Throughout the morning, Gu Lingling did not see He Jijun. However, Zhang Shiqiang and Liu Zhi, along with the later arriving Tang Qing, took good care of her, explaining what the engineering department does and providing her with some materials to study.

Basically, there wasn’t much else to do.

As for that Tang Wei, he still behaved coldly.

At lunchtime, Gu Lingling took her lunchbox to the agreed meeting place. On the way, she ran into Hao Lianlian, "How was your morning?"

"Pretty good," Hao Lianlian replied, "There’s just one person who’s hard to get along with, always loves to argue with people. How about you?"

"The room is full of male colleagues," Gu Lingling chuckled, "But they’re all quite easy to get along with."

"Went to have lunch," Gu Lingling replied with her head down.

"Alright, now I’ll brief everyone," He Jijun said from the front passenger seat, "There’s a problem at the factory that needs us to solve. The division of work is the same as last time. Lingling, since it’s your first day, just try to adapt, observe, and learn as much as you can. If there’s anything you don’t understand, ask your senior brothers."

"Let me tell you, Lingling is a junior I specifically poached from the factory. You better not bully her."

"Director, how could we!" Liu Zhi said with a laugh, "It’s not easy for a junior sister to join us, it’s only natural for us to care for her, isn’t it?"

"I’ll count on all of you senior brothers to look after me more in the future," Gu Lingling said with a smile.

Tang Wei snorted, turning his head towards the window, ignoring Gu Lingling.

Liu Zhi shrugged at Gu Lingling.
