The day went by smoothly without any difficulties. It was nearly five now soon I''ll be home. It feels good to work actually. Although I didn''t do much I''m still happy. I was adding some data on the computer in my cubicle when Eesha came.

    "Hey newbie any difficulties? ", She asked with bright smile. I''m damn sure no one would get tired in her presence. In this whole day whenever I see her she is always shining and smiling.

    "Thank you , I''m OK ", I replied. Her presence making me feel fresh. "That''s great. You see Piya there is a welcome party arranged for you tomorrow " , she told me excitedly ." Ohhh welcome party? Wow I never knew that. You also had one? ", I asked her excitedly.

    " Not really. Let''s say only the employees who are special have welcome parties. And you are more than special here. ", She said . Huh ? what special employee?

    "What do you mean? ", I asked her somewhat confused over her statement.

    " Ehem , Well you see you are asked to join the company. Where as most of us interviewed and got the job. Your abilities are better than us. " , she said that but I don''t know whom actually she was telling that , me or herself?

    I raised one eyebrow. Something is fishy. Everyone seems to know about me, even if I''m asked to come here it''s not that big of a deal. Or is it? I shrugged that thought and said ," I''ll come tomorrow. Thanks for the party" . She smiled and went to her work.

    I did my work and got ready to go. I was waiting for the lift when I felt someones presence at my back. Even if it was time to go everyone in the company was doing there work. I was new and was given less work. So I was alone . I looked back to face the boss.

    Doesn''t he have a private lift? why is he waiting here? " Hello miss Piya, we meet again. " , He said with a genuine smile. I smiled back but in a professional way and said , "Good evening sir " . " Evening! How was your first day? I hope it went well , if you face any difficulties feel free to ask anyone. The employees here are all helpful. "

    " Thank you sir, I''ll definitely ask when I have problems with work. " I replied , What a friendly boss ! The bell rang indicating the arrival of lift. Thank God ! It''s really awkward for me to talk with boss.

    I went inside and was taken aback when he followed me inside. Most of the time I didn''t spoke much , So it was like that awkward silence. Should I say something? But I''m not much good at talking with unknown people.

    Besides it doesn''t look good to talk with your boss. Leave it be why am I thinking so hard. When the lift reached the ground floor , I thanked God and prayed never to be in same lift with him.

    I stepped outside when he coughed lightly , I turned to look at him to see if he was OK. "Miss Piya I hope secretary Eesha told you about tomorrow''s party. And you are coming? " , He asked and raised one eyebrow.

    " Yeah she told me about that. Thank you sir , but I don''t feel the need of party. " , I told him what was in my mind. " Well it is necessary and I arranged it , You are new here and don''t know much about work and colleagues . So I want to introduce you to everyone .And it will be small business party. Is there any problem? "

    Well what Eesha said back then I didn''t mind much. But now it seems like something is really going on. I mean which boss arranges a party for a new employee? And he seems concerned about me. Is this my wild imagination or he is really a nice person?

    Whatever I need to make sure I don''t face any problems. I nodded my head indicating I''m OK with it. We said our goodbyes and I drove my car to my house. Stopping by the vegetable market to buy some veggies.

    When I reached home , it will be a understatement if I say I wasn''t concerned. Concerned for my house as to what I will face now. Jess doesn''t seem like a person who will clean the house. And I was a clean freak.

    I opened the door with my spare key and made my mind to face the storm.

    But hey there was nothing. Everything was arranged in a very nice ordered better than me. wow man I''m impressed , at least my decision for taking her in wasn''t wrong. I smiled to myself and entered the house humming my favorite song.
