Wu Chunmei briefly explained the situation to Gu Yi.

Gu Yi thought Chen Jun’s mother was indeed ruthless, willing to harm even herself to achieve her goals.

She knew that once people saw an old woman with so many bruises, they would naturally sympathize with the weaker party and turn against Li Dongxiang.

"So how is their family now?"

"Chen Jun beat Li Dongxiang so badly over this that she couldn’t get out of bed for days. Chen Jun’s mother is pushing for a divorce, saying that if not, she’ll be tormented to death by Li Dongxiang. Ye Honglian shook her head as she spoke.

Wu Chunmei thought of Li Dongxiang’s usual behavior and felt little sympathy for her.
