CHAPTER 1459: KAIJU MEAT

As I started preparing the table and bringing out a lot of stuff, I whisked my fingers, starting a large bonfire after placing stones over the ground, and then I decided to grill a lot of Kaiju meat.

Yes, Kaiju meat!

Although we didn’t fight anything as strong or as big as Godzilla, the ones that came after us weren’t messing around.

Lucifer went against one of them, a giant flying turtle, it was really resilient and mighty, and it had a powerful Nightmare Aura that trapped his mind inside a Nightmare Mind Realm!

He had to fight that thing while also dealing with and fighting his inner demons, a nightmare that was forming inside of his dream heart based on all his traumas and regrets.

He had it the harshest, honestly...

But something amazing happened, as he fought, I felt my connection with him strengthening, and so did Nyx’s connection with her father grew stronger as well.

A part of our souls went there and helped him out, I have faint memories of that though, but apparently we manifested as "Dream Spirits" or something similar.

It was honestly crazy; I had no idea we could actually just do that!

But I was happy it worked out for Lucifer, and he overcame this trial, while managing to also channel and tap into his Divine Flame.

The reason he had struggled so much to begin with was because he restrained his powers and only fought on his humanoid form.

Which I find really stupid... But he really wanted to test himself and push his own limits to the very top and even break through them.

And honestly, I guess he wasn’t that wrong, there’s no way anybody is going to channel the deepest parts of their power and awaken to a power even beyond their current realm if they don’t push themselves to almost death.

Even if you have to abandon certain abilities that could facilitate things, to make your battle harder, if it works... well, who am I to judge? I might end up doing the same at one point.

After that, he continued fighting with us, even though he had already reached max level pretty early, he said that he didn’t want to evolve yet until he was truly ready.

Apparently, whatever evolution option he got, it was something that might change him more than he wanted, but that was ultimately necessary.

Just what would it be though?

Oh well, he’s sleeping right now.

Most of those that got to max level already Ranked Up or Evolved...

My brother couldn’t evolve like we do though, he was still technically a human, even though an enhanced one.

Even then, he could Rank Up his Class and get a very strong class and more bonus stats to compensate.

From what I recall, he seemed to have picked something related with divine spears and yin and yang for his class and subclass.

Oh right, yeah!

It was [Radiant Starlight Spear Paladin: ★★] and [Yin & Yang Onmyōji: ★★]!

He still had a while to catch up with us, his classes were only two stars, but they still provided with more stats than those at his rank, and also more skills.

Celes did the same thing and was able to finally rank up after his first rank up, which he did back in his home before the going to the ocean with us.

His classes... I think they were [Divine Oasis Spirit’s Priest: ★★] and [Ocean Druid: ★★].

The baby boy went for the best choices either way, the Priest class will help him strengthen his support magic the most and also to regain his powers from his soul’s previous incarnation.

And lastly, Ocean Druid granted him a lot of new Skills, I had no idea there were Ocean Druids to begin with, but apparently being connected to the ocean and waters was natural for him.

Not because he had gone there a lot though, he only visited it once and everything, but because of his soul’s origins, which came from Atlantis, a Nautic World of oceans, his soul’s previous incarnation was a Mermaid after all, so the innate connection was there.

As for his mother, Nia, she also Ranked Up right away, as someone that was a normal huma being unlike the other girls, she couldn’t evolve either, not like it’s a problem either way.

I remember her classes the most because I helped her pick them up while she was taking a rest, she even sat down over my legs, and I almost melted because her hair smelled so nice...

...

Anyway, I helped her out decide for herself, but her affinity with Wind and Thunder couldn’t go to waste. She wanted to see if she could branch out into something else, but I recommended her to further specialize to get stronger faster, branching out can make your power become diluted, and she’s already at the stage where she might begin catching up with us after another Rank Up.

Though we’re already all going to evolve again, so she might still remain behind for a bit longer... Well, the Dream Heart Weapon really helps her out at getting stronger though.

Anyway, with my help and advice, she ended up choosing [Emerald Thunderstorm Valkyrie: ★★★] and [Wild Tempest Druid: ★★★].

The Class helped her further specialize and grow stronger with her Dream Weapon, the spear I gave to her, and also her Wild Tempest Druid Subclass would help her out with Magic and channeling Spiritual Power from her surroundings.

And that’s about it...

Meanwhile, while Lucifer can now evolve at any time, Emeraldine and Partner are... stuck.

I don’t know what happened to them, or if there’s a new condition, but they said they couldn’t evolve or Rank Up their Class until they "Gained Enlightenment" that’s all the system told them.

I believe they have to go through what Lucifer did... But that’s not something really easy to do, even less for two pregnant women... But I’ll see what I can do to help.
