Chapter 605 - 603: Did You Break Up?
CHAPTER 605: CHAPTER 603: DID YOU BREAK UP?
Hearing Chuchu’s words, Ming Wan was a bit surprised and reached out to grab her arm, stopping her from leaving.
Chuchu thought she was afraid to be alone, so she pointed to the taxi not far away: "It’s right there, I’ll be back soon."
She looked behind them, the letter K of the five was on their right rear, holding a map and pretending to be serious, then whispered to Ming Wan: "Don’t worry, our people are nearby, nothing will happen."
Ming Wan shook her head, somewhat embarrassed, and said: "Actually, he’s coming to pick me up."
Ah?
Chuchu didn’t react at first, still wondering ’who he was,’ and after seeing Ming Wan’s slightly flushed ears, she understood that it was the ex-boyfriend from the mafia coming to pick them up.
She twitched her mouth, the Crown Prince didn’t mention this to her, probably Ming Wan contacted the mafia boyfriend in private, seems this girl has quite the initiative.
But just mentioning the ex-boyfriend made her blush, that’s too innocent, right? They don’t seem like a broken-up couple, more like they’re in the ambiguous stage of first love.
She said "Oh," and smiled: "Well, that’s great, saves us some trouble. I don’t speak Y language, I was just worried about how to communicate with the taxi driver. Do you speak Y language?"
Ming Wan nodded: "A bit, he taught me when he was my language teacher." Her tone was very sweet, as if recalling some beautiful memories.
Chuchu blinked and deliberately teased: "So you were teacher-student romance."
Ming Wan quickly shook her head: "No, he was just a grade above me, we fell in love later."
"I see."
While they were chatting, a roaring black Jeep Wrangler appeared in view, the roar seemed to express the owner’s joy. Ming Wan looked up, saw it, and immediately smiled, her eyes shining with joy, she even said to Chuchu:
"He’s here, that’s his favorite car, also my favorite."
Chuchu looked at the rugged off-road vehicle, then at the delicate Ming Wan, her mouth twitched, beauty loves the beast?
The car quickly stopped in front of them, a tall man with black hair and blue eyes leapt out of the car, rushing eagerly toward Ming Wan.
What happened next left Chuchu stunned, as that deep-featured, bright-eyed man picked Ming Wan up high, and Ming Wan grabbed his shoulder, giggling, and they even spun around excitedly a few times.
This is not a broken-up couple? Obviously, they are lovers in love!!!
Seeing them still clinging to each other, Chuchu felt that since she was entrusted by the Crown Prince, she should play the role of companion and chaperone, so she went over and coughed loudly a few times to get their attention.
Only then did Ming Wan remember Chuchu’s presence, immediately blushing, reaching out to pat her ex-boyfriend’s shoulder, signaling him to put her down.
Chuchu quickly spoke in English: "Hello, Mr. Andrew, congratulations on your wedding." She had previously researched, knowing this person was named Andrew.
Although the two looked happy, one was about to get married, continuing like this wouldn’t be right, so Chuchu specifically brought up the mafia’s upcoming wedding to remind Ming Wan.
Sure enough, upon hearing Chuchu’s words, Ming Wan slightly stiffened, her bright expression dimmed, and she quietly removed her hand from Andrew’s arm.
Andrew was somewhat displeased, frowning and saying to Chuchu: "Thank you, but no need to congratulate me, because I’m not satisfied with this wedding."
Chuchu rolled her eyes, feeling as though she’d discovered a jerk trying to act innocent.
You’re not satisfied with the wedding, but you’re still going through with it, aren’t you?
Ming Wan came to her senses, masking her disappointment, and smiled to intervene between them, introducing: "Andrew, this is my friend Chu Wan, she specially accompanied me to attend... your wedding, please don’t make it difficult for her." Her later words were filled with such melancholy, making one feel pity.
"Chu, this is Andrew, you already know his name."
They had agreed while they were still in their home country that, just in case, Chuchu would use a pseudonym.
Upon hearing Ming Wan’s request, Andrew reined in his displeasure, with a trace of a bitter smile, he said to Chuchu: "Welcome to Y country, I hope you have a wonderful journey."
Chuchu nodded: "Thank you, Andrew, I hope we can get along well during this time."
After the formalities, Andrew voluntarily picked up their luggage, put it in the trunk, and then let Chuchu and Ming Wan into the car.
When getting into the car, Chuchu noticed Ming Wan hesitating, secretly sighed, and called out: "Ming Wan, we’ll sit in the back, it’s more comfortable there."
Andrew fluttered his big eyes at Chuchu: "Oh, I’m very sad."
Chuchu laughed: "You’re about to be a groom, and even have an ex-girlfriend flying in just to celebrate, you should feel content."
Seeing Ming Wan pursing her lips without speaking, Andrew stopped the banter with Chuchu, and said: "Wan, I once said I’d take you to see where I grew up, finally I can fulfill my promise."
Ming Wan nodded at him, though she didn’t speak, her eyes shone with unconcealed love. Andrew immediately brightened up, hit the gas, and the car sped away.
Chuchu opened her phone, sent a text to K.
The car continued through the countryside, passing large areas of woods and meadows, along the way, Chuchu kept asking Andrew about Y country, making the atmosphere in the car not awkwardly quiet.
After about three hours, they turned a mountain and climbed a small hill, revealing a clear view ahead, and in the distance was a massive medieval European castle.
"This is my home." Andrew said as he drove, unclear if he was speaking to Chuchu or Ming Wan, but Ming Wan was observing closely.
Chuchu asked: "Did you grow up here? The distance from the city is quite far, how did you manage school?"
Although it’s nice here, Chuchu felt life’s not convenient enough.
This time Andrew didn’t answer, instead, Ming Wan spoke: "Andrew had a tutor when he was young, only leaving here for middle school, but he returns every holiday."
She knows this so well!
Chuchu continued to ask: "Will your wedding in three days be held here?"
Andrew shook his head, "No, it’s at another estate, not far from here."
The car soon arrived in front of the castle. Chuchu got out, she wasn’t curious about the castle as she had seen many during her runaway with Xiao Yu before, but Ming Wan disembarked and looked closely, perhaps searching for traces of Andrew’s growth.
