CHAPTER 300: CHAPTER 300 GOT INTO YOUR BED(2)_1
"Explain clearly." Shangguan You’s voice was cold. Zhuge Yang and Zhuge Ao were badly injured; there was no way they could have defeated Zhuge Feng. The only possibility was that other people from the Zhuge Family had arrived, and their abilities surpassed Zhuge Yang’s.
"We don’t know the specifics. The Young Master was initially very excited when he saw his former master, but later, when he saw those two old men and that middle-aged man, he drove us all out. We have no idea what happened afterward."
"We were guarding outside when we later heard the Young Master roar, saying he would never willingly go back with them. Then a fight broke out. The Young Master was overpowered and kidnapped. We were about to rescue him when another old man injured us. As they were leaving, they instructed Zhuge Ao to remain in charge of Inferno Sect."
"I also escaped in secret," Huo briefly recounted the events.
"So now Zhuge Ao is in charge of Inferno Sect?" Shangguan You’s lips curled. She had laid countless talismans. Could Zhuge Ao really break them? Even if they have ostensibly submitted to him, he’s merely harboring a pack of wolves, ready to deal a fatal blow when the time is right.
"That’s right. All the brothers expressed their willingness to follow Zhuge Ao, and Zhuge Ao and the two other old men also said they would let bygones be bygones, so they stayed."
"Then why did you still escape?" Shangguan You looked at Huo before her. Had her talismans failed? Were they effective on others but useless on this man?
"I am the Young Master’s most loyal Hidden Guard. Since the Young Master was taken, I naturally followed. Who knew I’d be discovered and injured?" Huo spoke coldly, glancing at the girl in pajamas beside him.
"Mm," Shangguan You responded faintly. She would choose to trust those whom Zhuge Feng trusted. "Do you know where Zhuge Feng has been taken?" she asked faintly.
Huo replied, "I pursued them off the island but was injured and lost their trail. However, I discovered that Zhuge Ao and the two with him were seriously injured. If we strike now, it’s a good opportunity."
"There’s no need. Have you ever heard of the Hidden World Family?" Shangguan You’s slightly cool gaze fixed on Huo. Since he is Zhuge Feng’s most trusted person, he should know some things about him.
"No." Huo paused before speaking slowly. "However, the Young Master once said he hated that place and would never want to return. I don’t even know its location. But seeing those people tonight, they must undoubtedly be from there."
"I understand. Find a place to hide and don’t let them discover you. I’ll handle his situation. Eat these." Shangguan You said faintly, tossing some medicinal pills to him.
"Don’t worry, Miss, I’ll be careful," Huo replied. His black figure flashed and quickly vanished into the night. Watching Huo depart, Shangguan You frowned once more. It seemed Zhuge Feng was indeed from the Zhuge Family. Now that he had been taken, she had to rescue him.
But where was the Zhuge Family located? It seemed she needed to find Third Young Master Ye. For the past three months, Third Young Master Ye had vanished as if into thin air. Where was he now?
"Ye Qiu." Shangguan You called out softly in her room. A black figure swiftly appeared before her – this was one of the Hidden Guards Third Young Master Ye had left for her.
"Miss, what do you need?" Ye Qiu’s icy voice sounded.
"I need to see Third Young Master Ye," Shangguan You stated.
"Yes, I will contact the Young Master right away," Ye Qiu responded. His body once again disappeared from the room. Shangguan You sighed. Her figure flickered, and she quickly left the room, heading into the darkness. Things were getting more and more complicated. She had only had three months of peace. Sigh, and it all started with just one incident at a KTV; how could so many things have happened because of that?
Deep within a dense forest, Inferno Sect was plunged into darkness. Shangguan You navigated her way inside with ease. She had visited this place many times before; it was just under new management now. The fact that Zhuge Ao was willing to take on this responsibility pleased her even more.
Inside a luxurious room, Zhuge Ao anxiously watched Zhuge Yang, who was recuperating. "Master, how are your injuries?"
Zhuge Yang replied, "I’m fine. It’s just that the Spiritual Energy in my body is obstructed. Fortunately, the Young Master cleared the blocked meridians. With proper meditation and rest for a couple of months, I will recover."
Shen Po, who tended to speak slowly, and Zhuge Ao had also sustained injuries that were not light, though not as severe as Zhuge Yang’s.
"Yes! That damned Elder Meihua! Once our injuries heal, following the Family Head’s plan, we’ll ensure she dies without a burial place! COUGH! COUGH! COUGH! That old hag!" Zhuge Ao roared furiously. The outburst aggravated his internal injuries, and he began to cough violently.
"Enough," Zhuge Yang said. "These are not matters for us to concern ourselves with. You should focus on the affairs of Inferno Sect. I will handle the rest."
"This has always been my territory; what’s there for me to worry about?" Zhuge Ao retorted angrily. "When that girl finds out the Family Head captured Fengfeng, she’ll definitely storm the mountain demanding answers. She’s already lost the Water Spirit Bead. How could the three of us be afraid of one little brat?"
"Alright," Zhuge Yang said. "Although the Family Head has treated your injuries, you haven’t fully recovered. Rest for now. We can discuss other matters tomorrow."
"My injuries are mostly healed!" Zhuge Ao argued. "Where do you think the Family Head has taken Fengfeng? And how will the Family Head deal with him?"
"That is not something you should be concerned about. After he returns, he will have his own destiny to face. This has already been decided, and no one can change it," Zhuge Yang said, opening his eyes and speaking gravely to both of them.
"Although you raised Fengfeng, he now has his own fate. His affairs are not for you to meddle in."
"Yes, Master," Shen Po and Zhuge Ao said in unison, exchanging a glance before retreating.
Shangguan You, concealed in the shadows, heard their entire conversation clearly. She kept wondering whether she should use the Truth Curse on Zhuge Yang.
Could she learn Zhuge Feng’s whereabouts from him? The thought flashed through her mind but was quickly dismissed. These spells hadn’t worked on Third Young Master Ye last time. This Zhuge Yang was just as abnormal as Third Young Master Ye; would the spells fail on him too?
He’s severely injured now; he can’t possibly stop me. At this thought, the idea Shangguan You had dismissed moments ago resurfaced. Her hands moved swiftly in mid-air, forming seals. Soundlessly, a spell shot towards Zhuge Yang.
