AUTHOR’S POV.
Was he out of his mind?
In a different scenario, she would have been turned on… okay, she was turned on by his words, but she was still mad at
bim.
How could he be thinking about sex right now?
Alina wasn’t just upset about Trixy, but also about the Fairview project that Lucian had given to Adrian. In fact, she was more pissed about that than Trixy.
“Are you crazy?” She red at him in shock, ncing around to make sure nobody heard him.
“Yes, Alina. I am crazy. You drive me fucking crazy.” He said, grabbing her chin and holding her stare.

Alina could see the wild, burning look in his eyes, she knew he was being literal.
“Listen… I think we both need space to calm down bef—”
Next thing she knew, she was hanging upside down over Lucian’s shoulder.
“Are you insane! Put me down!” Alina shouted in horror, pounding on his back.
“Behave.” Lucian warned, nding a harsh smack on her butt.
Alina gasped, her face coloring with embarrassment as she noticed the sly smiles some of the people around were giving
them.
“Lucian, put me down, I will walk.” She told him, in an attempt to regain some dignity.
“I gave you countless chances to walk on your own, but you didn’t. That offer is off the table.” He told her as he continued
to stride out.
The cool breeze hit Alina’s face as soon as they stepped outside, and she let out a low sigh of relief. The inside of the
warehouse might have been well ventted, but it was also stuffy.
Lucian opened the car door and ced Alina inside, strapping her seatbelt on before she could move.
“Stay put, Alina, or so help me-”
He left his sentence hanging, his eyes shutting tight as he fought to control himself.
Lucian stood up and closed the door firmly, making sure to activate the child lock in case she tried to be funny.
Alina crossed her arms, an annoyed pout on her face as she red at him through the window while he moved around the
car.
Lucian slid into the driver’s seat and turned on the ignition, driving off.
During the car ride, Lucian couldn’t help but sneak nces at his fiancée. Since when did she know how to fight like that?
It didn’t seem like luck, she looked like she’d been trained by a professional.
“Where did you learn how to fight like that?” Lucian couldn’t help but ask.
None of your business.” Alina snapped before turning to look out the window.
Lucian’s hands tightened around the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. He didn’t do well with disrespect, and Alina was asking for it at this point.
The rest of the ride was thick with tension, and the moment Lucian parked in front of the mansion, he stormed out of the car, went around, and yanked Alina out.
Alina’s eyes widened. She could feel the dangerous aura radiating off him, and she didn’t want to be anywhere near him.

“Let go of me!” She struggled against his grip, but his hold was strong and unyielding.
He dragged her down several corridors and into an elevator.
Since when did the mansion have an elevator? Alina wondered, panic rising.
She had no recollection of evering across an elevator in her past life. Then again, she’d always kept away from Lucian and everything that had to do with him, so it was no wonder she hadn’t noticed.
The elevator buttons, unlike normal ones, had a negative sign in front of each number, and there were only three floors.
Lucian pressed the button for -2. The elevator jerked and began to descend.
“Where are we going?” Alina asked, her voice now quivering with fear.
She had been so blinded by anger that she’d forgotten how dangerous Lucian could be,especially when disrespected. And not only had she disrespected him, she had done it in front of an audience.
“Luc…cian, I’m s…sorry, please just let me go.” Her voice shook as she pleaded, eyes brimming with tears.
This isn’t how she nned to die.
“You have to be punished, Alina.” Lucian spoke darkly, for the first time since the car ride.
The elevator stopped. The doors opened to reveal a dim hallway, with one door at the
very
end.
Alina stayed rooted in ce, struggling against Lucian’s grip. With a frustrated sigh, he lifted her off the ground and slung her over his shoulder again as he strolled toward the door.
“Let me go, Lucian!” She pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
She recalled all the times, back in the past, when Lucian had warned her, ‘If you keep misbehaving, I’ll lock you up in the dungeon below the mansion.’
She had always thought he’d been bluffing. ‘There’s no way he has a dungeon here., she’d told herself.
But now… she realized just how wrong she’d been.
Lucian reached the door, retrieved a key from his pocket, and unlocked it.
Cold air hit Alina’s skin the moment they entered the dark room. Lucian door shut and locked the door behind them with a
solid click.
He set her down gently, then walked away from her, his steps fading into the shadows.
*Lucian…” Alina called, terrified. “Where is this ce?” She asked, her eyes straining against the darkness, trying to see something, anything, but with no luck.
“You’ve made your point, Lucian. I’m sorry! Please… can we just leave?” She begged, a terrified chill running down her spine.
There was silence.
Except for the distant echo of Lucian’s footsteps, ing from the far end of the room.
Suddenly, the room was illuminated. Alina blinked rapidly, trying to adjust to the dim light.
When her eyes finally focused, she looked around, and froze in shock.
It wasn’t a dungeon.
“What in the fifty shades of grey is this ce?” She whispered, stunned as she took in the room before her.
Lucian was nowhere in sight.
“Wee to the punishment room, babydoll.” His voice suddenly whispered beside her ear, sending a scream from her lips as she spun in terror.
