By the time Ye’s mother and Ye Qian arrived, Ye Hao had almost finished eating.

"Brother, you’ve eaten so early. Mom and I thought you hadn’t woken up yet, so we brought breakfast for you."

Ye Qian showed them the breakfast she had brought.

Ye’s mother thanked him promptly.

"Ye Hao, I’ll come to see you after I finish making the rounds, Auntie, I need to get back to work."

Yang Lin spoke to Ye Hao and greeted Ye’s mother.

"What’s wrong with this Yang Lin, acting like she’s so familiar with us."

Ye Qian also knew that it was Yang Lin who set up her sister-in-law last time.

Ye Hao shot her a cold look.

"Why, did I say something wrong?"

Ye Qian was startled by her brother’s expression, feeling as if she had done something wrong.

"Qianqian, could you please get some water for me?"

"Mom, can you go check on Dad, see if he’s still in the ward?"

He found another excuse to send Ye’s mother out.

"Ye Hao, do you remember what Yang Lin did?"

When the room was left with just the two of them, Gu Yi sat opposite Ye Hao.

She truly felt that Ye Hao was behaving strangely.

The moment Gu Yi ran out of the door.

Ye Hao also opened his eyes.

He thought, it should be her fault in the first place, so why is it that when he just mentioned it, she felt so wronged?

When Ye Qian returned with the boiled water, she saw Gu Yi rushing out of the ward, seemingly crying.

Sister-in-law endured so much for you, for our family, and now it seems you’re turning your back on us."

Ye Qian got more and more upset as she spoke.

"I will divorce her. We are not suitable."

As soon as Ye Hao said this, Ye Qian was dumbfounded.

Is this still her brother standing in front of her?

The loving scenes between them were still fresh in her memory. How could her brother be talking about divorce now?

Ye’s mother pushed open the door with Ye Fu’s support.
