    Bai Fann was about to get out of bed when Wang Hu stopped her: "She’s asleep, don’t rush."

    While at her parents’ home, her grandfather had never lost his temper because of her attitude, and she wasn’t disciplined by her parents either, leading her to be quite willful over time.     She clenched her teeth and said, "I didn’t borrow money, he’s a thug!"

    "But he seems very sure. Is there really nothing between you?" Wang Hu asked.

    Bai Fann thought for a moment and said, "Actually, my grandfather once had him do some bad things. He’s trying to ckmail me. He said before, if I don’t give him money, he’ll im I’m his woman and use me of being unclean with him. I was so angry then that I fought him and got beaten. Don’t ever believe a bastard like that!"

    Wang Hu frowned, remembering how Bai Chuan once falsely used Gu Junming for his own good. He went to Beijing to study because of that incident. It’s conceivable Bai Chuan wasn’t a stranger to doing such improper things, so encountering a thug isn’t surprising.

    Is this failing to extort the old man, and now trying to extort Bai Fann? He believed her words.

    "How did he find you?"

    "I don’t know. Last time, he grabbed me once. I didn’t want to deal with him but got pulled into a beating. I’m really afraid of him..." Bai Fann felt Wang Hu didn’t believe her, and started crying: "Don’t you believe me? Do you think I have the capability to mess up ten thousand yuan? Is there a written agreement?     Wang Hu agreed, letting her rest well, and then went out.

    Once her husband left, Bai Fann sighed with relief, copsing onto the bed. She cradled her belly, and suddenly remembered that this child might belong to Yuan Bing! She instantly shivered, feeling cold from head to toe.

    What if there’s a blood type discrepancy with the child and the truth is uncovered then?

    What will Wang Hu do with her?

    Though she felt the possibility was slim, she was ultimately guilty and anxious, fearing Wang Hu might detect something and she’d be in trouble! And what about what that guy might say? What if he talks and Wang Hu believes him?

    Wang Hu walked out, Yuan Bing hadn’t left yet, standing by the roadside smoking, seeing hime out, he smiled and approached. He was confident Bai Fann wouldn’t dare to refuse him. This family lived so well, it shouldn’t be a problem toe up with ten thousand yuan.

    Yuan Bing quickly smiled and said: "What did your wife say?"

    Wang Hu looked at him and said: "I asked my wife. She said she doesn’t owe you money."

    Yuan Bing’s face dropped instantly: "Are you kidding? Does this woman dare to deny it?"

    Wang Hu coldly stared at him: "You say my wife owes money and won’t repay, why don’t you show an IOU? You can’t just im it with no evidence, and I have to hand you ten thousand yuan. It’s not like you’re my brother-inw!" Seeing Yuan Bing’s face turning pale, Wang Hu continued: "If you demand money without evidence, I’ll charge you with extortion."

    "I’m not extorting! Your shameless wife seduced me and my friends. When she was in Shenzhen, she slept with both of us!" Yuan Bing angrily revealed the truth.

    "Nonsense! How dare you nder my wife?" Wang Hu was so furious that the veins on his forehead bulged: "We’re going to the police station to clear this up right now!"

    Yuan Bing was startled. He didn’t want to go to the police side, knowing how many records he had there; going wouldn’t end well!

    "I’m telling the truth! We both slept with her together! Your wife is just a slut!"

    But Wang Hu sneered, delivering a punch to Yuan Bing’s face. Unprepared, Yuan Bing fell to the ground, his nose gushing blood uncontrobly. He coughed a few times, shouting angrily, "Your wife’s cheating on you and you hit me? Are you a man?"

    Wang Hu said with a dark expression, "What kind of character thing are you? My wife couldn’t possibly like someone like you!"

    Though Bai Fann didn’t understand much, she still had the pride of a noble familydy, so there’s no way she’d mix with such a thug.
