CHAPTER 295: CHAPTER 295 THE SECRET IN THE CRYSTAL COFFIN (2)_1

"Hmph, who’s the real fool here? This is our territory. You dare kick down our door? Don’t you think you owe us an explanation?" Yu Zijin was furious. She glared at the man in black by the doorway, noting his simmering anger and the lecherous gaze with which he was appraising them.

Never in her life, wherever she went, had Yu Zijin been subjected to such sleazy looks. And this from someone in a crowd where every individual boasted status and background. Even the owner of this KTV groveled when he saw their group of privileged youths. Now, someone had kicked in the door to their private room. This older man was practically begging for death.

"You dare kick our door? You’ve got some nerve, alright. Not bad, not bad. You’ve got guts, but I wonder if you have the courage to face the consequences."

Several boys among the classmates in the room stepped to the forefront. They squared off against this Mr. Yang Cilang—the man Wanqian had previously knocked down and who had also stood them up. They had lived in Beijing for many years, and this was the first time anyone had dared to kick in their door.

"So what if I kicked your door?" Yang Cilang retorted. "This place isn’t for you to howl and scream. How can anyone stand such noise? Hmph, people from Beijing truly lack class, caterwauling like that. Don’t you realize it’s bad for the KTV’s business?"

Yang Cilang’s eyes swept over the occupants of the room. They were all quite young, around seventeen or eighteen, just a bunch of students who looked like they were still wet behind the ears. Seeing this, his initial apprehension eased.

"What a joke! If a KTV isn’t for singing, is it for beauty pageants?" one of the students shot back. "Why should you care if we sing well or not? As long as we pay, it’s none of your business. Are you out of your mind, going around barking at everyone?"

"Exactly! Mind your own damn business!" Yu Zijin declared. "I, for one, enjoy shouting like this, even with the door open! What are you going to do about it? Crawl back to whatever hole you came from."

Yu Zijin roared, glaring at Yang Cilang. How dare such a disgusting man kick down their door? Isn’t that just asking for trouble?

"Hmph, your noise was seriously disturbing me, so I have every right to demand you stop your howling or leave immediately," Yang Cilang stated. He smirked lewdly, his lustful eyes continually assessing Yu Zijin’s and Gui Luo’s well-developed chests.

"Hmph, what stray dog is barking around here?" Yu Zijin snapped, stepping forward. "This is a KTV, not your backyard! You can’t tell us how to shout or sing. I’m paying, so I’ll do as I please, and no one can control me! If you’re not thinking straight, go ask anyone else in this KTV. If you don’t want to die, get lost!" She gave Yang Cilang a cold look; she found him utterly displeasing.

"Hmph, such arrogance," Yang Cilang sneered. "How long would you have to scrimp and save to afford a place like this even once? Instead of that, why not come with me? I’ll treat you to the finest drinks and spiciest food. How about it?"

Yang Cilang’s anger had been stoked high by Wanqian. When he woke up, he found the contract signed and the woman gone. He hadn’t gained a thing. Then, hearing the ghastly singing from the room, he couldn’t resist kicking down the door. He discovered it was just a group of green kids. But then he saw beauties like Yu Zijin and Gui Luo, who, with their innocent charm, outshone even Wanqian. These girls are even more enticing! Such thoughts made his heart pound.

"Hmph, you’re the first man to dare try and take advantage of me," Yu Zijin chuckled softly, edging a few steps closer to Yang Cilang.

"Serve me well, and we can discuss anything," Yang Cilang’s voice dropped, a lascivious smile plastered on his face, as if he were being incredibly generous. "How about it? I’ll cover tonight’s bill and even give you an extra hundred thousand. What do you say?"

"Classmates, this gentleman says he’s covering all our expenses tonight! What do you all think?" Yu Zijin’s face resumed her usual warm smile as she addressed everyone loudly.

"If someone’s footing the bill, that’s always good!" one replied.

"Apologizing by picking up the tab? Not bad, not bad, we accept," another chimed in.

"Since that’s the case, then we’ll forgive you for kicking the door."

The smile on Yu Zijin’s face deepened. "Everyone heard that, right? Manager, you heard it too, didn’t you?" Her gaze swept to the manager, who was about to shrink back from the doorway, and she spoke, her voice turning slightly cold.

"Heard it, heard it!" The manager wiped the sweat from his forehead, almost bowing to Yu Zijin and her group of young elites.

"Mr. Yang, you will keep your word, won’t you?" Yu Zijin pressed.

"Of course, of course," Yang Cilang nodded contentedly in agreement. "As long as you satisfy my demands, all expenses are on me."

The manager cast a sympathetic glance at the still-smug Yang Cilang before quickly stepping aside. He could already imagine what was about to happen; no need to even think hard about it.

This sort of incident wasn’t new; it had happened countless times before. Everyone perceptive knew to steer clear of Yang Cilang. His three bodyguards, meanwhile, had been quietly escorted away by hotel security.

"And what is this gentleman’s name?" one of the girls asked sweetly.

"I am Yang Cilang," he announced proudly, looking at the beauties who had approached him.

"Mr. Yang Cilang, are you here in Beijing on business?"

"Correct. I am currently negotiating a deal with the Shen Family. In the future, my business will gradually shift from F Country to Beijing. I believe the name Yang Cilang will soon be renowned throughout Beijing." Yang Cilang nodded, boasting. Once the deal with the Shen Family is finalized, my business will steadily expand into the Beijing market. In the future, who wouldn’t know him, Yang Cilang?

While Yu Zijin and a few others kept Yang Cilang occupied with idle chatter, the rest of their friends were already moving swiftly—some digging up information, others arranging to shut him down. Soon, the details about Yang Cilang were uncovered: he was from F Country, head of the Cilang Group. The company specialized in bedding—which perhaps explained why his mind was always in the gutter—and property development. His business was booming back in F Country, and now he aimed to enter the Beijing market by partnering with the Shen Family’s hotel conglomerate to jointly develop new hotels.

"Alright everyone," Yu Zijin said, her gaze shifting, her earlier portrayal of a fragile beauty replaced by something more ominous. "Let’s take good care of Mr. Yang Cilang. Otherwise, he might not cover our bill."

"Ah, Mr. Yang Cilang," one of the girls exclaimed suddenly, "why are you carrying dangerous items with you? This is Beijing, not F Country!"
