Shi Lingyan turned away and tossed the phone aside, speaking indifferently, "Go to sleep early."

Shi Mei uttered a sound of acknowledgment.

Shi Lingyan then added, "Her heart is weak, don’t meet her again. After the New Year, I’ll send you to Imperial City."

Shi Mei felt as if something touched her heart, unexpectedly giving rise to the illusion... that she was being protected by him.
