" Ok Jess what about Kheer Paratha would you like to eat it ?" ,I asked her to make sure that she if she is ok with it .

    "Wow girly you can make that ? I really like it .How did you knew that ?", She was lying on the sofa now munching chips and watching cricket .

    "Well I like to cook so I know a lot of recipes . ", I prepared the dinner and keeping the thought (She probably eats a lot ) in mind made a lot of food.

    "Dinners ready Jess . Help me serving it" , I asked her through the kitchen door. "Coming coming", She came inside and almost took everything in her hands .

    In her one hand there was plates and Parathas in the plates . In other she placed Kheer and walked in the leaving room .

    "This is really delicious girly , Why don''t you open a restaurant ?" ,Jess said with mouth full of food .I just shrugged .

    We finished our food watching live one day cricket match . It was really fun watching her going crazy on all sixes and fours for our team .

    "Jess can I ask you something?" , I asked her doubtfully . "Hey don''t ask such lame questions to me . Come straight to the point " ,She replied mocking me . I face palmed myself . Why did I thought that I can talk seriously with this girl? Ahhhh " Well why did your mom kicked you out?",

    This question was nagging at me from the start so I couldn''t help but ask.

    She sighed ,"Girly I don''t talk about my emotional sh*t. But I guess I owe you this explanation. ", she took a deep breath and continued .

    Their was no playfulness in her eyes . I have a feeling what I am gonna hear is not good .

    "Mom and dad loved each other. Before marrying she got pregnant with me . That ?sshole told mom to have an abortion but mom didn''t want to . So he left her . Mom loves me very much .She never got married only for me . She never hides anything from me .But the realization of the fact that because of me her life is a mess was very intense.

    I made a vow to myself that I will never let anyone hurt her again , So I made myself strong . So strong that no one could break me . I want to be like a fire that no one would dare to put his foot on me .

    Mom wants me to settle down and get married but I don''t want to . I want to stay with her protect her from everything. She is so kind . I want to open my own car repair shop . My friend is gonna help me with that . She doesn''t like this idea so she kicked me out . She thinks this can make me change my plan. But she is wrong . "

    Her sudden confession made me look at her with different light. This stupid girl is suffering so much from inside but never shows any tress of it . Her determination also made me realize how idiot I am . I had everything at my finger tips but I chose the wrong path again and again. My stupidity made not only me but everyone near me suffer .

    "Whatever decision you make I am with you Jess . Your making a good decision", I told her wholeheartedly . "Thanks Piya . I need your backing . Now lets watch the cricket . This is the last ball and I''ll kill you if I miss it ," She said directing her attention yet again to the match .That made me laugh .

    She could hide her true emotion so easily . I need to learn that from her. The rest of the night went by like that.

    The next day I woke up at the ringing of my phone . I picked up the call without looking at the caller ID.

    "Hello I am the receptionist from Infotech company . Can I talk to Miss Piya?", That made me fully awake .

    "Hello this is Piya . " I said somewhat excited to know whats will happen.

    "Good morning Miss Piya . I called you to tell you that your application to join the company is accepted . We are more than happy to have you in our company . " She said very gently .

    "Thank you so much Mam. When can I join the company ?", I asked politely .

    "Miss Piya If you don''t mind we would like you can join from tomorrow morning at 9 AM sharp ." She told me . I was more than happy to start working . Finally I am gonna start working .

    "Of course . Thank you so much." With that I hung up the phone . OMG I''m so happy today. I got the job . With that I started daydreaming about my future . I was grinning from ear to ear like a fool .

    I need to tell this to someone . I told mom and dad about this and I could almost feel there happiness and excitement coming out of the phone .

    I was on the seventh cloud when I heard the doorbell . I went to open the door but the person kept on pressing the bell . What the hell?

    I was so pissed of at whoever it is . I opened the door to see a very handsome guy standing there . He had dyed golden brown long hair which reached to his neck . His eyes the color of deep blue and a manly body . But the look on his face was like he was finding someone very important .

    "Who are you ? And what to you want ?", I asked anger still in its place.

    "Hello Miss, I am Manas Joshi . I am here to find my boss err sorry Jessica . Your neighbors told me she is staying with you ? "

    He asked his eyes trying to find her past me . Before I could answer him I heard Jess talking . I turned to see her .

    "You dork . Where were you when I needed you yesterday?How many times I called you f*cker, Why didn''t you answer me ? " She started swearing the moment she entered . I motioned him to come in as I didn''t wanted others to see the morning show .

    "I am so sorry Boss . I was out of India on a business meeting. I came early morning today ." He replied panic clear on his face. Jess narrowed her eyes but nodded her head.

    What is going on here ? Who is this guy ? And why is he calling her boss? I looked at Jess for explanation. She got the hint and said,

    "He is the friend I mentioned yesterday . He is a business man . He is gonna help me open my car repairing shop . ",She answered my unspoken questions .

    "She is our new neighbor I told you about . She helped me so I''m staying with her for some days ." She explained it to him.

    " Ok I''m preparing breakfast . You should join us too Manas ." I announced making my way towards kitchen . "Thank you miss Piya", He said after me . After breakfast I told Jess that I got the job and will be working from tomorrow.

    She was also happy to hear that . She told me that as now Manas is returned she will be opening her shop in few days . He was gonna help her financially .

    I also offered my help but she rejected it straight away saying I''m already doing a lot . The day went by in a blink as we both were planning our future .
