"How did you earn this money?"

Xie Qingyi looked at the money in Wang Yuan’s hands.

It was all in tens, looked like a considerable amount.

"Didn’t I draw some design sketches last time? This is the money I earned from those sketches. However, Sister Yi Yi’s friend said he’s not sure how well they’d sell, so he didn’t pay a high price. If they sell well this time, we can discuss the price again in the future."

"So how much did you earn in total for these sketches?"

"Here, I drew 5 sketches, and they gave me 100 yuan."

"Mom, Dad, can we invite Sister Yi Yi too? I want to thank her; if it wasn’t for her help, I wouldn’t have been able to earn this."

"Sure, go ahead and invite her. Consider it a thank you from us as well."

Wang Yuan’s dad was willing to do anything to make his daughter happy.

Xie Qingyi nodded in agreement.

"We should really thank Gu Yi, I’ll give her a call."

Wang Yuan had written Gu Yi’s number in their family phone book.

Xie Qingyi dialed the number directly.

When Gu Yi received the call, she knew Wang Yuan had told her family something.

Ye Fu explained their reason for returning to the Gu Family’s parents.

"Isn’t Ye Qian’s shop going to continue?"

Gu’s father was a bit regretful, having heard the business at Ye Qian’s shop was good.

"She wants to develop over there, and as parents, we can only listen to the younger generation. We’re back this time for her shop’s matters; we’re moving some machines to B City to save buying new ones."

"That’s true; when the children are young, they listen to us. When they grow up, we listen to them. As parents, we only need to do logistics. But how will you transport the machines there?"

Gu’s father thought about how far it was to transport the machines to B City.

"We found a big truck in B City, which brought us back together. Once we pack up, we’ll head back."

"Do you need help moving them?"

"No need, no need. I’ve already found people to help. Besides, there’s another favor I want from you."

Ye Fu was a bit embarrassed.

"What favor? Just tell me."

Gu’s father didn’t think it was a big deal; there were surely many things to handle with them moving to B City.

"The thing is, after moving everything out of Qian’s shop, the place will be empty. We were thinking of renting it out, but we can’t stay to wait."

"Do you want us to help rent it out? That’s not a problem at all. When the boys come back tonight, I’ll ask them to look into it."

When Gu’s father heard what Ye Fu said, he quickly replied.

"Great, thank you so much, in-laws. I’ll put up a notice with your phone number on it at the shop door. I’ll bring over the keys, and if someone wants to see the place, you can just show them around."

"Sure, that’s not troublesome at all. I don’t have much to do now; if someone wants to see it, I’ll just open the door for them."

Gu’s father said readily.

Ye Fu said as he stood up to leave.

The Gu Family’s parents knew they were in a hurry to move things, so they didn’t hold him back.

"It’s good that they went, they can look after Yiyi too."

Gu’s mother mumbled after Ye Fu left, once she sat back down.

Gu’s father didn’t say anything, but he thought more than Gu’s mother.

Originally, Gu Yi used to live with the Ye Family’s parents.

Back then, Ye Hao wasn’t home, and Gu Yi and Ye Hao wouldn’t argue over trivial matters.

So Gu Yi got along well with the Ye Family.

Now that Gu Yi and Ye Hao are both in B City.

When a couple is together, conflicts are bound to happen.

He was worried that with the Ye Family there, issues arising might create disharmony at home.

Seeing how optimistic Gu’s mother was, he didn’t share his concerns with her.

After returning home, Ye Fu quickly arranged for people to move the machines onto the truck.
