Keith could have gone about this and gotten a better outcome in hundreds of other ways, but this was what he decided to do.

He decided to wear a cloak and mask and threatened to shut down the business. If not, he would start destroying things and making a fuss.

That would cause this place to lose customers, and he would be successful in achieving his goal.

However, there was one problem with this setup: it was not to get caught by anyone and to have them track him and his background down.

There were quite a few people back home that Keith cared about, and he was not about to die here and leave them all to face the world on their own.

"Well, If I die, I will die freeing all the people who have been held captive. That was what I vowed to myself when I first picked up a weapon."

Once he had everything ready, Keith quickly approached the shop and smashed the door with his sword embedded in a rock.

"Excuse me, but what do you think you are doing?"

The elf manager asked angrily as she headed the small group behind her. The elf looked enraged, and for a good reason.

But Keith would not fall for her innocent looks and annoyed expression.

No matter how disappointed the elf looked or how much he wanted to hear her out, she had been included in this scam, and Keith could not forgive her.

"This malpractice of yours needs to end. I will warn you all - you either stop your business, or I will come and destroy it tomorrow. The choice is yours to make."

The man yelled loud and clear, but Siduri would not have it.

She threw a magic potion toward Keith, waiting for him to burst into flames. But Keith helps his sword up to block it.

The magic potion was usually strong enough to melt the weapon and harm the attacker, but the sword blocked all of it.

It was not only blocked, but it also absorbed the magic and bounced back.

Siduri's quick actions of creating a shield saved her and the others. But the damage had been done around her, and a few bottles had broken.

Keith looked as surprised as Siduri looked at what had happened. He had not expected this sword he had picked up to be special, especially since he had never pulled it out.

But this sword was never meant to be pulled out in the first place

'This is good! It makes things easier for me to do. It looks like even the Gods are on my side this time.'

Keith was also shaken, but he quickly recovered from his shock and looked at the workers in front of him with a condescending expression.

"Now you know how powerful I am, so you better not make me angry; I expect you to follow what I asked. Until then, I will take my leave."

Keith quickly left the place, and Siduri sighed before she rubbed her forehead.

"Manager, what should we do? Should we contact the boss and tell her what happened? I do not think this is a situation we can handle on our own."

Someone asked sacredly, but Siduri only sighed and rubbed her forehead.

"There is no need to contact Layla over this. First, clean this place up for the customers. We will keep our business going. I will go after that man alone if I have to, but I will take care of thighs before Layla hears about it."

Siduri did not want to burden Layla, so she cared for things independently.

But just as she was about to open the door and head out, someone else opened the door, and Layla's familiar face came in front of Siduri.

"What the hell happened to this place? Did a customer do this? I want a full report of what happened as soon as possible."

Layla was here, and she had come for a surprise inspection.

Her face looked paler than before, and Layla's body swung from side to side. The poor girl looked like she was about to collapse any second.

Yet, the six-year-old had a firm speaking pattern and a firm expression. She was ready to face anyone in front of her.

"Miss, there is no need for you to get involved here. I know it looks bad, but this situation is not bad. I promise we will be able to take care of everything here…"

Siduri promised, but the look Layla gave her made her falter and look away in shame that the situation had gotten this far.

"Don't worry, Miss Siduri. I know that you want to prove yourself and handle this situation on your own, but there are some privileges that we only enjoy.

For example, if I were privileged, it would be far easier to clear my name compared to someone like you who does not have a huge presence in this town yet. So why don't you leave this to me and our young miss?"

Mary asked with a smile, but her expression made it clear that she was neither happy nor smiling.

Mary looked ready to bite someone's head off, and the anger shone clearly in her eyes.

'Someone is going to die! Suddenly, I feel sorry for that unknown warrior. He is going to end up becoming Mary's prey.'

That much seemed clear to Siduri, but she quickly remembered the odd detail that had made her pause for a second.

"M-Miss Layla, I think you should also know something else weird about that man. He had a sword still embedded in the rock, which was strange.

It absorbed the magic in the potion I threw at that man in self-defense, and then it bounced that magic back at us with greater force. I defended in time, but I am unsure what or how it happened.

But please, be careful if you face that man and decide to use magic. You might end up being in danger."
