CHAPTER 334: CHAPTER 334: FOXY PLEASURES

Kael raised his brow. Wasn’t this Ken’s mate? Vixy’s former assistant? The one who had left her position as one of Vixy’s assistants?

Yes, this was the one that had left Vixy to become Ken’s partner, Kael remembered. He recalled thinking that Ken was an Ice Fox while she was a Fire Fox and that they were not really compatible.

Even then, they had chosen to be life partners as foxes do. Kael had not interfered with their lives as long as his own goals were going according to plan.

It was a tragedy that Vixy had acted before thinking and orchestrated Ken’s assassination. The King had lost an asset and this fox had lost her lover.

"Greetings, what’s your name?" Kael asked as he looked around curiously.

He had detected her some time ago while he was talking with Oliver and had directed her to stay put so that he would come to her.

She was the same power level as Oliver, although they had vastly different combat abilities. Oliver might just kill her with ease if he were to fight her.

Alas, the survival of the foxes lay not in their combat abilities as they were affiliated with a less flashy Law.

"My name? Sofia, Your Majesty," The fox responded.

She had her head bowed. As soon as she saw the king, she greeted him and avoided eye contact with him ever since.

Kael noticed this and could not help but spread his spirit sense to the surface of her mind.

"Chloe is waiting for us, let’s go," Kael said and waited for Sofia to lead the way.

Sofia nodded, she swiftly changed into her humanoid form. She became a feminine figure with two fiery red fox ears and three fluffy fox tails behind her.

With her back facing Kael and Katari, Sofia walked forward.

Kael’s eyes lingered on Sofia’s body but his mind lingered on her surface thoughts.

Kael could sense feelings of distrust and suppressed anger from Sofia and Kael could guess why she felt like this.

She had been at the mountain the day Ken was killed. Kael didn’t know where she was at that time but he guessed that she wasn’t that far away given that she was Ken’s assistant too.

To see her boss and life partner alive one moment, then dead the next was visually shocking. She had been stunned and could not talk throughout that day.

She had common sense and her common sense told her that Vixy was responsible for Ken’s death.

But she couldn’t do anything about it. After Ken died, she lost her status as his assistant and her privileges as a high-status fox.

Vixy remained high and mighty and there was nothing she could do about it except complain.

N’bayé and Priya had orchestrated a fake trial where they found a wolf called Duller guilty of murdering a high-status personnel of the kingdom and sentenced him to death.

This was supposed to serve as a calming factor for the subjects of the kingdom amidst the campaign to conquer the beach.

But Sofia knew that Vixy was the one behind it, Vixy was the only one who never hid her hatred for Ken and her desire to end him.

What could she do? The King’s consort had spoken and it would be bad to speak against them.

The joy she got when she found out that Kael had returned to the mountain and dealt with Vixy was unspeakable. She had even hoped for Kael to kill Vixy for her, but Kael did not do so.

Instead, rumors spread that King Kael had given Madam Vixy a troubling task of recruiting every fox that had ever slept in the forest.

It was a gruesome punishment, one that Sofia did not imagine Vixy could complete at all.

Still, that punishment was light compared to the death she had envisioned for Vixy. So much did she want revenge. Resentment gathered within her and had been brewing ever since.

She felt that Kael had been unjust and should serve out a better, final punishment. Seeing King Kael today, she tried to hide her disgruntled feelings. To her, the upper echelons of the kingdom were corrupt, which was why Icy could get away with her crimes.

She was one of the few creatures in the kingdom comprehending the issue of corruption. All these creatures, including Sofia, were wasting their time.

Corruption was the manipulation of set rules for selfish interests. That there should be corruption in the kingdom implied that there were a lot of rules to be broken.

False, there were not many rules at all, just a few that were not easily broken. This was intentional on Kael’s part, strength justified everything as it was now, it removed the unnecessary bureaucracy and allowed him to focus on other issues instead of adjusting and reviewing policies every day.

Sofia, thinking that there was corruption in the Kingdom, was just her trying to cope with her weakness. It was the same as a poor person finding virtue and goodness in poverty just because he or she isn’t rich.

She was coping.

Kael smiled as he figured everything out. It seemed like the drama would never end and he was not planning on stopping it.

In the midst of all the Conquering and fighting, it was fine to come back to some entertainment every once in a while, Vixy and her shenanigans were the right relief, as long as she didn’t overstep her boundaries.

Kael decided to keep an eye on this fox later on, she might do something interesting.

Kael’s golden gaze went up and down, The foxes were always so handsome or beautiful in their humanoid forms. Even Sofia looked breathtaking according to human standards.

The brief view he had of her face, her round head, big eyes, and puffy cheeks, came together to form a beautiful face that could rival Vixy’s.

Looking at her backside, those bubbly round asses that went up and down with every step she took. All she would have to do was bend down to expose the entrance to her body.

The two bubbling butt cheeks were occasionally covered by the three swerving red tails that started at the end of her spine.

Kael’s eyes trailed her thighs, appreciating the form...

"Kael, do you want her?" Katari suddenly asked Kael through a private channel.

Kael was pulled out of his gaze and stared at Katari who looked at him with curiosity.

"No, I’m just admiring her and her race as a whole," Kael said truthfully.

"But you can get her if you want, no one would stop you," Katari said as she tilted her head.

Kael raised his eyebrows in a questioning fashion,

"It’s not like you are obligated to them, you could enjoy yourself and forget about it," Katari added.

She probably didn’t understand that others in her position would be choked with jealousy.

Kael shook his head, "You’re right, but I don’t have the time or desire for such. Even if I wanted to, I have standards," He said.

Sofia and other foxes were generally beautiful and attractive compared to other creatures. Even his lionesses were not as attractive as the foxes.

Maybe Olivia in terms of body and Zabita in terms of facial beauty but that was it.

The fox caste was like an organization of supermodels, and for some reason, they could be quite oblivious to how impressive they looked.

If Kael was really interested in enjoying foxy pleasures, he would have indulged Vixy a long time ago. It would have further justified his killing of Ivan.

But he didn’t simply because he wasn’t attracted to her or any other fox at that time.

’Hmm,’ A strange thought found its way into Kael’s head, causing a glimmer of lust to shade his eyes. However, it was ruthlessly crushed before it could even affect his mind.

’I might be able to guess what Law the foxes are affiliated with,’ Kael’s thought returned to that of power.

Kael had visions of what he wanted to do and paid attention to anything that might try to distract him.

His vision for other Primordials was something that he had to focus on and ensure it became a reality. He would find Marcus at a later date, what mattered was that he had confirmed the existence of the Primordial Vulture.

Now, he wondered if he could find the Primordials of other creatures of his caste; Primordial Fox, Primordial Wolf, Primordial Elephant, and so on.

If he could find all of them, Kael couldn’t imagine the kind of power he might have access to. His abilities would scale far beyond just the Law of Conquering and he would gain powerful subordinates.

Finding them was the issue. Kael doubted if he would see another Primordial on this planet. It was extremely unlikely for it to happen.

This was another reason Kael had that would push him to eventually leave this world. A time might come when Eridoria could no longer offer him anything, till then...

Marcus couldn’t escape if he thought of doing so, as long as he was on this planet, Kael could eventually find him.

Unless the spatial distortion and barriers that Aziza had placed faded, no one could leave this planet, and no one could get in.

"We’re here, Your Majesty," Sofia said.
