As the Black-winged Angel spoke, his eyes glittered with an uncontrollable excitement.

Feeling the intensity of the Angel’s emotions, the Sun God Apollo unconsciously began to radiate a blinding light from his body.

"I understand everything you’ve said. Before Her Majesty Aurelia becomes a true god, I have always followed in her footsteps with unwavering faith," Apollo responded.

"From the very beginning, I believed that the path of Aurelia is the only one capable of saving this world."

As Apollo spoke, his mind involuntarily drifted back to ten thousand years ago, to the time when he first met Her Majesty Aurelia. Back then, Aurelia had been but a weak Angel of Gold and Silver. Even so, when faced with Apollo, she had shown no fear.

What was even more remarkable was that even back then, she had already fixed her goal on saving the world. She wished to save all living beings and lead the world to the true path of redemption.

Even then, the radiance of Aurelia was dazzling. She was so pure, so perfect, with a heart steadfast and unaffected by any external forces.

Ten thousand years ago, Apollo had already sensed that this young Angel of Gold and Silver would one day become the most powerful being in the world.

Suppressing these memories deep within his heart, Apollo extended his power into the portal. However, the moment his energy entered, an immense surge of dark energy flooded toward it.

Apollo’s once radiant flames immediately morphed into deep, abyssal black flames. The black darkness, upon touching Apollo’s massive form, caused his body to crack even further.

"It seems I truly don’t have much time left." Apollo muttered grimly. "The desecration of the divine is something I cannot contain."

The Black-winged Angel nodded gently.

"Yes, even having become a semi-god, I too cannot bear the weight of too much divine corruption."

"But as long as we share this corruption, the gods of the Inner World should be temporarily suppressed."

"I must admit, Her Majesty Aurelia’s plan is indeed insane. But since we’ve chosen to follow her, we must never question her."

"If one day, Aurelia truly manages to replace the gods of the Inner World, perhaps she will be able to ascend further and become the most powerful existence in this world."

"I look forward to that day!"

"Yes, I too eagerly await it," the Black-winged Angel said.
