CHAPTER 831: CHAPTER 831: THE FALL OF CRUX AND NEW HISTORY MADE
Valeria had avenged them as promised.
In Crux history, this day would be written and talked about by many people as the day Crux fell from the greed and conceitedness of the pro-slavery faction and had a taste of Valeria’s strength.
For the anti-slavery faction and all the people who had witnessed Alvis’ wrath, it was the day a god visited Crux and punished them for their crimes.
It was because of the earthquake that came with Alvis’ arrival and the immense power that oozed from him in his furious state that made people conclude he was a god.
The people concluded on their own that a god went there to punish them due to the disrespect to the dead’s body which the magicians from the pro-slavery faction had committed.
Alvis had used the tree from Alwin’s blood to immobilize all the undead and the knights and soldiers from their enemy while he used magic to free the souls of the dead from their bodies.
After that, Alvis declared that no one was allowed to touch or cut any part of the tree or else they would face his wrath as well.
Thus, the people concluded and declared on their own that it was a holy tree whom the "god" himself had used and blessed.
Alvis did not dare correct it since for him and the elves, something that came from Alwin’s blood should indeed be treated like a holy tree especially here in the human realm that did not have much mana left.
After the report from Zion, Alwin was finally moved to his room so he could rest and recover properly.
As they received the official report of the war from the Grand Knight Commander, Arabella had a meeting with Raymond and the Ministers with whom they had discussed the plans last time.
With the war over, it was time to declare their victory and prepare for celebrations and awards to their army.
The ministers were left in charge of appropriating the awards to everyone and Raymond and Arabella would check and approve of the list before it would be sent to Ferdinand for signing.
Meanwhile, Arabella had the news of their victory spread all over the Magic Tower and Imperial Palace.
She also commissioned all the newspapers and publishing firms in Riva to write and publish about it.
Instead of sleeping, everyone was in a joyful mood and kept spreading the news to as many people as they could.
Arabella’s assistants and maids smiled brightly as they watched the Prudencians cheer and cry in relief and joy once they heard the news.
They have not slept yet as well and insisted to keep helping as much as they could so she had let them be.
And they were glad they did since they were among the people in Valeria who were able to learn about the news of victory first.
All their efforts felt worth it.
Only after past midnight did Arabella and everyone else (except for the Estrellians) also retire for the night.
There were only a few hours before dawn but they were happy with the good news they received so a few hours of sleep was fine.

Arabella still woke up early in the morning to write and send letters and attend the morning Court Sessions.
The news was spread immediately far and wide in the span of a day to emphasize even more just how powerful Valeria was.
Likewise, all kingdoms in Eliora and even beyond were watching what would happen to the war.
Thus, once the Crux army was pushed back and defeated at the borders, news began to fly all over the continent from messenger birds of their spies and observers distributed the kingdoms beside Crux.
Thus, before official news was even made, most royals knew immediately that Crux had fallen as expected.
After all, before it even began, the outcome of the war was already obvious for most royals in Eliora, even to the King of Crux himself.
It was exactly why the King of Crux had advised Princess Seraphina and Prince Sebastian to stay in their betrotheds’ respective kingdom so they would not get dragged into the war the pro-slavery faction had pushed on.
However, for the Queen and the nobles who secretly plotted about the necromancers, they thought they had a chance of giving Valeria its first defeat.
They assumed Valeria would underestimate them and send not that many capable people and only use numbers.
Still, they thought that even if Valeria sent capable people, the strength of their people would only go against them even more once their own army became undead and attacked them.
However, they did not know Valeria could still counter the undead even if it was indeed unexpected at first and a lot got injured and almost died.
Valeria managed to prevent casualties on their side though.
The anti-slavery faction was not as lucky though. They had casualties once the undead came in and the anti-magic arrows were used since it unexpectedly got through Alwin’s barrier.
The same was true on Riley’s part at Marquess Heron’s Estate. There were also a lot of casualties.
The positive part was of course, the casualties were much less when compared to how many there could have been if they were not there to make barriers and protect the people.
Since they were allies, Alvis and Zion also healed the injured so more casualties were prevented.
It was both a disastrous and miraculous day for Crux, a day that marked a new history for the kingdom and their people.
All houses and properties in Crux were searched and all Prudencians were rescued or retrieved.
For the pro-slavery faction and all households who still tried to fight or refuse to be searched, they had to be dealt with force.
Meanwhile, as agreed, no harm was done for the anti-slavery faction and all households who allowed their house and properties to be searched for Prudencians.
Prince Sebastian and leaders of the anti-slavery faction were then escorted to the Palace to discuss things with the Grand Commander of the Imperial Knights who had led the war.
