I was in a bathroom, cleaning the mess I had made of my face while crying my heart out. When I heard some girls gossiping outside the bathroom, I could see them but they can''t. I remembered them they were the new interns in our company.

    First girl :" What is so good about her that sir arranged welcome party for her? "

    second girl :" Obviously her looks, she looks like a Barbie doll. I''m sure she must''ve seduced the boss "

    First girl :" But everyone said she got the job because of her high ranking. She is topper of their college. "

    Second girl :" I don''t believe that, have you never seen how the boss looks at her? It''s like she is his long lost love. And did you forget the meeting arranged by him?"

    First girl : " Yeah I remember, he specifically told us all to take care of her and never hurt her, or we all will be fired. "

    Second girl : " Yeah that was weird , I think something is going on between her and Boss . But we should keep our mouths sealed in case she became the Boss''s wife. "

    They both laughed at that and rolling there eyes went out in the hotel. Leaving me there alone, my brain couldn''t work on the information I just received right now. Exactly what is going on? Why is he doing all this things? Holding a meeting just to tell them take care of me? A welcome party for me?

    Now now whatever it is I need to know that, and before it is too late I might as well have to resign from this job. I don''t want any crazy boss. I said my goodbyes and went home , staying there for even a second was like suffocating. For the following week I observed him closely whenever got the chance , and I got the conclusion that the boss was sure giving special attention to me.

    He would order lunch for me, he''ll make sure that I won''t have to work much , he will stole glances at me , once I got hot coffee spilled over my hands and he was panicked like I was on my death bed. I decided that I don''t want to work here any longer, I was b?r?ly able to get free from my past and now this?

    I typed my resignation letter and went to his office, "May I come in Sir ?" . I said and knocked on the door . " Yes come in " , came the reply shortly afterwards. I opened the door and went inside, I was nervous for sure but more I was more determined to get away from him.

    " This is my resignation letter sir, I am sorry but I can''t work here anymore. " , I said keeping my head straight. The smile on his face slowly turned to confusion , " Is today the April Fool day ? " ,He asked arching his perfect eyebrow . " Not April Fool sir, But I''m serious. I am leaving. " , I said trying to maintain my composure.

    " Care to tell me the reason? Is the pay not good? Are the other employees giving you problems ? Exactly what is the problem? And don''t you think it''s too soon to judge something, you''ve hardly worked for half a month and your giving me resignation? " , his calm smooth talking changed into anger by each and every word.

    " Everything is perfect sir, or one might say too perfect for a new employee like me. " , O was now getting angry too remembering the conversation between those two interns at the party and his behavior till now.

    " What do you mean ? What exactly do you want to say? say it clearly stop beating around the bush. " , he said now rising from his sit .

    " Oh so you don''t know anything? What is with all this extra care you are giving me? What''s with the party and meetings hold for me? What am I supposed to think about it? Now you care to explain? ", I was already on my edge from that encounter with Alok and then those employees, so I released all my anger on him.
