Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 371: Peach Island
CHAPTER 371: CHAPTER 371: PEACH ISLAND
Down below, away from the arkship.
The planet of Eridoria had just one supermassive continent that covered about thirty percent of the planet’s surface.
This continent was quite large and was home to a good number of land-based creatures.
Before the rise of the arkship, most of these creatures were confined to the supercontinent, surrounded by a body of water and not knowing what lay ahead.
But with the advancement of magic technology and the world domination campaign, a lot of creatures who were strong enough could afford to leave the continent.
As for what lay beyond this supercontinent? It wasn’t just water and an endless ocean. There were a series of islands, archipelagos formed at different corners of the ocean millions of billions of years ago.
These numerous islands were starting to be occupied by the various creatures who could get here.
Some of the islands even served as a caste base for some interesting creatures that the lions had subjugated some time ago.
One of these numerous islands, one of the bigger ones housed the penguin caste and another was the base for the Seal caste.
However, out of the numerous islands that dotted the ocean, one of these islands stood out.
It was the biggest island on Eridoria, scaling up to six thousand kilometers in diameter.
What made it peculiar was the biome it had. From afar, it looked like one big mass of pink stuff.
Upon getting closer, one would see that this pink stuff was actually the flower blossoms of peach trees.
Indeed, the island was filled from one end to the other with peach trees. The pink blossoms created a striking visage from afar.
Even when one stepped onto the island, they would be awed by the sight. The atmosphere on this island carried a unique fragrance, the kind that would instantly cause one to let their guard down.
Far away from the peach island, three objects zoomed over, streaking through the sky and leaving a blazing trail behind them.
These three objects were quite large, despite their speed, with one being up to one thousand meters long.
These three objects were magic shuttles.
They flew in a standard triangular formation, one ahead and two by the side.
The shuttle that flew ahead was a familiar one, having that distinct red and black colored exterior as well as that brutalistic design.
It was the Iron Blood Shuttle, the shuttle that Kael had inherited from the Iron Blood Pyramid.
It streaked through the air coldly, giving off that aura of ruthlessness and absolute efficiency. It was solemn, dark, and mighty.
Flanking the Iron Blood Shuttle from behind were two different shuttles. Both were hybrid cruise-combat models.
One had a silver sheen to its hull, adopting the same design and patterns as the Iron Blood Shuttle. On the side of the shuttle was a marking or a symbol shaped like the head of a wolf.
The other magic shuttle was completely black in color, barely reflecting the light of the sun from above. It carried the powerful and invasive aura of death.
On the left and right sides of the black magic shuttle, symbols shaped like a vulture in mid-flight could be seen.
It was clear that the silver magic shuttle belonged to the wolves and the black magic shuttle belonged to the vultures.
Within thirty seconds, the three magic shuttles had already made their way to the peach island.
They slowed down upon getting to the rock cliffs, casting their enormous shadows upon the land and the pink blossoms.
Together, they brought about a deep and suffocating pressure, forcing the weak grasses to be pressed to the ground.
The three magic shuttles cruised over the trees, heading straight in one direction.
Down below, different creatures that had been commissioned to take care of this Peach Island looked up in awe. Those were the primary shuttles used by the leaders, it wasn’t every day they got to see such.
Most of them were creatures who had the power of vegetation, assigned to keep these trees healthy and to make sure they kept on producing the valuable peach fruits.
After the ascension of the arkship two years ago, the peach valley had been completely destroyed with only a few fruits and seeds managing to survive.
Kael had forgotten about it and never bothered to check it. Marcus had sensed something was wrong but also forgot about it over time and never spoke of it.
The person to eventually take it seriously was Nalii. Nalii had been tailing the different herd creatures that had just joined the kingdom at that time when the Origin Essence erupted globally.
She had curiously followed the herd as they suddenly headed in that same direction, seemingly sensing something.
It had taken some time but they eventually found what was left of the peach valley, the desolate ruins, burnt tree stumps, and a deep ravine.
Nalii was shocked to find the amount of lifeforce contained within those strewn peach fruits and seeds that had survived the disaster.
She had immediately alerted Kael, requesting immediate reinforcement to take over the place before the herd creatures stupidly ate everything.
With the help of her lion kin, she was able to quickly secure the place and take the seeds and fruits for herself.
The next month, she succeeded in evolving to the tier 4 stage, all thanks to the peaches.
Kael naturally noticed the value of these peaches. After extending his world domination ambition into the ocean, he had selected this island to be used to recover the peaches so that they could be mass-produced.
Nalii was selected to lead the project as there was no one else who would be competent with it. She had then recruited various creatures to work on the island all year round.
Thanks to their powers, the peach trees rapidly grew and were able to produce succulent and power-rich fruits within the year. Thanks to them, the peach trees kept blooming at all times and they never stopped producing fruits.
The lion royalty held control of these peach fruits, deciding which merchant sub-caste got to buy and sell them.
Thanks to the peach fruits and other exotic plants and herbs, the herbivores of Eridoria were not left far behind on the path of evolution.
The three magic shuttles soon reached their destination, the center of the island.
Here, a wooden pyramid stood, its size was small, barely a hundred meters wide.
The land around it for five kilometers was completely cleared and devoid of any vegetation.
The three magic shuttles stopped in front of the wooden pyramid, hovering in the air silently as their oppressive aura poured out.
Suddenly, clinking sounds were heard from the wolf and vulture shuttles beside the Iron Blood Shuttle.
The hatches underneath the two shuttles opened up. Shortly after, a group of humanoid creatures fell down in a soft beam of light, landing softly on the ground without causing any destruction.
On one side was a group of bald people, seven in total. Both the men and women were bald and had hooked faces like a bird.
Their eyes were sharp and intense, staring calmly to their side where the other group was.
This was the vulture group, and all except their leader possessed a power level equivalent to a tier 3 lion.
The leading humanoid stood in front of all of them, his skin was pale, like a sick patient. His appearance set him apart from the others.
He wore a simple black trench coat with fitting black trousers to match and a pair of black boots. His chest was bare, exposed to the wind.
His pure black eyes with white rings in them gazed at the other group.
The other group was less gloomy than the vultures who all wore black. These humanoids wore various colors as clothing.
Their heads were decorated with wolf ears and behind them, fluffy wolf tails wagged.
Their leader was the familiar Commander Bibi. He had changed a bit since the last two years.
He had way more scars on his body, as one could see from his bare chest. The only clothing he wore was his baggy black trousers.
His height was as imposing as ever, towering over the other humanoid wolves. He folded his hands against his chest, unknowingly flexing his muscles.
His nose twitched and his eyes scanned the environment, scanning for any signs of danger. Not that it would matter in this case.
Commander Bibi had the aura of a tier 4 wolf and Marcus was currently suppressing his aura. However, it was certain that his power level was above tier 4.
Then, the Iron Blood Shuttle chimed with life as the hatch beneath the shuttle opened up.
A soft blue beam fell from the hatch as three humanoid beings floated down from the shuttle. They descended like gods from heaven, coming to bestow judgment on the mortal world.
One male two females. Very familiar faces.
The female on the right was slightly chubby with neck-length curly blonde hair. She had a small smile on her small lips as her yellow eyes scanned the area
She wore a simple white gown that draped down to her knees.
The female on the left was slightly taller. She had short spiky pink hair and gave off a tomboyish vibe with the way she stood.
Her attire was a brown leather jacket with tight black leggings and an inner white shirt.
Her eyes were fierce and her limbs seemed restless, like she needed to move and couldn’t keep still.
Olivia and Ruda.
As for the tall man in between them...
