CHAPTER 805: CHAPTER 807: IT’S YOUR AUNT-IN-LAW

"It’s actually quite nice." Fei Jiayi wasn’t much of an art appreciator; she took a quick look and moved on, asking, "Where are Nianhua’s photos?"

"Since we’re here, shouldn’t we take our time to look around?" Su Xi pulled Fei Jiayi along to admire all the photos again.

Fei Jiayi, trying to be patient, looked at the beautiful photos, which didn’t really captivate her. At most, she would offer a compliment, "Nice," but she’d rather go eat something delicious.

"Su Xi, look quickly, your aunt!" Fei Jiayi suddenly spotted a photo and hurriedly dragged Su Xi over to see it.

"Huh?"

Su Xi looked at Xu Nianhua’s photo, and with Fei Jiayi’s remark, it did kind of resemble her aunt.

However, it was Xu Nianhua.

"How could this be? Why is your aunt’s photo being exhibited here as well? It seems like a picture from when she was young," Fei Jiayi said, puzzled.

"Is it?"

Su Xi, confused by Fei Jiayi’s murmurs, looked again but, with a preconceived notion, still didn’t see the resemblance to her aunt Jiang Wanru.

Until Su Xi explained it was Xu Nianhua, Fei Jiayi exclaimed, which drew everyone’s attention in the quiet gallery.

Su Xi quickly covered her mouth, apologized to the crowd, and dragged Fei Jiayi to a corner, quietly saying, "Jiayi, what are you doing."

"I was just shocked; it really looked like your aunt." Fei Jiayi muttered, "How could it be Nianhua?"

"I don’t see the resemblance to my aunt at all," Su Xi said, looking at Fei Jiayi, genuinely considering knocking her head to see what she was thinking.

Fei Jiayi argued, "Don’t you remember? When we used to look at your photos, I remember there was one that looked a lot like this. Didn’t your aunt look a lot like this when she was younger?"

"I remember; it was a profile shot as well, and I said at the time, your aunt was really beautiful," Fei Jiayi diligently recounted the past.

Su Xi vaguely recalled, and comparing it with the photo, she had to admit, there was some resemblance, but there are plenty of similar-looking people in the world.

"How could it be Nianhua."

Fei Jiayi went over again, scrutinizing the photo, wanting to peel it apart, finally saying, "It’s indeed Nianhua. Upon another look, it doesn’t really resemble your aunt."

Su Xi didn’t take Fei Jiayi’s words to heart. She thought, since her aunt liked Nianhua so much, perhaps it was because Nianhua somewhat resembled her aunt, which is why she liked her?

After checking out the photos, Fei Jiayi dragged Su Xi to eat something delicious. It’s rare to go out, so why not indulge?

Both of them ate till their stomachs were full, and Fei Jiayi, patting her round belly, said with satisfaction, "Today was so satisfying."

"Some people didn’t even want to go out." Su Xi was also quite content. Among her many relatives, she got along best with Fei Jiayi. Both enjoyed good food.

"Hehe." Fei Jiayi chuckled, "Su sis, sis, dear sis, next time invite me out to eat again."

"Hmm, we’ll see," Su Xi said, slightly raising her lips. The sisters ate joyfully and only went home at night.

Once home, Su Xi saw her dad, Su Jinfang, and mom, Fei Meishu, sitting in the living room watching TV. She approached and asked, "Mom, do you remember what Aunt looked like when she was younger?"

"Why suddenly ask that?" Fei Meishu glanced at her and said, "Didn’t you say you were going to a photography exhibition today, how was it? Was it nice?"
