Yan Kai frowned, "Why still stay there? If she continues, Yang Hongying will be bullied to death. It’s better to leave. I’m not saying anything bad about Wang Guihua in front of you, but since she doesn’t oppose the two being together anymore, why keep tormenting the child? What is the reason?"
He’s been unable to tolerate Wang Guihua for a while now. Is she really treating her son like a treasure? If it weren’t for Gu Junming, his words would be harsher.
Han Dong chuckled, "Exactly, if my wife were bullied by my mom, I’d be heartbroken too."
Gu Junming nced at Han Dong, thinking to himself, "Are you married? Don’t seem like it to me. Maybe when you’re fifty."
At this moment, Sun Chan spoke, "What exactly does Wang Guihua find unsatisfactory about this daughter-inw? Just because she’s been married before? I think she’s great, she’s beautiful, and truly loves Gu Juntao."
"For her, Yang Hongying having been married before is like an unforgivable sin, an indelible stain. No matter what she does, she can’t be satisfied." Yan Kai sneered.
"Fortunately, I’m not married to her son, so she can’t say much. But Gu Juntao is doing really well now, standing up for his wife."
Yan Kai said, "Right! Initially, I was worried about Gu Juntao and my sister, given their young age and with a mother like that, but now seeing how the two of them get along puts me at ease. As long as the husband loves her, everything’s fine."
"You understand quite well, yet I haven’t seen you find a girlfriend," Han Dong remarked.
Gu Junmingughed, "Do you want us to find you one? There are quite a few female instructors in the army, and military doctors are not bad either."
Yan Kai hurriedly said, "Speaking of which, Bai Fannes to mind. Before marriage, she seemed normal enough, just a bit arrogant. Who would have thought she’d be so strange after marriage? I can’t handle that; I want to live a few more years."
Everyoneughed.
The trip turned out to be quite easy and rxed.
At first, Bai Fann ignored that man, but over time, as the man persisted, she could speak a few words.
The man looked quite good and was caring. His words were charming; he brought her meals twice, and train food is expensive. No matter how coldly she spoke, he never got angry.
Bai Fann gradually became satisfied with him and regained the feeling of being pursued as she was before.
When it was time to get off the train, the man offered to help carry her luggage.
Bai Fann smiled, "Thanks a lot, I’ll just take a taxi, and it’ll only be a little while."
As she said this, the man smiled and said, "No need for formalities. Taxis are expensive. My friend is picking me up; we can drop you off along the way, don’t be so polite."
Bai Fann hesitated but agreed. This person seemed to be well-educated and certainly not a bad guy.
The man handed Bai Fann a bottle of water, "Have some first, I’ll go find my friend."
Bai Fann took it without suspecting anything and drank it directly.
Before long, the man helped the slightly dizzy Bai Fann onto the car and drove away.
When Bai Fann woke up, she found herself naked in bed. The surroundings were rundown; the house was small. Just reaching up, she could touch the ceiling above. It was stuffy and smelled so bad Bai Fann was about to retch.
She turned her head and saw a middle-aged stranger sprawled nearby, with a tiger tattoo on his body.
Bai Fann’s mind buzzed, and her blood seemed frozen. She quickly reacted, shivering, as she grabbed her clothes and scrambled to dress. Her head throbbed, though she didn’t know exactly what had happened, she had guessed: she had been drugged and conned.
At that moment, the person on the bed woke up, chuckled, "You’re Yuan Bing’s woman, right?" speaking in a northern ent.
"I don’t know Yuan Bing. Who are you?" Bai Fann’s voice trembled.
"How can you not know him? You two had such a good chat on the train, didn’t you? Last night, the three of us slept together. You were very open; didn’t we have a great time?" The manughed as he put on his pants.
Bai Fann covered her ears and screamed. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to encounter something like this! That person on the train turned out to be... a beast...
Grinding her teeth, she shouted, "I’ll sue you!"
"Are you kidding? Do you think you can get out?" The man grabbed Bai Fann’s arm and forcefully threw her onto the bed, causing her bones to feel like they were snapping. As she turned to look at him, she was struck twice by a belt.
"Ahhh! What are you doing?"
"Doing what? Starting tomorrow, you’ll be entertaining guests! Don’t worry, as long as you do well, we promise to treat you nicely!"
Never had Bai Fann imagined encountering something like this, of course, she didn’t agree. But the man’s belt was hitting hard. Before long, her skin was torn and bleeding, yet she still refused.
She red at him with hatred, "If you treat me like this, none of you will survive!"
The man snorted andshed out again, "What do I care about who you are! Far from the emperor’s reach, whether you agree or not, you have no choice! You’ll never leave here in this lifetime!"
Bai Fann felt utterly humiliated and vengeful, cursing her stupidity. How could she, an adult, be tricked like this!
The man cursed with many obscenities as he whipped her with the belt.
Bai Fann could only pretend to agree.
The man smiled smugly, "That’s more like it. Though you’re not young anymore, you’re good-looking. Later, I’ll have someone properly train you. Serve the men well!"
Bai Fann bit her lip until it bled, without even noticing. She waited for the man to drink water, and suddenly dashed towards the window ledge. As the man shouted, she climbed up and pushed open the window. The man cursed as he reached to catch her, but Bai Fann ignored him, jumping straight out!
"Damn! It’s the fourth floor, are you trying to cause trouble?" The man rushed to the window ledge and looked down.
Thankfully, Bai Fannnded on a fruit stand below, cushioning her fall before hitting the ground, but her arm was still snapped. She screamed painfully, coughing up blood.
Such a sight terrified the people around. A person fell from the building, barely clothed, covered in bruises and whip marks—who wouldn’t be scared!
Bai Fann cried out, "There’s a criminal! Help me!"
The man, seeing her fierceness, dared not linger and fled quickly.
Bai Fann was taken to the hospital for rescue. She felt humiliated that she, a university graduate, had been deceived like this. If people found out, how could she face them!
