Ling Tianyou smiled, "Thank you, Aunt Chi. I was planning on visiting you and Uncle Chi, but Ning Yue was hospitalized, and I haven’t had the time."

Mrs. Chi looked at Gu Ningyue’s bandaged arm, "I understand, all this because Xingtong isn’t easy for people to handle. Once you’re better, bring Ning Yue over, and I’ll cook a meal myself."

Though it was their first meeting, Gu Ningyue inexplicably felt a sense of kindness, as if this was how a mother should be in her memory.

Ling Tianyou smiled and said, "Alright."
