"I saw Mr. Kulkarni and asked him to join us for dinner, I hope you don''t mind", Kartik said to me after making sure Alok won''t be able to listen to us.

    ''I am minding it OK?'', I thought to myself. I wanted to have peaceful dinner at least but now it seems like it won''t be happening..

    Never mind, I pouted and said,"Yeah I don''t mind, why would I mind him?".

    Alok was talking something with his new ?ssistant. He said his good bye and came to join us. The look in his eyes was like he was saying to me ,''You want to get away from me? in your dreams''.

    But he didn''t know that I''ll do anything to stay away from him. I loved you but not anymore, I don''t know what happened in this time that made him change his mind .

    And why he is acting like a jealous wife right now, but whatever it is I''m not gonna be the same Piya I used to be in my past.

    We were sitting in the restaurant Alok on my right side and Kartik on the left side. Gyah Man!!! They are talking about business non stop. Hey! can we have a good dinner at least? I want to eat peacefully. Why can''t they understand?

    When the food arrived I was like wow, Let this two talk about business I''m gonna eat everything.

    "Leave my hand ", I whisper yelled at him. How can he stop me from eating my favorite food?

    "No, it feels better when I hold your hand let me hold it for a while? ", he said in a gentle but pleading tone . And for the first time in all this years, I felt like he was lost and lonely. That he wanted to someone or that he wanted me?

    I stomped on his foot, cause I wanted to get free from him. (Or you wanted to free yourself from these feelings?) , someone said from inside me.

    He didn''t even twitched, not to mention didn''t let go of my hand. I was getting angry now.

    "What happened Piya? You don''t like the Food? ", Kartik said with a concerned voice.

    "No it''s not like that, I like it very much ", I said and started to eat with my left hand , although I was right hand person .

    And trust me guys it''s not easy to eat with left hand unless you are lefty.

    Alok was enjoying the situation too much that he was smiling like a fool for the whole dinner.

    "I didn''t know you were lefty", Kartik said . Which made me flinch, I don''t know how much this guy knows about my habits.

    "Is it? I ordered your favorite dishes , I''m glad you liked it", he said pleased to himself. This guy really cares about me I guess....

    "Do you two know each other? ", Alok asked looking irritated all of a sudden but he was hiding it with a forced smile .

    "Yeah we were class mates in school time, And we are friends so we know about each others hobbies and like-dislikes", Kartik said smiling like a teenager in love.

    And Here goes nothing...

    "Oh really? I''m glad to hear that. Tell me more about what Miss Piya likes, will you Mr. Kartik? ", he asked him with the fake smile again but it seems like Kartik couldn''t notice it.

    And why would he? He isn''t the one whose hands are gripped tightly , is he? Gyah Man!! why can''t he leave my hands out of it?

    And just like that the two of them talked about my likes and dislikes, like it was the most interesting thing on earth . And I was surprised to know that Kartik knows about me more than myself. He knew every detail about me, that I don''t like tomatoes or that I like to wash my hair with only strawberry shampoo, That I like to drink coffee more than tea.

    All those things were true...

    When the dinner was over only then Alok loosened his grip on my hand , and I was more than pleased to get free from his hold. We said our goodbyes and I went to my room.

    Now for the wedding proposal I know what I want to do....
