Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 339: The Best Time
CHAPTER 339: CHAPTER 339: THE BEST TIME
Different parts of the peach valley shook and the clouds had stopped moving. A total of sixty-two roars were heard, and each of them was accompanied by the rising aura of a tier 4 tiger.
This was unprecedented, a total of sixty-two tier 4 tigers were activated with that single roar from Constantyne.
The tier 3 tigers, all who had their own territories, were confused, what had happened that Constantyne would call for all these tier 4 tigers at the same time. It was rare for all of them to be active at once.
Indeed, the high presence of Origin Essence in the peach valley had been greatly beneficial to all of them.
Sixty-two tier 4 tigers, that was a lot and it was a force that almost no outside force would be able to contend with.
How were they even supposed to contend with them? Each tier four was comparable to a city destroying bomb when going all out. That meant the tigers had sixty-two city sale destroyers just laying around.
It was no wonder why they had been able to keep this place to themselves all these years.
All who had opposed them had simply been crushed with overwhelming might.
But despite this impressive show of might, some people were only mildly impressed.
At the place where Kael’s silver magic shuttle was parked above the peach trees, the sound of roars had reached them here.
If anything, the creatures here only seem mildly disturbed.
Kael stood at the top of the magic shuttle, at the edge where his feet were only a few inches away from the empty air.
He had his hands behind his back and his eyes closed as he basked in the evening light of the dipping sun.
His clothes fluttered effortlessly due to the cool breeze. Kael had been enjoying a rare moment of peace and serenity when he heard Constantyne’s roar.
He had frowned, feeling that his peace had been disturbed. Actually, he was greatly disturbed because he could sense that the owner of that first roar was beyond the tier 4 power level. Kael’s expression grew serious.
However, the sixty two roars from the tier 4 tigers didn’t surprise Kael that much. He had expected that the tigers would have a lot of high leveled entities in their ranks and it had been confirmed.
Kael had even guessed that there should be more than this but a lot of them had left the Peach Valley for different reasons. They did not like the wild plains so they tended to not stay anywhere beyond the border of the peach valley.
Those that traveled out rarely came back, but that was not the main reason why they were not as much as Kael thought they would be.
It was because of their reproduction abilities.
The stronger an entity was, the longer their lifespans became. The longer their lifespans, the less need their body had to continue their legacy and live on through their offspring.
The higher the tier, the lower the birth rate. And with the Tiger Logic and their low tolerance for weaklings, it was reasonable that this was the number they had right now.
Still, sixty-two was an impressive number that got Kael’s attention. Handling them would be difficult.
Very very very difficult.
It didn’t matter if Kael was acting calm right now, he really didn’t know how he was supposed to handle this. His plan has been thrown off course and he was currently improvising, acting on his common sense and ambition.
He had extracted the memories of the captured spirit tiger, rendering the tiger completely useless and worse off than a dead person. From the memories, Kael had gleamed into the inner workings of the tiger society and how they operated.
The knowledge wasn’t everything Kael wanted but it was enough.
Behind Kael, two humanoid females stood expressionlessly. Both were shorter than him but still six feet tall or taller.
They had heard the roars and were mildly disturbed.
Katari merely looked in the direction of Constantyne’s roar, as if to acknowledge the presence of a serious threat. Her yellow eyes were calm and her lips were pressed against each other.
Killing intent flashed for a moment before disappearing.
Beside her, Chloe also seemed indifferent but that was just because she was used to this kind of thing. In heaven, a lot of tier 4 lions roared out loud all the time and she had heard the roars of stronger beings before.
A daring and playful thought suddenly came to her mind. She turned her hazel eyes to Kael and asked, "Do you want to roar too?"
Kael’s head turned slightly, enough for Chloe to see his smirk on his face.
"No, it’s not worth it," Kael said. It would be unwise to do so. Acting nonchalant was different from being nonchalant, Kael was just acting.
The feeling of power and pride he would get from roaring back at them would be exhilarating but it would also be short-lived.
"Should we inform N’bayé and others to come and act as reinforcement?" Katari asked seriously.
Kael shook his head, "Even if we did, would it matter? These are sixty-two tigers at the tier 4 stage, what do they want to come and do, die?
N’bayé, Priya, and some others might survive but everyone else is just cannon fodder.
It’s better to leave them at the bloody field to continue their feast." Kael said, sighing as he felt the pressure on his body increasing.
He might actually die here, that realization was starting to set in very fast.
"But we have the magic shuttle, we can still work things out," Chloe said. She had been operating the magic shuttle for most of the time and knew how powerful it was.
It was a combat-model, designed for attack and defense in different situations. This was something the tigers didn’t have, or rather, didn’t have access to.
"I know, but we are trying to get into the Arkship.
If we stay outside to fight all of them without anyone getting in, even the magic shuttle wouldn’t be able to last under the combined attacks of so many of them.
Not to mention the owner of that first roar is above tier 4, most likely tier 5. The magic shuttle is not going to be enough at all," Kael said.
"Then, what are we going to do?" Chloe asked. "Do we still need to get the arkship now? We could just wait until we are all stronger, then we can storm the place."
"We can do that, but the tigers would not sit still. They prioritize individual might more than anything, they would continue training and getting stronger even if they do not have an enemy to fight.
The only way to stop them from training is if they die," Kael said.
He had read the memories from that spirit tiger and knew a bit about the history of the tigers.
Currently, there were three tigers that were at the tier 5 stage. The number of tier 4 tigers had not been known to the spirit tiger as they did not really mingle around to count them all.
According to the memories, there had been much more tier 5 in the past. At some point, there had been ten tier 5 tigers. All of them died of old age, injuries, or in battle.
None of them were able to make it to the tier 6 stage despite the environment they were in.
The tigers had no natural predators here, they should only keep on growing until this world could not contain them any longer. Alas, just as this place was a blessing, it also had restrictions.
The Origin Essence here was not at the free-state standard to allow them continue evolving without end.
For that to happen, they’d have to remove the arkship from where it was...
The fact remained that even if the tier 5 tigers could not continue getting stronger, the tier 4 tigers would not be that restricted and some of them would eventually catch up
Soon, there will be more tier 5. Kael was not confident that he could match up to that growth speed without the right resources.
This was one of the weakest times in the tigers’ society, even though they were still stronger than most.
This was the best time to come here, no other time after now would be safe.
"We must strike now, but we won’t be going in blindly," Kael stated as he turned around to face the two lionesses.
"Chloe, how long do you think it would take you to evolve?" Kael asked with a tone of seriousness.
Chloe was stunned, evolution wasn’t that easy that it could be timed, " I don’t know, why?"
"I’m formulating a plan, you’re the one most familiar with Lion technology among us, you’d be the one to get into the Arkship and find whatever you need to control it as soon as possible." Kael said, his eyes gleaming with ambition and intelligence.
"What?" Chloe stuttered. If she tried to do what Kael said, she would receive the focused attacks of the tigers all at once.
Kael shook his head, "That’s not all..."
