Lin Tuanzhang and Su Sha exchanged glances outside the curtain for a long while before quietly walking to a secluded spot. "Su Sha, I like your daughter-in-law’s personality," Lin Tuanzhang declared as they stopped.

"You don’t think she’s too assertive?" Su Sha replied with a bitter smile. "This also explains why Xiao Wan wasn’t lying about Luo Ye using a needle on her."

Lin Tuanzhang laughed: "Put yourself in Luo Ye’s shoes. Would you have tolerated Xiao Wan’s provocation? That child is simply blinded by love."

"Me?" Su Sha sighed. "I might have tolerated it, but I don’t have her skills. Frankly, I’m very curious how she manages those needle techniques."

Ye Mo hesitated, then confessed, "Actually...I did come."

Luo Ye realized and smiled apologetically, "Brother Ye, I’m sorry if my attitude caused you any distress, I..." She hesitated, unsure how to continue.

"Ye’er, since we’re talking about this, I just want to understand, why were your eyes like that when you first saw me?"

"That..." Luo Ye took a moment, then decided to be upfront: "Brother Ye, if I told you, before I met you, I saw you in my dreams, would you believe me?"

"In dreams?" Ye Mo murmured, then nodded: "I believe!"
