Reborn as a Mind-Reading Empress
Chapter 832: Still Unconscious
CHAPTER 832: CHAPTER 832: STILL UNCONSCIOUS
Prince Sebastian and leaders of the anti-slavery faction were then escorted to the Palace to discuss things with the Grand Commander of the Imperial Knights who had led the war.
Prince Sebastian did not go against the appropriate punishments to be given to every household that deserved it since it was already discussed and agreed upon before the war began.
However, there was a new complication due to the necromancers the Queen of Crux and the pro-slavery faction had hired.

Arabella delayed her lunch and prioritized visiting Alwin first right after the Court Session.
She arrived at Dimo sitting on a chair beside his master’s bed.
"Your Majesty," Dimo jumped from his seat and greeted her formally.
"Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be having your lunch?" Arabella asked since it was lunch time.
"I will eat later. Why is my Master not awake yet?" Dimo asked with pouty lips.
He was visibly worried about his master that he was not even in the mood to eat.
Arabella glanced at Alwin who was peacefully sleeping. He looked like an ethereal piece of art and could be placed in a museum with how exquisite he looked even while sleeping.
What was worrisome though, was he was still sickly pale.
It was so noticeable that even Dimo was worried. His already pale master was deathly pale.
"His Eminence had used so much mana for the first time in a while so it took a toll on his body. He is fine but he needs to keep sleeping for a bit more to recover," Arabella tried to assure the pouting child who kept looking at his master with worried eyes.
Dimo was already attached to Alwin since he had learned a lot of things from him and was also the one who healed him when they found him months ago.
"Is that so?" Dimo asked and touched Alwin’s hand for the nth time to ensure he was still warm.
Because he was already pale right from the start, his color getting drained made him look almost like a corpse if not for his warm body.
It was why Dimo kept holding his hand.
Arabella touched Alwin’s forehead and was relieved that he was at least not having fevers anymore.
Alvis had indeed cured his fever. Thus, they at least did not need to worry about that and ALwin could sleep peacefully.
"Yes, so you should go and eat now. What do you think he would say if you skipped meals while he was asleep?" Arabella reminded Dimo.
Dimo gulped since he knew he would be scolded. He was supposed to eat his meals on time to maintain a healthy body for using magic.
Still, Dimo did not let go of Alwin’s hand.
"Alright, why won’t we eat together? I was just about to eat my lunch," Arabella invited and Dimo perked up.
"I," Dimo glanced at Alwin once again and squeezed his hand before letting go. "I’d love to."
"Alright, let’s go and eat first," Arabella smiled.
Just as they had exited Alwin’s room, they met Alvis.
"Greetings to Your Majesty," Alvis greeted and smiled at her.
He glanced at Dimo and smiled, "Oh, you’re leaving now little one?"
"Yes, Grand Master. I am to have lunch with Her Majesty and return here after," Dimo replied and Arabella tilted her head.
"Grand Master?" she asked Dimo and also glanced at Alvis for an explanation for that address.
"He is my Master’s uncle and will be teaching Master more about magic soon so he’s like my Grand Master. Hehe," Dimo said sheepishly.
It was clear in his eyes that he already looked up to Alvis too.
[Even though this is the nth time I feel it, it still is so amazing that he has such an immense amount of mana like Master. And he looks a lot like My Master. Master never said he had relatives though. Who would have thought he had such an amazing uncle? He said he healed Master so Master would be fine. But what did Master do for him to still not wake up even after someone this powerful healed him?]
Dimo had a lot of thoughts in mind.
"Ahaha. This child is so adorable. It reminds me of Alwin when he was young," Alvis chuckled. "This young one said he’s Alwin’s disciple so I let him call me that."
"I see..."
Arabella learned that Dimo had been staying by Alwin’s side since early morning after he had his meal.
Alvis had stayed by Alwin’s side since yesterday so Dimo ended up seeing him and conversing with him.
Thus, the two got a bit closer after hours of talking to each other while watching over Alwin sleep.
Alvis just left for a bit to send a message to the Overseer that he would not be returning to Estrella yet.
"Oh, right. We were just about to eat lunch. Why won’t you join us?" Arabella invited since Dimo already mentioned they were eating together.
It would be rude not to invite Alvis after it was mentioned.
Especially when he was a guest but has not eaten anything yet ever since he arrived.
Alvis was in a foul mood for a while and refused anything even when he was invited to a meal by Riley and others.
"Hmm... A meal?" Alvis thought about it and glanced at the unconscious Alwin.
"I will watch over His Eminence in the meantime," Riley said when he noticed Alvis hesitance.
Riley had arrived safely thanks to Marques Heron and his knights protecting him yesterday.
According to Zion, Riley did not get a single wound thanks to the Marquess.
Since Riley was an elf too and one who took great care of Alwin, Alvis was delighted by Marquess Heron’s actions and appointed the Marquess as one of the three guards of the "holy tree."
Duke Alba’s youngest son and Prince Sebastian being the other two.
Since Alvis saved them all from a pinch and had shown such immense power that shook all of Crux and beyond, none of the three dared to question and simply accepted it as an honor.
It was something that would become an inherited honorable task among the household of three; but at this time, everyone else did not know about it yet.
