Chapter 122 - 121: Guild Registration
CHAPTER 122: CHAPTER 121: GUILD REGISTRATION
Axelius held the thick brown book in his hands. The guild woman stood behind the desk, tapping her pen on a wooden clipboard while waiting From the outside, it looked like Axelius was just flipping through pages like any curious traveler.
"I copied everything." Owen said
Axelius nodded and He turned to a few specific pages of the book.
In the Kingdom of Archantia, children awaken their class at age 7 and must register at the nearest guild.
Registration was not just a formality — it was the law. Whether noble or commoner, awakened children needed to be recorded and ranked, mostly for safety and control.
As long as they could pay the registration fee and pass the basic test, they could receive a rank and take beginner quests. Level didn’t matter at first.
The guild used colored ranks to divide strength. Most new kids started at Bronze or Trainee, depending on the result of their test. From there, they could level up by completing quests and showing results.
In Archantia, age didn’t matter in the guild — only money and merit.
As long as someone paid the right fee, passed the test, and held a valid guild ID, they had the legal right to recruit or build their own party or team.

Axelius stared at the words silently, then flipped to another page explaining merchant rights.
He closed the book and placed it back on the desk. The woman behind the counter raised an eyebrow. "Finished already?"
Axelius looked up. "Where do I register?"
She blinked, surprised at how quickly he understood the content. "You want to register now?"
"Yes."
The woman nodded, reached under the desk, and pulled out a short form and a small mana stone pen. "Alright. Fill this out. Name, age, class if you have one, and any previous quests or titles—if you don’t have any, just write ’None.’ "
Axelius sat down at the side desk near the counter. The woman gave him a mana-ink pen that glowed softly in his fingers. The form in front of him was plain, but every stroke of the pen made the letters glow slightly as if sealing them with magic.
He took a quiet breath and began to write.
Full Name: Axelius Dravenhart
Age: 11
Class: None
Place of Origin: Virewyn Town
Race: Human
Occupation:
[He paused for a moment, then left it blank.]
Affiliation: None
Purpose of Registration: Access to City Facilities & Workshop Licensing
Identification Code: [To be filled by official]
He slowly signed his name at the bottom. His handwriting was clean, simple, and straight.
After Axelius handed the paper to the receptionist, the woman carefully scanned his details. Once she was satisfied that everything was filled out correctly—his name, age, purpose, and origin—
Her gaze stopped at the last name. She blinked.
"...Dravenhart?" she murmured aloud, her voice soft but enough to make the other receptionist look over.
The second receptionist leaned in, eyes widening. She quickly covered her mouth and whispered, "Wait... He’s a Dravenhart? Are you serious?"
The first receptionist straightened in her seat, her expression stiff. Her hands trembled slightly as she looked up at the young man in front of her.
"I-I apologize," she said quickly, standing and bowing slightly. "I didn’t recognize you, Young Lord Axelius. Please forgive the delay."
People in the guild lobby turned to look. The name had already started to spread.
"Dravenhart? Did she say Dravenhart?"
A few more whispers followed as the other receptionist moved from her desk, whispering hurriedly to nearby adventurers.
"The Grand Duke’s son?"
Axelius sighed. He reached for the hood of his cloak and pulled it down, revealing his black hair. A short silence followed. Then one adventurer near the back scoffed.
"tsk, it’s just the black-haired Dravenhart."
"Right... he’s the one with no mana core, isn’t he?"
"Basically a commoner."
"Shhh, quiet. He’s still the Grand Duke’s son. Watch your mouth."
At that, the room slowly returned to normal, though many still threw glances his way.
Axelius looked at the receptionist again, "...Can you hurry it up?" he asked,
She gave him a small nod and placed the form on the pile behind the desk. "You’ve completed the written registration, but before your application is fully accepted, you will need to undergo a basic evaluation, as is the rule for all new members joining the Heartstone Guild."
She smiled a little more brightly this time, her voice lifting in practiced rhythm as she began to explain the next step.
"You see, here in Virewyn’s Heartstone Guild, all adventurers, regardless of age or background, must complete one of two kinds of tests in order to receive their official guild card and be granted access to quests and city facilities connected to our guild system. These tests are designed to make sure that even new recruits understand the responsibilities and dangers of adventuring."
Axelius gave a silent nod.
The receptionist raised two fingers, continuing her explanation. "There are two paths you can choose for your evaluation," she said. "The first one is a theoretical and practical test, and the second is a practical-only test. The choice is yours, but you must think carefully."
She tapped a folder in front of her and lifted the first form.
"If you choose the theoretical and practical test, you will begin by answering questions on paper. These questions cover basic knowledge such as monster types, safe travel, survival methods, how to identify herbs, city law for adventurers, and general quest etiquette.
After finishing that part, you will be given a beginner’s quest from the guild to complete, most likely something small within the town."
