the cinema.

Wan Chu’er and Jiang Kechu had just finished watching a movie and were heading out, when they bumped into Xiao Bai and Jiang Xiaoxiao queuing for the next screening.

On the brink of disaster, yet he still dared to be glib, Wan Chu’er watched on as if waiting for a show.

Jiang Kechu sneered at him and strode forward, "Jiang Xiaoxiao, come with me." Then, he left the cinema.

Knowing that the elder brother was angry, Jiang Xiaoxiao’s shoulders slouched as she bowed her head and followed Jiang Kechu out.

Seeing her pitiful state tugged at Xiao Bai’s heartstrings. He shoved his snacks into Wan Chu’er’s hands and chased after them.

"Jiang Kechu, if you have a problem, take it up with me."

They reached the parking lot, and Jiang Kechu opened the car door, gesturing for his sister to get in.
