CHAPTER 316: CHAPTER 316: SUCH A BIG GREEN HAT (3)_1

"Mr. Shen, you’re terrible! Everyone knows you already have a lovely wife at home, and your marital bliss is the envy of all. Yet you still treat me like this." Luoluo pushed Shen Cheng again, pressing her chest tightly against him, her voice a mix of coyness and invitation.

"A lovely wife, huh?" Shen Cheng scoffed, his drunken eyes glancing at the petite woman in his arms. "True, a lovely wife, but I like you too," he added, his words light and teasing.

"Mr. Shen, you’re so naughty," Luoluo cooed flirtatiously. The sound of their banter in the hall was exceptionally jarring. Wanqian’s face turned deathly pale as she watched the pair flirting at the doorway. Agonizing pain twisted in her heart. How could Shen Cheng treat her like this, bringing a vixen right into their home?

"It’s true what they say: women love a bad boy. I didn’t satisfy you, my little vixen, last night, but tonight, I’ll make sure to fulfill all your desires," Shen Cheng teased, pinching the woman in his arms on her buttocks.

"Mr. Shen, you’re so naughty! Pinching me like that... Luoluo doesn’t like it, you know!" Luoluo’s voice was sultry and inviting. "So, you should let me pinch you back, okay? HA HA HA!" Shen Cheng laughed heartily, pulling Luoluo’s hand to his own waist in blatant provocation.

"Mr. Shen, you really are naughty."

"And isn’t my naughtiness exactly what you like?"

"Shen Cheng, how could you do this to me?" Wanqian roared, startling the flirting pair. She strode towards them, yanked the woman from Shen Cheng’s embrace, and slapped her hard across the face.

"Vixen! Did you really think you could touch my man?"

"Mr. Shen! BOO HOO HOO..." Luoluo whimpered, tearfully touching her cheek. She then sank to the floor, looking up at Shen Cheng with a pitiful expression.

"Wanqian?" Hearing her furious shout, Shen Cheng shook his head, looking at the fuming Wanqian with a puzzled expression.

"Who else would it be, some other vixen? Shen Cheng, how could you treat me this way? How could you be so heartless?" Wanqian stared at the drunken Shen Cheng and then at the pitiful-looking vixen on the floor. Waves of anger surged within her; the fury she had just suppressed erupted once more.

"What have I done to you? I just went out for a business gathering, drank too much, and Luoluo brought me home." Shen Cheng loosened his tie, glancing from the tearful Luoluo on the floor to the imperious Wanqian. His frown deepened. He stepped past Wanqian, collapsed onto the couch, and lazily closed his eyes.

"Mr. Shen..."

"Shen Cheng!"

One woman was tear-stained and pitiable, the other seething with rage. Shen Jia’s family of three watched the scene unfold. Duan Mei instructed the servants to prepare a sobering soup, while Shen Congming promptly wrote out a check and told Luoluo to take the money and disappear immediately.

"Mr. Shen, I’ll be going now. Don’t forget what you promised me, okay? I’ll be waiting for you at our usual spot." Luoluo eyed the check with satisfaction, gave Shen Cheng a soft, affectionate smile, then shot Wanqian a provoking grin before swaying her hips and clacking away in her high heels.

"Shen Cheng, is this how you treat me?" Tears welled in Wanqian’s eyes as she watched the other woman leave. Her once gentle eyes now blazed with fury as she stared coldly at Shen Cheng on the couch.

"Wanqian, the company needs to function, and it’s normal for men to have business social engagements. You used to be so understanding. Why are you being so unreasonable and deliberately difficult now? Where did your past gentleness, your tolerance, your composure go? How can you act like a shrew, even resorting to violence?"

Shen Cheng glanced at Wanqian dismissively before closing his eyes again. As soon as he looked at her, the image of Yang Cilang holding her waist, brazenly taking liberties with her, flashed through his mind. Even the sounds Wanqian made in her erotic dreams at night seemed to echo in his ears. These thoughts twisted the comforting words he might have offered into harsh accusations.

"Men need to socialize, yes, but does that extend to a woman’s bed? Socializing? Does it mean bringing another woman home, openly, right in front of me? Is that what you call ’socializing’?" Wanqian yelled, sounding half-crazed. The image of that woman pressing her breasts against Shen Cheng, of him touching that woman’s backside—it all replayed vividly in her mind, fueling her rage, pushing her to the brink of madness, stripping away her reason.

She had been with Shen Cheng for five whole years. Apart from his legitimate marriage to Wanyou, this was the first time he had ever brought another woman home, let alone flirted with one right in her face! How could she possibly maintain any dignity? How could Shen Cheng treat her so contemptuously?

"Bed? You have the audacity to talk about beds? Why don’t you talk about how you crawled into Yang Cilang’s bed yourself? You’re the one willing to use your body to keep men company, willing to trade your body for what you want! Let me tell you, Wanqian, I, Shen Cheng, have never stooped so low as to use my own body to get what I desire."

Shen Cheng shot to his feet, roaring at Wanqian. It was normal for a man like him to have flirtations with women, but Wanqian? He had explicitly told her not to come that night. Yet, she had not only shown up uninvited but had also actively thrown herself at Yang Cilang, willingly letting him take liberties, even agreeing to go with him to the private lounge!

Wanqian was so debased; she had done all that, so what right did she have to criticize him? He had merely touched another woman’s backside; he hadn’t even taken anyone to bed!

She had probably slept with countless men, yet now she had the gall to openly condemn him. Who did she think she was?

"Shen Cheng, how can you say that? Have a conscience! When have I ever climbed into any man’s bed? If it weren’t for you, would I willingly socialize with those men, or let them take liberties with me? Everything I’ve done, I did for you! And now you say such things? Have you no conscience? Where has your conscience gone? Shen Cheng, is this what you call love? Answer me! Say something!"

Wanqian staggered back several steps, her expression one of utter disbelief that Shen Cheng could utter such cruel words. Her tear-drenched face contorted, and she began to look like a wild, crazed shrew.
