Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 379: Young Prince
CHAPTER 379: CHAPTER 379: YOUNG PRINCE
The black magic shuttle quietly hovered above the peach trees, stopping in place.
It got the attention of those caste leaders camping below. They raised their heads to see a very familiar design and an equally familiar symbol underneath the shuttle.
It was the symbol of a crown, a golden crown. This was a symbol used to represent the consorts. And from the design of the shuttle which a lot of caste leaders were now familiar with, they knew that this was Priya’s personal shuttle.
After the gains of all those resources within the arkship, Kael had a lot of shuttles at his disposal and at certain times he didn’t know what to do with all of them.
Apart from aiding in his conquest, Kael decided to give each caste leader their own personal shuttle. The caste leaders were naturally happy and thankful for this, it was another privilege of being a caste leader that they enjoyed.
He also gave Burdo, the only Lion Prince of the Ol-mytee Clan, his own personal shuttle.
After that, there were still a lot of shuttles around and unless they were commissioned for a particular mission or objective, they were usually left alone.
So Kael ended up giving each of his consorts their own shuttles. There was no strategic purpose behind it as they could literally just use any shuttle they wanted.
Not to mention that the lionesses spent most of their time around the king when they weren’t doing other things.
The busiest among them was probably Nalii, N’bayé, and Priya. The rest of them, like Olivia and Katari, had their lives revolving around Kael’s movement.
Giving them their personal shuttles was more of a symbolic thing, something that just made many lionesses thirst for the consort status.
At least, Priya seems to be putting her shuttle to good use.
The bottom of the black shuttle had a hatch that opened up to let down a soft beam of blue light.
Six beings descended down this blue light, all humanoids. One of these beings was tall and had the body of an adult while the rest were small and child-like.
They were Priya, Jeremiah, Silas, Alyrat, Wei, and Ozia.
While the rest landed softly on the grass, Ozia’s feet lit up with levitation runes and he hovered gently a few meters above the ground.
He didn’t wait for the others, he simply folded his hands against his little chest and quietly floated over to the camp.
He had a small smirk on his face, watching all these beings look at him in envy and awe. For a brief moment, he forgot that he was here to report himself to his father.
Priya and the rest ignored Ozia’s attempt to gain attention. It wasn’t something that was surprising.
They gently stepped out of the forest , walking with the grace and elegance befitting queens and princes.
"Mother should be here," Jeremiah said solemnly. He would have preferred if he didn’t have to report himself in front of his mother.
"Good day, Young Prince," One of the pigs hurriedly greeted as he quickly approached Ozia’s floating form and went down on his knees.
Ozia wasn’t even a bona fide Prince yet, but this pig humanoid was treating him like a god.
Everyone knew that as long as nothing went wrong, which was very likely, Ozia would become great in the future.
The lions hold a firm control and monopoly over politics and governance. They decided who is the caste leader and they vote on who becomes the sub-caste leader.
It was also the lions that received the tributes and also decided the amount of tributes any caste would have to give.
Ozia was bound to be a high-ranking lion in the future as long as nothing surprising happened.
Hopefully, for the sake of the creatures who were fawning over Ozia, no surprises...
Ozia looked down at the humanoid pig man kneeling before him. He smiled, enjoying the moment.
"What is it? Please, I’m just a cub, don’t flatter me," Ozia waved his hand as he blushed terribly. Although he acted like he didn’t mind, his expression showed that he really liked this.
"Young Prince, how may this lowly one be of service to you," Another creature ran up to them from the side and quickly knelt down.
It was a fox lady. She had four fluffy red tails behind her. Her eyes settled on Ozia, looking at him with a seductive look.
Although he was young, she didn’t mind offering her body to the first son of the king.
Ozia’s eyes lit up as he stared at the fox lady. He might be young but his brain was sharp.
In this place where there was almost no such thing as ethics or morality, anything could happen. The fox lady offering herself to Ozia would even be looked at favorably.
The foxes behind her at their tent nodded their heads with looks of acknowledgement. To them, this fox lady was smart and would go far in life if she maintained this cleverness.
Ozia looked up and down at the body of this fox lady, making sure to burn her appearance into the very depths of his adolescent mind.
Unlike his father, he actually had some growing fetishes that he wasn’t afraid to be let know.
Seeing this, many other low-ranking beings saw this as an opportunity and quickly ran to kneel before Ozia’s hovering form.
They flattered, fawned, admired, and drowned the little guy in praises. Ozia took them all with a barely hidden arrogance growing in his eyes.
"Ozia, welcome," Someone greeted calmly. It was Commander Bibi, and unlike the other creatures who were practically dry humping the ground for Ozia, Bibi remained calm.
The wolf man, muscular and tall, calmly walked over. He ignored those wolves who were among those to kneel before Ozia. He had no qualms about their actions, he was aware they were just doing this for a better life.
"Bibi," Ozia said, giving Bibi a nod to show his greeting. The only people he respected were direct family members. Besides them, not even Marcus could earn his respect.
"What did you come here to do, did you also come to pay your last respect?" Bibi asked, ignoring the blatant lack of respect. His allegiance was to the King, not Ozia. He couldn’t care less if Ozia did not respect him.
"Last respect? Did someone die?" Ozia asked as he looked around. "Wait, why are you all here?" He was finally asking with a frown on his face.
"Your grand uncle died, Ozia. You didn’t know?" Bibi asked.
Ozia shook his head, "Oh, I didn’t know. For some reason, Auntie Priya spent a lot of time preparing the shuttle, we should have been here earlier."
Ozia didn’t seem perturbed at the news of his grand uncle’s death.
At the same time, Priya, who was coming from behind, frowned as she heard Ozia. She had intentionally taken her time to come here as she didn’t want to see Uncle at all.
"I see," Bibi nodded, oblivious to whatever the reason was, "And why did you come here then?"
Hearing the question, Ozia’s expression changed. He looked around, finally realizing that he would have to report himself in front of these creatures.
"No," He shook his head, "I just came to see father, that’s all," He saw the wooden pyramid ahead and calmed down. He could make his report there.
"Oh, is that grandfather?" Ozia asked, trying to change the subject. The runes underneath his feet lit up as he dashed away.
"Greetings Commander Bibi," Priya greeted Bibi with a sweet smile. Bibi bowed and genuinely returned the smile.
"Greetings, Your Highness," He responded.
"Has he been buried?" Priya asked as her spirit sense swept through the vicinity.
"Yes, he has, Your Highness," Bibi answered respectfully. He was very polite and respectful with Priya, unlike his bare-minimum attitude with Ozia.
"Good evening, Commander Bibi,"
"Good evening Commander Bibi,"
"Good evening, Bibi,"
Silas and the other children greeted Bibi, bowing slightly.
Bibi smiled, ’Now, these are good cubs,’ He thought to himself.
"Hey, Grandpa," Ozia shouted as he sped through the air over the heads of the humanoids.
What a weird way to greet an elder.
Marcus and Kael’s father were still discussing. Marucs had been trying to get the latter to feel good about his death and was even recommending some relaxation procedures.
Anything to keep him away from the wooden pyramid.
Then they heard Ozia’s voice. Kael’s father, who was already in a bad mood, had his expression darken.
Wasn’t this the arrogant brat he had for a grandson? A grandson who was significantly stronger than him.
Ozia dropped down in front of Marcus, standing in between the two adults who were in the middle of a discussion.
His black dreadlocks danced around due to his sharp and powerful descent and the ground cracked slightly.
While he was about to engage the two adults in small talk, the wooden slabs of the pyramid shifted to the side.
Kael calmly walked out of the pyramid with a mighty aura bellowing out of his body.
