The Tenth Apostle buried his surprise and retaliated. His black aura surged outward, shaping into spectral fists that hurtled toward Yaeger. The clash resounded like cannon fire, shaking the surrounding air.

"You think you can match my speed?" he taunted, voice thick with disdain. A twisted smile spread across his face as more shadowy fists emerged, fueled by his churning black aura.

In the next instant, both sides exchanged an overwhelming barrage of blows. At first glance, they appeared evenly matched. But the truth was different. Yaeger’s black cloak had already been torn in several places, while the Tenth Apostle remained untouched.

"Too slow. Is that really your top speed?" he said, folding his arms with smug confidence.

Still, a flicker of unease stirred within him. ‘She’s matching my attacks… and that purification technique is terrifying. She’s too dangerous. I have to kill her here.'

"So this is the speed you’re so proud of? You haven’t even grazed me," Yaeger said coolly. "Still, it’s a shame about my cloak. That cost twenty gold coins." In the blink of an eye, her speed surged, matching his in both pace and precision.

"You talk big, but your energy is fading fast. You’ll fall soon enough," the Tenth Apostle growled.

A sharp gust cut through the air, tearing dozens of strands from his long, greasy hair.

"Less talk, more fighting," Yaeger replied without emotion.

"You wretch!" he roared. His rage boiled over at the sight of his prized hair being sliced away by a mere human. He launched into another flurry of attacks, faster and heavier than before.

Yaeger matched his pace, refusing to back down. Their fists collided like clashing storms, shaking the ground and splintering the terrain around them. Thunderous shockwaves echoed in every direction as their fists slammed together in rapid succession.

Three seconds passed. Then six. Ten. Finally, after twelve relentless seconds, their exchange came to a halt.

Yaeger launched a final strike with all her strength. The Tenth Apostle grit his teeth and responded with everything he had. Their fists collided in midair, unleashing a deafening shockwave.

The force of the impact exploded outward in a violent ripple, flattening everything nearby. Trees and shrubs on both sides were torn apart, hurled backward by the blast. The ground itself had been scraped clean, leaving behind a shallow, circular crater.

A thick cloud of dust swept through the area.

The Tenth Apostle stood with his arms still crossed, but his expression had grown serious. Yaeger remained upright like a drawn blade, her torn cloak fluttering in the lingering wind.

Their auras had vanished completely. For now, the battle appeared to end in a stalemate.

The Tenth Apostle sneered coldly. "What a surprise. You actually managed to keep up with my attacks. Too bad half your vitality is already gone." In his mind, victory was guaranteed. It was only a matter of time before this foolish human was crushed.

"My defense still can’t keep up with my offense. What a pain," Yaeger muttered as she calmly clenched her fists and smiled.

"You can still smile? Just what I'd expect from a foolish human," the Tenth Apostle said, narrowing his eyes as he advanced slowly.

‘Victory is nearly in my grasp, but I should finish this quickly before she becomes more troublesome. That purification ability has already disrupted our plans. I must kill her now.'

The Tenth Apostle slammed his foot into the earth and launched forward like a fired projectile.

"Rushing to your death, are you?" Yaeger smiled calmly and extended her arms, even though her health had dropped below half.

"You’re bluffing!" he growled, noticing that she left herself open and unguarded. His fist rocketed toward her chest, but Yaeger still made no move to block.

The wind blew her jet-black hair in every direction as she smirked. "You really dared to get this close? That was your mistake." Her aura suddenly flared to life, stronger than it had ever been.

At last, the Tenth Apostle sensed that something was terribly wrong. But by the time he did, it was far too late.

Yaeger had already summoned her fox coat, her nine glowing tails whipping out like thunderbolts. One of them caught his arm mid-punch, halting it just inches from her head.

With a deafening crack, the Tenth Apostle was hurled backward, coughing up blood as his body flipped through the air.

Yaeger’s counterattack had been swift and merciless. "You approached me while I was near death. You clearly have no idea what it means to die."

The [Chaos God Ring] revealed its full strength only when her health dropped below half. Now, Yaeger was stronger than ever.

They may have been evenly matched before, but now that the artifact’s hidden effect had been triggered, her attack power surged to its peak.

Fear gripped the Tenth Apostle. He had never imagined this foolish human could be so overwhelmingly powerful. His carelessness had cost him dearly. As he tried to regain his balance, he realized his limbs were bound. One of her fox tails had wrapped tightly around him.

It was the same tail that had thrown him aside. "Come back," Yaeger said, extending her hand. The tail yanked him toward her with terrifying force.

"Damn it!" he yelled, thrashing in vain.

"Bragging about your speed earlier? Let me show you mine." Yaeger’s grim smile never wavered as she raised her fists. She would show no mercy to a pest who spread disease and threatened her profits. Her punch struck like a thunderclap, splitting the air.

"No!" he cried, realizing he could not escape. His screams vanished into the roar of the storm around them.

A flurry of afterimages rained down like a storm of fists. Her remaining tails joined in, lashing out without pause. It was a complete and total beatdown.

Two nearby guards from Aoma Village rushed over, drawn by the noise. When they saw the storm of fists in the distance, their faces went pale. Without hesitation, they turned and ran back toward the village.

After fifteen relentless seconds, Yaeger delivered the final blow. The Tenth Apostle soared through the air, his body broken and bloodied from head to toe.

"One more for good measure." The barrage might have ended, but Yaeger had not. In a flash, the [Dragonsorch] appeared in her hands. She channeled her Mana into it, pouring in everything she had for the final blow.

The Tenth Apostle’s eyes snapped open, burning with hatred. Blood spilled from his lips as he snarled, "You dare damage this sacred body, human? I will rip you apart!" He pulled out a dark shard and gripped it tightly.

"Pentecost!" he roared.
